  • At first the chocolate fountain didn't work as it should. We tried adding more chocolate and then a little bit more vegetable oil but it still didn't flow as it should. The trick was to let it rest for one minute and then turn it back on.

Love to know how you did this, we bought one, barely warmed the chocolate and didn't manage to pump it even after mixing in a load of milk, totally useless device

I never mix the chocolate with milk. For this type of machine the chocolate needs to be mixed with oil to make it more of a liquid.

Will try but tone honest the milk wasn't my idea but should have made it liquid enough, indeed to be perfectly honest the machine should've able to melt chocolate itself, the fact it clearly can't suggests to me it's a heap of Chinese crap that should not be sold as it doesn't do what it says on the box.however i will give it a go before returning it as useless

@@davehitchman5171 Dave, You seem to be blaming your product it sounds like you're not using it properly. The author of this video has recommended using a splash of oil, and I would recommend that too. Having owned a few of these machines over the years, I have never come across one which suggests one uses "milk". I appreciate you used your own logic, I imagine to 'thin' the melted chocolate. Simple flavorless oil, like cheap vegetable oil will work to lubricate the melted chocolate. You used milk so I wouldn't blame your product as being "Chinese crap" just yet. Read your product instructions and using the model number and name, search online for a specific tutorial or video concerning your product.
