Snyder wanted green lanterns meeting Bruce Wayne at the end of the film but Warner bros denied the request and hence he included Martian man hunter. Also Snyder isn’t sure whether he would get another opportunity to direct another DC movie and hence he decided to film the Batman and joker knightmare scene. This was meant as a fan service.
The death of Robin was supposed to be shown in the Ben Affleck's batman/ Jared Leto's movie. And either of them were never made, So he wanna give the fans a treat
Weird how they made a joke about the times motherboxes were mentioned in one single dc movie when MCU is all about infinity stones and said over 1000 times
They mention infinity stones once in age of ultron, once in doctor strange and then a few times in infinity Warr and endgame. Not that much, compared to mother boxes in the same movie
@@vikramprasanna8908 they are mentioned a lot in Infinity war and Endgame. And I'm not saying it's a bad thing, because the whole plot revolves around those objects.
Go to 2018 Justice League honest trailer you will know they Said snyder's cut is a pipe dream. So when this movie got released, they in butthurt mode. I stop watching honest trailer since early 2018. They ni longer making jokes but instead hating
The thing about changing the aspect ratio. Zack shot this film for IMAX, in which the aspect ratio is 4:3. Changing it to widescreen like other movies means you need to crop out the top and bottom portions of the movie. I'd rather watch this in the original form than a cropped-out version. For example, old TV shows like Seinfeld were shot at a 4:3 aspect ratio. And when they remasted it for streaming, they changed the aspect ratio to 16:9 to fit in a widescreen TV. They cropped out top and bottom portions of the show and people hated it.
This honest trailer conveniently left out the fact that Flash saved everyone by reversing time and Cyborg separating the motherboxes and saving everyone
They definitely had more hate for this movie than most, but they leave our stuff like that all the time. They’re trying to make jokes about the movie more than review it. It’s not meant to be taken as a serious review.
@@22antricha Obviously lol but I’m pointing it out because of their “Superman did everything” comment. When you make jokes, they should at least be somewhat accurate lmfao or at least fit the context.
@@justtoolit6051 Also while people call it parody rather than review, there are a bunch of idiots who watch honest trailers for critique. Also it was 9 minutes long. At that point, it's no longer a trailer, it's longer than some actual reviews.
About the Joker scene, it wasn't in his original plan, he just added to show the world how his JL 2 will be and he said in many interviews that if this is his last DCEU movie then a batman scene without Joker is incomplete. It wasn't selfish but more like fan service. He dared enough to change his film so that fans get Ben Affleck's Batman (probably his last film) scene with Jered Leto's Joker (probably his last film too). And he dared enough to give Leto a second chance just as how he got a second chance to show his movie.
Exactly! . Also zack didn't want to cut any POC actors that's why fought again with the studio when they asked to remove MM & GL from last scene. That whole ending scene more like fan service.
Look- I don't mind if Honest Trailer makes fun of movies I like (their joke about the length, shirt removal, slomo, sesame seed, Aquaman mood, and Wonder Woman track were funny), but when they tried to say that this movie was essentially the same as the last one and that Superman can handle everything himself- it's like... did they even watch the movie? It felt like they tried too hard to not like this movie and watched it solely for the sake of finding things to not like and exaggerate how bad those things are. Making fun of the overuse of "mother box" was horrible- it's like you can't use nouns or names to talk about objects anymore. Honest Trailer usually makes fun of overused moments in movies- a good one to make fun of in this movie is the amount of times they zoom in on a sad Lois- like we get it. Ironically, this Honest Trailer felt poorly written, poorly compiled, and rushed to release like Josstice League.
The original writer left screenjunkies in 2017. Since then, the quality has drop. Remember, they also Among youtuber that saying snyder's cut not exist. That's why HT feels like butthurt than cracking jokes around
There were no death threats. Not as far as I know. People spammed the Warner executives. They didn't like being told what to do. If that's toxic then that's what they do with the filmmakers. Telling them what to do.
@@justiceleague-wo1zs Yeah man. Also spreading awareness about suicide prevention and raising money for the same. I mean what even is this hate culture!

That's why i stop watching their videos. I forgot the ballcap name but he the only DC fans there and he left screenjunkies in 2018.
@@boboboy8189 I stopped watching these a long time ago. They have a template and it's kinda worn out. And yes, this video is not coming from a creative place. It's from a place of hate. There was a lot of fan service in the movie that they could have gone after without being so harsh. It would have been funny at least. But they are making this video as a fan service to the haters. So I get that.
I would just like to say that I know most snyder fans aren't toxic and what they've done for suicide prevention is incredible, but there is a minority that don't care about that stuff for instance warner media made a post about stopping Asian hate and the comment section was filled with #restorethesnyderverse with some people even comparing being a Snyder fan to experiencing racism which is simply unacceptable! (Just to be clear though I do like this film)
Martian Manhunter has a weakness to fire while in his native Martian form. Over time, this was developed into pyrophobia, with fire being the Martian's "Achilles heel", equivalent to Superman's weakness to kryptonite. Also, no one argued on the fact that Captain Marvel never came down to earth back again while Ultron was destroying everything and loki tore everything apart in 2012! They both have their reasons.
That's fine, but in reality, if he'd allowed to do this film for theatrical release he would have created 2 cuts, one for IMAX and one for the Many, Many regular theaters that exist where IMAX is just not available (the majority of the World in fact)
@@greygorthegoateedgeek5350 well yes it was. But that means removing much of the scenes that you shot and bring the vertical image down. But since it's going to hbomax He wanted people to see everything he shot.
@@delishdida That's fine, but its a choice. He shot select scenes using IMAX cameras and scenes not shot with IMAX camera he shot in 35mm with a 1.33:1 aspect ratio so that he'd have a film that would fill an IMAX screen at all times. He didn't want the swich in ratios that normally occur in IMAX presentations. But upon theatrical release there would have been a cropped 1.78:1 that would have been seen by the majority of the audience. The same for Blu-Ray, DVD and Streaming release. I'm not saying his decision to stick to the Academy Ratio is wrong (or at least near Academy Ratio), but he made a choice to stick with it despite almost no one having the ability to display it so that it fills the screen which is why he wanted it in the first place.
About the 4:3 ratio, perfect example of it being so effective is the scene where steppenwholf takes a long jump lands with the hammer in the amazonian fight. Or the cyborg landing to talk to WW. Its gives vertical room for action. In superhero movies that involves a lot of flying and throwing around 4:3 gives more room for action.
Some fans started rate bombing Godzilla Vs Kong, giving it like one star and then saying something like "Boycott Warner Bros #RestoreTheSnyderVerse " and stuff like that
And when it comes to the ratio, he kept the larger aspect proportion in mind. He actually showed more than the average! It has been his vision since BVS
I don't see what is the problem with the black bars. Pull out any other movie on your monitor right now and you see a lot more black bars. Sure, they are top and bottom, but that just means you see more horizontally where as Snyder Cut let's us see more vertically. 4:3 (1.3:1) is way closer to 16:9 (1.7:1) than Blu-ray (2.4:1) is, so basically you see even more with 4:3.
The thing is you can always use software to convert the aspect ratio as there is nothing below the screen, we were shown maximum visual with this aspect ratio but then you will be just cutting image. Which is foolish.
@@ayushman3359 The software isn't giving you any more footage than the Blu-ray has. It doesn't magically convert the top and bottom black bars to footage you don't see with 2.4:1. The question I've had for some time is why hasn't film industry changed to 1920 x 1080 from 1920 x 800 since pretty much every monitor is 16:9. I guess it is for theaters, but every year we push more and more streaming.
Ann Sarnoff or whatever her name is, recieved welcome presents from the Snyder Cut fans from all over the world. If these are concidered death threats, then these WB execs are over entitled.
He probably put MM just because he knew that was something he's been building towards since MOS and didn't want to run the risk of not ever revealing it, which sucks because his reveal ruined a Lois-Martha relationship.
That would make sense given that it was reported Green lantern was going to be in BvS, then was moved to JL as a cameo or something. But WB has Green Lantern projects in the works and probably decided they didn't want it to get tied into Snyder stuff.
They also left out the part where Darkseid just forgot about where Earth was despite launching a full scale invasion of it and it being not only the location of the anti-life equation but also the site of his only defeat. The movie is dumb as fuck.
@@arunselvaraj5054 one word, dumb. Multiverse has no correlation to how he forgot the coordinates to a place he invaded. He had to know how to get there in order to invade there in the first place. If anything, there being multiple earths would only insure he would remember which one he was fucking invading, not the other way around.
@@arunselvaraj5054 It's already been explained by Snyder. Go look it up. Hint: it is a laughable explanation that consists of him desperately trying to escape his and Terrio's bad writing and doing an - as usual - terrible job of it. Though in his defense, it is pretty much impossible to explain adequately given how he set it up. There is no explaining a screw up of this magnitude without a straight up retcon.
I liked the Snyder cut in general, but four hours is way to long and I understand why they cut it down to send it to theaters and since an actual intermission at a theater has not been done until since the 1940's or so everyone was going to miss something as they would have to go to the bathroom at least once.
My only complaints about the Snyder Cut are the weird singing in the Aquaman scene, the weird Wonder Woman theme, Martian Manhunter's reveal downplaying the emotional scene prior to Martha and Lois and Darkseid forgetting the one planet he lost on where he happened to misplace the Anti-Life Equation. Loved the experience otherwise.

We petitioned it and hashtagged the release the Snyder cut. Obviously with any fandom there are the crazies and really harshhhh violent people, but it was mainly a community coming together to get it released and now we want Zack to get his chance to actually move forward with the dceu, which is now a potential gold mine for Warner bros now, and personally I think he deserves it. He lost his daughter half way through production battling with executives because the wanted a marvel movie, so I think he should get this opportunity back!
I agree about the ending. The epilogue should have been one sequence of catching up with the heroes after their victory with the voice over of Silas Stone, which was very touching. When Superman rips open his shirt that's where the movie should have ended. The other scenes were kind of cool but after seeing them once or twice I never need to see them again. Whenever I watch the movie again I will turn if off after Superman rips his shirt open. It's a much stronger ending.

The last two scenes with Lex Luthor and Deadstroke and the apocalyptic vision of the future with the Joker may be unnecessary for the plot of this movie but at least he put them at the end of the movie so you can stop watching the movie after the last scene with Supeman.
I mean that's not how movies work but yeah. For people who wanted to see it, since he was just putting everything he had out there it's fine but in terms of how it works as a movie there's alot of stuff in the Snyder Cut that detracts from that. It felt very much like watching an art film rather than like a movie.
Yeah, after seeing those scene a couple of times I don't need to see them again. I'll always turn off the movie after Superman rips his shirt open. It's a much stronger ending.
I think he wanted them to be mid and end credits scenes (might not be true since his other movies don't) but he wanted to end it with a dedication for Autumn Snyder rather than have those scenes distract from that dedication.
@@kelex12 Those are basically aftercredit scenes putted before credits. Good part: you don't need to skipping credits to see them, bad part: they continue immediately after great real ending with Superman rips his shirt open. If they separated them with at least few seconds of credits it would be much better.
While I enjoy the honest trailers from screen rant, For once the honest trailer for Snyder cut didn’t make sense and the criticism seemed over the top and the jokes were flat.
They constantly said “there is no Snyder cut” and would "debate" with some of their audience about it. The only one I really liked was Dan Murrell (thank god he left them) and when they announced ZSJL he said he was wrong & actually apologized, he even said he loved the movie in his review. They'd never do something like that.
martian manhunter .... literally said one line in the movie and people ignore that ..... he was not sure about this planet before and after the fight he released that defenders will fight and he now has STAKE IN THIS WORLD ,,, before he was not sure .
The main point of the joker scene was to explain joker card on batman's gun in the knightmare sequence of bvs . since the fans have constantly asked him about that card and he didn't knew if he will get that chance again or not, so just to give his best shot on his vision he put that scene in . so it was not for dragging the movie for self indulgence but for questions asked by fans for almost 5 years now . and joker was there to initially begin with was because in his entire plan for JL movies joker was supposed to play a key role in death of lois .
So... Screen Junkies clearly doesn't like this movie. I like those guys and their comedy style, even most of their criticism is always on point. But this clearly was them making fun of Zack Snyder, not the movie.
Screenjunkies no longer has DC fans. The original writer left in 2017 after sexual accusation. The One who wrote since 2018 is mcu fans. I'm not saying mcu fans is bad but when they reply in comment section they want dc hero to be human means they missing about the theme of dc is Gods Among Human. Marvel is Earth strongest Hero means they just normal human turned into superhero
Martian Manhunter is that hero that looks literally like an alien so he gets received differently all the time.he hides until he feels safe to come out and that's why in the end he tells Bruce that he's realized he is a part of this world so he will now start to defend it.
Snyder cut was putting band-aid on Whedon's JL. It's better than the Whedon's but still mediocre. No classic Batman acts, Wonder Woman shown so much weaker than Steppenwolf whereas she had defeated God of War and had gone toe to toe with Doomsday... I mean c'mon without any back story you establish that Barry can turn back time and the mother boxes shows that Victor's greatest fear was being alone (with previously establishing that mother boxes are the most advanced weapon). I guess DC fans are just happy that something like this was made into a movie, one can only like it but can't be crazy about it!!!
I agree with the stuff being self indulgent, but I agree with Achara as well. I saw this as an uncut "Here is what was considered" film, like bonus cover songs that aren't needed but something to enjoy.
ZSJL Martian Manhunter is like Captain Marvel in Avengers Infinity War. They obviously could help, but the plot does not require them to help "yet" They are there as an introduction characters for future films or just for fan service.
Martian Manhunter did nothing in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman because he felt the same way that Jonathan Kent, Perry White and Clark (initially) felt, like the world was not ready and how they would react. We saw how the world reacted to Superman in BvS, so the last thing the world needed was a green Martian flying around (the JL had not yet fought Steppenwolf). So instead, he tried to make the world a better place in every way he could. He carried on with his Secretary of Defence duties but also went to Lois to get her back into the world and arguably Martha as well, since she asked Clark when she first saw him "Are you really you?" I don't think that the choice of words is random here, MM had already visited her and she knew there was a shape-shifter, probably that is how he got know the way she looks and learned a bit about her (like she lost the house and found a place by the diner) and how to speak to Lois so that it didn't feel off. Anyways, my point is that when he saw there was a threat and that the "rejects" came out of the shadows and united to fight and save the world and thus made themselves known to the world, he realized that that was the time to stand with them and out of the shadows as well. Yes, he is a mind-reader but we do not know the extent of his powers in this universe, maybe he did not read one of the heroes' or Alfred's minds before the battle so as to know what was going on and go there in time.
In the Honest Trailers Commentaries they said they actually liked the movie, that is better than the Joss Whdon cut and are glad that Zack Snyder got his vision. However, they still find some issues with Snyder's style of directing, like the slow motion, and the comparision of the main heroes with gods, and things that could have been a little shortened like the Steppenwolf and Desaad dialogue which basically had the same design, instead of talking directly to Darkseid.
That's what DC is, God among us. Whoever said human to be superhero means they want it to be Marvel way which is Earth strongest Heroes. Screenjunkies is MCU fans, the last DC fans already left them in 2019
Agree, he always let everything out unlike others blockbuster movie. Blockbuster movie tend to use same formula and we saw they did in other superhero franchise
Martian manhunter wasn't teaming up because he was martian and he didn't feel like he needs to put efforts into this world. There is a whole story of Anti-life equation of earth and life equation of Mars too but the end credits was supposed to be green lantern instead of him so it was kinda tacked on in the end.
A couple of things about your mentioning opinions on Martian Manhunter and the Joker Scene: MM was supposed to have been in the original blue print of the film John Stewart GL, the end scene with Ben Affleck Bruce was supposed to be with Green Lanterns, and John was supposed to have been a surprise character to come and save them to tie in the fact that Green Lantern is in the mythos, as was the first time you saw him fighting Darkseid, WB said no even though it was already shot, they deleted that footage and said they had Plans for GL, so MManhunter, who was probably gonna be revealed later, also a refugee from his destroyed planet Mars, has been keeping an eye on things on earth, but didnt trust exposing himself, as was prevented by Jonathan Kent in MOS, but seeing them come together he would have joined the team, thus creating an actual JL, a core team of 7, but because of everything that happened with WB and Joss takin over, instead of Continuing the vision, did his own thing while cutting away half the films skeleton and brilliance, MM didnt get to be filmed helping the team, and there was no way he could go back to that scene after WB already deleted GL from the written story. That said, WB never wanted this film to come out, period, so taking this chance to finish the story as it was supposed to be told, this scene needed to happen with Joker and Bruce, it acknowledges BvS and the death of Robin, it acknowledges that theres a Multiverse formed of the Flash running back in time over and over, and it also acknowledges that Lois death caused all this because Bruce failed to protect her, and that the only way he could end the knightmare is by sacrificing himself, really listen and watch that scene you get why its powerful, when the one person you hate most is right about something, but the choice you have to make will cost you redemption or vengeance. Its a very Batman type of pain to go through, especially with the Joker, but also because WB didnt want this film to come out at all, its perfectly Justified that this scene be included, it redeems Jared Letos Joker, it expands the world beyond the story while also tying back to earlier easter eggs and comic book canon. In a perfect world WB lets the director tell the story without compromise and interference, but we live in a society where honor is a distant memory.
I'm not a massive fan of the cut, but you cannot complain about the inclusion of scenes that lead to future projects when that was going to be in the original cut and this is supposed to be the original cut. As to the trailer being overly mean, naah. I really think the down votes are down to the SMALL percentage of DC fans that auto-downvote anything perceived to be a criticism of the Snyder Cut. There is the same thing on the MCU side, there are a SMALL percentage of them who were the same with anything criticising Infinity War or Endgame. In fact this video will probably be hit by downvotes as well, god forbid you should even dare to react to something that is seen as a criticism, if the downvotes climb above 10% of the upvotes it is probably heading that way. There are some people (in all fandoms) who become to overly-invested in something and when its "attacked" it feels like an attack on them. As an MCU fan I think I've seen 20+ Honest Trailers and they've been fun, even when they point out really dumb stuff that I should have noticed, its never affected my enjoyment of the films.
Look, the thing is, the pitfalls (4:3 ratio, ww music, etc) are only noticeable if u knew about it before watching the film. I agree the 4:3 is different, but it did not affect the experience for me😅 I was staring wide eyed at the TV throughout 😂🤍
There's a reason behind Aquaman having less power in ZSJL coz director James Waan wanted to show how Arthur Curry receives full power in Aquaman 2018 film and suggested Snyder to keep Aquaman's power less and Snyder happily agreed with it
His original idea was a 5 part arc from Man of steel, BvS, JL 1,2&3. He also didn't want any origins movies before the movies, that was Warner bros mandate. Honestly if Snyder did stay on the DCEU would still suck. He clearly wants to make 4 to 5 hours long movies that cram in as much things in it as possible & expect it to be released in theaters.
The knightmare takes place in the future, the remaining heroes and villains that haven't been killed have to team up to survive and to repair the timeline.
Yes, Lois is pregnant. They teased it in the scene where she opens her drawer and there were pregnancy tests in it and when Bruce says Congratulations to Clark it was because Lois was pregnant and then it cuts to Lois who was taking a small baby cot into the house.
@@jeremyrdlamaxima7052 Even if I like that knightmare scene they are all stupid to stay exposed and discuss with a Superman that could arrive at any time, it's quite dumb... But the whole scene is fan service and JL 2 / 3 teaser so I'm fine with that
@@ThibautMahringer I mean yeah you right that was kinda dumb for them to be in plain site. I mean everything they did in these movie was fan service. The movie itself was made for the fans. Martian Manhunter appearing out of nowhere is fan service, flash going back in time is fan service etc.
I don't want to hate one this movie as compared to other Zack's superhero movies which I hate to death, because this is the only movie in which characters act like they actually should and not like their villain counterparts, but I had problem with heroes using fatal weapons and the killing stuff.
I know it's more than half a year late comment but post apocalyptic scene wasn't just in this movie, it was introduced back in Man of Steel when Superman was shown dark future by General Zod (scene with Superman black suite going in ground full of skulls), then it was shown from the eyes of Batman in BvS (different perspective than MoS) Batman fighting parademons under control of Superman who is under control of Darksied, post Lois's death, and now fully described in ZSJL. Not to forget explanation to flash's time travel in BvS, Cyborg's nightmare before Superman comes back to life. I enjoyed all of it and though all was well put together. Simple but complex for shadowing. just an opinion
So the writers actually liked it at least more than the other Snyder DC movies. But they definitely oversimplify every movie for the sake of the jokes, even the ones they really like when they do them. For example they really (to generalize) like and see Civil War as a really good MCU movie but their honest trailer went deep pointing out the logic or problems with it and what doenst work when you think about it. I dont think they were very harsh on the movie at all to be honest. They just stuck to the obvious stuff that sticks out. Also plenty of movies go through what Snyders movie went through yet they dont have social media campaigns to bully Studios into giving them what they want. The slow motion stuff and pointing out Lois was just the scene they used because they had a joke to make about it. But when so much of your movie is slow mo then you take the teeth out of showcasing The Flash and his powers because it just looks like so many other scenes. It's why Quicksilver in Days of Future Past sticks out so much. So yeah Snyders indulgence in his vision detracts (IMO in many ways) from the movie overall. The downvotes on the honest trailer was inevitable. Too many Snyder fans who will just refuse to see this as anything other than the pinnacle of what comic book movies should be and they dont want to hear any criticism even if its straight up jokes. Plus the Screen Junkies now Fandom peeps were pretty strongly positioned on the side of "the Snyder cut doesn't exist like you think it does and hashtags arent going to get you anywhere". Which was true until COVID and the gold rush of streaming services hit and they saw an opportunity to hype up HBO Max. I appreciate your commentary on the honest trailer though. So many reactions just react and leave it at that without saying much. Which I think in a perfect world stuff like Honest Trailers is just a way to spark conversation about films which is fun as hell.
Exactly, I don't see why people are upset. At the end of the day, the honest trailer is written based on how they perceive the movie. Not too surprised though, people on the Internet usually feel threatened when someone they someone they acknowledge shares a dissenting viewpoint.
@@danteisnotkoold4611 Yeah I mean I follow them, watch their shows, their commentary videos on their honest trailers so I get why people just seeing the trailer just be like "They hate this for no reason" or start to pick it apart. But like that's the point. It's a comedic video series. Yes they often bring up legit movie problems but also they'll hone in on a thing and make a joke out of it that's not actually important to the movie. Like it's just fun. Cinemasins gets the same stuff but the point is the narrator is a character, the point of which is that nothing is actually good enough so he nitpicks and hates on things. But that kind of stuff goes over people's heads. They just think too surface level like it's some legit review of the movie. It's not. It's not supposed to be.
@@ericmicke4130 Personally I gave it a dislike just because of the comment about Superman making the rest of the League useless, only good for “standing in a line.” That is probably the most egregious criticism of the movie, relevant to the Josstice League, but certainly not to Snyder Cut, as shown in the final battle. That one line shows a blatant bias and lack of attention against the movie.
@@kimlit058 right. So you dont like exaggeration to make a joke when it's something you feel strongly about. That's fine. But it is just exaggeration, why do you think Superman had to be left aside for so long? He could have handled this shit on his own once he had his head straight. That's honestly always been an issue with Superman in the justice league.
@@ericmicke4130 Except for the fact that nobody but Cyborg and Flash together could separate the motherboxes. Unlike in Josstice League, here they literally all die when Flash gets taken out. Without batman, Flash would have been killed by the parademon. Without cyborg, the motherboxes wouldn’t have been able to be separated. Without Flash, literally everyone would have died. The “Superman makes everyone else useless” is only applicable to the josstice garbage. One of the reasons Snyder cut is so much better is BECAUSE the rest of the league is essential. So no, it is not just an exaggeration, it is blatantly incorrect. The fact that Honest Trailers repeated this joke when it no longer applies shows their bias.
Guys, have you thought about all the scenes after bruce buys the bank were supposed to be mid-credit or end credits scenes if this movie was releAsed in theaters?
Zack Snyder just like Christopher Nolan won't do mid credit scene or after credit' scene, Cristopher Nolan Said to snyder about a real movie won't have a scene after or mid credit
You guys just don't get it about Snyder cut. Maybe this will be the final talk between jerred letto joker and Ben Affleck Batman. That's why it was included. Ben Affleck is quiting from Batman so he will never be able to interact to joker. That's why they included as a tribute. Same case with Martian manhunter.

You guys think this trailer is too hard. Be happy that they pulled the punches. This movie raised so many questions that it didn’t even solve. I had to bloody search the answers and find articles where Snyder is explaining the answers. I mean wtf? Four hours of a movie and still I need to find the explanations from a goddamn article? He went all the way to include manhunter, joker and all that shit for possible sequels and just not a hint to explain. I couldn’t even understand what darkseid motivation is? Why steppenwolf is so loyal? I mean darkseid doesn’t give a shit? How is the anti life equation of earth. As a casual audience, I feel it’s the movie’s job to atleast hint at it. But nah. And here we go, people would chant to restore the Snyderverse Goddamnit
The nightmare sequence at the end of ZSJL especially is the culmination of the man of steel and bvs movies... it indicates that the time line of the future flash is still in play and nothing has changed... what is to happen will happen... earths demise is still in play... and Luis is still the key. Not self indulgent, it was intentional from the beginning. Stories don’t have to be wrapped up into a neat bow. It’s more exciting for it to be revealed over time... like the codex.. that still has not been explained... i probably will be if he is given a chance to continue the story telling.
If they released the movie in wide screen, the top and bottom the the movie frames would have been cut off, Zack said there is nothing under the black side bars.

It's satirical comedy. For me who isn't a fan of any movie, I didn't feel like they get down harder on this one than any other. The fans were just butthurt about a comedy show. that's the same as booing a stand up comedian when he says something really funny but for some reason hit you personally.
You will enjoy the movie from a singular point but if you're going with the comics or DC Francis in mind it will be a bit confusing.. All the stigma is because of the name Snyder attached ..
You guys should react to VFX artists reacting to bad and good CGI in Justice League (2017) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). You guys might like it
Also Wonderwoman. The DCU is like a super hero fan service Universe where the heroes are all over powered, which leads directly to bad storytelling, since the heroes can't really be beat. But - this is what fanboys want, yet most viewers are *not* fanboys so this is why the DC is forever in conflict. Giving fan boys what they want - leads to making bad movies that no one else wants to see.
I really don't get why ppl complain so much about the aspect ratio, didn't bothered me at all, the slow motions I feel like yeah there's too much but at the same time the Snydercut it's more of a director's cut, so for me it's fine because we get all the scenes that we maybe wouldn't have if Zack's version was the theatrical release (because it would've been shorter), and about the Knightmare sequence that's just fanservice and the final scene with Ajax it was supposed to be Green Lantern so I kinda understand why he kept with him since he wasn't able to put the original. Usually I don't really make a big deal about these kind of videos but this one really felt like they were more hating on the movie and forcing jokes, most of the stuff is not really a problem when you watch the movie.
You may say adding the post apocalyptic scenes selfish, but they were not. No one knows if Snyderverse is happening or not, this might be Snyder's last DC project. So why not give the fans who fought for it the ultimate feast to enjoy? It's totally fine for me. Also if it were to be released in 2017, he would have shot those scenes then too. So that's not selfish. That's the actual SnyderCut. If this was going to be released in theatres, obviously it was going to be edited and could have made a great 3 hour movie including the knightmare scene. But this is out and out SnyderCut in it's purest form, no scissors behind it, that's why it's 4 hours. We gotta understand that.
It’s basically people not liking another person’s opinion, which is what the comment section of most videos have unfortunately become. I loved Snyder’s Justice League but I also can admit that some of the criticisms jokingly levelled were perfectly justified. At the end of the day, honest trailers is just humour, not something to get butthurt about.

@@justtoolit6051 isn't it true tho? once superman is revived he could've handled it alone.
I think he added it which he had to fight for was a brilliant ploy to get traction for him to get his franchise back.

Martian Manhunter has a weakness to fire while in his native Martian form. There was an event (justice con ) where he was talking to the fans saying about he wanted to do the aspect ratio
That's fine, but in reality, if he'd allowed to do this film for theatrical release he would have created 2 cuts, one for IMAX and one for the Many, Many regular theaters that exist where IMAX is just not available (the majority of the World in fact)
@@greygorthegoateedgeek5350 it was originally shot for IMAX and then moved to hbomax. He felt no need to cut off the all the extra portion he shot.
@@delishdida So it was never intended for any non-IMAX screens?
Because we are in 2021. Its a sufficient reason.

and he was disguising as a high ranking military personnel before this, quite double standard for me
The main point of the joker scene was to explain joker card on batman's gun in the knightmare sequence of bvs . since the fans have constantly asked him about that card and he didn't knew if he will get that chance again or not, so just to give his best shot on his vision he put that scene in . so it was not for dragging the movie for self indulgence but for questions asked by fans for almost 5 years now .
and joker was there to initially begin with was because in his entire plan for JL movies joker was supposed to play a key role in death of lois .

But that’s what dc heroes are. Their god like characters trying to be as human as possible. At least to my knowledge of them.
@@darkfire2942 yes. i honestly think that honest trailer wants dc to be marvel
That's what DC is, God among us.
Whoever said human to be superhero means they want it to be Marvel way which is Earth strongest Heroes.
Screenjunkies is MCU fans, the last DC fans already left them in 2019
We needed the slo-mo to find out Steppenwolf has 7 fingers on each hand.
Zack Snyder's films are original, and he don't make the success formula films... Which all are same...
I think they went in extra hard too
I'm not a massive fan of the cut, but you cannot complain about the inclusion of scenes that lead to future projects when that was going to be in the original cut and this is supposed to be the original cut.
I agree the 4:3 is different, but it did not affect the experience for me😅
I was staring wide eyed at the TV throughout 😂🤍
That was a nice discussion.
Bjork is an Icelandic experimental singer who has a weird voice, so he was reference Bjork when he said many horny Bjork's
Anyone else noticed the UNAGI t shirt?
Movie was filmed in full frame, so if they released it in 16:9 there would be lots of cropping the image 😩 much better in 4:3 😁
There's a reason behind Aquaman having less power in ZSJL coz director James Waan wanted to show how Arthur Curry receives full power in Aquaman 2018 film and suggested Snyder to keep Aquaman's power less and Snyder happily agreed with it
I agree that snyder cut was better than the 2017 justice league but if zack snyder was told to tell a 4 hours movie into a 2 hours it would suck too.
Why is there scenes from josstice league which was clearly not in zack snyder cut? 🧐
Martian manhunter didn't join justice league fight as he didn't knew about the place where stephenwolf had kept the mother boxes.
Question: I don't remember Bruce ever meeting Mera so why is she in Bruce's nightmare? Did I miss anything?
Also, is Lois pregnant now?
The knightmare takes place in the future, the remaining heroes and villains that haven't been killed have to team up to survive and to repair the timeline.
Yes, Lois is pregnant. They teased it in the scene where she opens her drawer and there were pregnancy tests in it and when Bruce says Congratulations to Clark it was because Lois was pregnant and then it cuts to Lois who was taking a small baby cot into the house.
@@ThibautMahringer my man but Batman doesn’t mera stop being stupid
I know it's more than half a year late comment but post apocalyptic scene wasn't just in this movie, it was introduced back in Man of Steel when Superman was shown dark future by General Zod (scene with Superman black suite going in ground full of skulls),
then it was shown from the eyes of Batman in BvS (different perspective than MoS) Batman fighting parademons under control of Superman who is under control of Darksied, post Lois's death,
and now fully described in ZSJL.
Not to forget explanation to flash's time travel in BvS,
Cyborg's nightmare before Superman comes back to life. I enjoyed all of it and though all was well put together. Simple but complex for shadowing. just an opinion
How about the butfk reference from the Joker. Bruce dreams of Joker performing anal on him, while he secretly enjoys?
Now we have a new Martha meme. Martian Manhunter being Martha.
It's funny seeing so many people, including Jaby, not being able to admit to the obvious faults in the movie and pretending they didn't notice any of them. 😂🤣
Darkseid first appearance was of him being taken out by the same ares wonder woman beat alone and somehow he even forgot the only planet he ever lost to. I'm dumbfounded by how people thought this was a good movie.

No one asks about why the hell 1st hour of the Avengers Endgame is so slow and boring. Let me tell you.... BCOZ IT'S NEEDED. Just like the endgame where avengers were mourning over the loss of their dead friends and family, here Lois is mourning over the death of superman

but this will not change the fact that dceu has main competition with mcu and making a 4 hr movie wont help. imagine ur going to theaters to see this movie and u find that the movie is of 4 hours and includes most of the scenes u have already seen 3 yrs back. will u sit there 4 hours to see it? i wont and i dont know who has that much time to actually watch a 4hr movie. tho, during the pandemic most of the people had that much time so i understand why it didnt feel like 4 hrs. i personally saw the movie and to my expectation it was great. dc just needs some humour. i liked shazam so much i cant explain it. i feel like it was the best dceu movie i have seen till date
But nah.
And here we go, people would chant to restore the Snyderverse
Goddamnit
I think the moment the video critiqued fans using social media hashtags and compared it to violent harassment is when it lost me.

BTW ...The movie was not mediocre!
You guys should react to VFX artists reacting to bad and good CGI in Justice League (2017) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). You guys might like it
He's not wrong, Superman could do everything himself. He doesn't need anyone else.
I am sure that Dan and Lon can make a better version of this HT. That's the cut we want
Prove the targeted harassment pls have been a part of the fandom for three years haven't seen a single harassment complaint
Yeah, ScreenJunkies Jokes: "long, long, long, annoying fans, long, long..."
Before I say anything else, "unagi"
I agree with you, I liked the movie and I don't have a problem with this video.
