0:09 A caterer shipped these (2) 23" Cortez chocolate fountains back stating they do not work. Here are the problems we resolve in this two part series:
- Chocolate does not flow up the center cylinder
- Chocolate just sits in the bowl
- The motor cannot be heard
0:40 Cannot here the motor working.
1:20 Testing the fountain with a melted "Brick" of RMA chocolate (returned merchandise).

Boba! Thank you for the posts :-) Yes, if you do not have Sephra chocolate you will have to add oil or cocoa butter to the chocolate. Your chocolate should have at least 39-40% cocoa butter.

Hi, i have a sephra chocolate fountain and when i turned on the preheat and turned the thermostat up, there was a very loud groaning noise. the heating element was working as the plate was hot, however there was a VERY loud groan. Note: only the pre-heat function was turned on, not the actual motor so it wasn't the noise of the auger knocking, it was a loud groan when ONLY the heating was turned on.
Is this normal? will the sound disappear?

Hi! I have all ok! you have the video in the thick chocolate fountain, and so after they lowered the air, it goes over the cliff.

for good consistency must be added to chocolate cocoa butter, or a little vegetable oil
