It actually made it look much cleaner and nicer with that trim on. I had mine done the same with the door edge guard rubber all the way around every edge.
Good and informative video! I'm looking for something like this but more for edge protection. My concern with it wrapping the bottom is water getting trapped and held down there opening up opportunity for rust. Usually there's a reason cars and built the way they are. Maybe it's not an issue so much where you live but I know where I live it can and does rain almost everyday and some parts of the year can rain for days straight. Just food for thought.

How long should i get if i want to apply on four doors? 15 ft or 30 ft? Since these two lengths are the only two lengths available from where I can buy.
Id purchase if the edge was smoother but the metal inside makes bumpy. My truck is black and i dont want it to be too obvious. If someone made edge quard film in black like the clear you would have a million dollar invention.
I’m not sure. I took it off my truck because I wasn’t driving into the city and was not concerned with door dings anymore. I wouldn’t imagine there would be any long term issues. The overall look wasn’t really for me.

No, I can’t say that I have.
Those metal clips will rust over time, won't they? I know they are inside the rubber tube but still it will rust..
If they are inside the rubber I wouldn’t imagine they would. It’s a completely insulated.
