1:18 when I watched this part, I had a case of nostalgia seeing Michael Keaton return as Batman
Michael Keaton was great in this movie. Would love to see another movie with him and Burton together. Maybe Batman Beyond.
It would have been way cooler to see him in a "The Dark Knight Returns" type movie set after Alfred or Robin's death.
The truth is Michael Keaton stole the movie.
And I would cast Jenna Ortega as Batgirl.
Yes. Keaton as "old" Bruce training a new Batman in the future. That would be a great movie.
You know would blown everyone's mind? If when the vault opened and revealed the siuts that they had recreated some of the Batman action figures from the 90's.
They kinda did with the Gotham guardian and arctic suits, which are the last two suits on the right.

@@andrewdonnelly7201 yh that sucks am also sad affleck didn’t do his batman movie because there was great potential there, as for the keaton universe there’s a great comic series that continues that universe after batman returns its about two face and it’s basically the script burton had in mind for his third Batman movie.

Damn, seeing all those different suit variations for specific situations, it really makes me wonder what villains this Batman ran into after the Penguin. The suit with the goggles might have been for Mr. Freeze, I really would have liked to see Tim Burton's take on Freeze. (I do not accept Forever, and Batman and Robin, as part of this Bruce's cannon.)
The diving suit might've been for Killer Croc and the desert suit might've been when he took a trip to Nanda Parbat to fight Ra's al Ghul. Batman Forever and Batman and Robin might've still happened but VERY differently; he probably ran into Killer Croc and Ra's al Ghul after or in between those movies before retiring.
Of course it isn't Canon, remember the ending?
I really, really want more of Keaton Batman. He was by far the best part of this movie. If Gunn is smart, he will keep Keaton and give us more.

We all know why people hate it and I understand completely but Keaton and super girl where the best parts of the movie I can’t not give credit and say everything about the movie with Ezra was bad because it wasn’t but the main reason I watched it was to see Keaton again and it did not disappoint

Agreed. George Clooney was a good Bruce Wayne but a horrible Batman. Ben Affleck was terrible at both characters. Val Kilmer was a good Batman but a terrible Bruce Wayne. Michael Keaton pulled off both as did Christian bale. Those two were the only ones that were the best Batman.
@martinr8278 I agree with everything you said and now I don't care for the DCU no more now that james Gunn is starting everything all over with a new cast and I will always love DC but right now marvel spike some of there problems they still have a better marvel Universe that I can watch at the movies
Watched this more than once and it is NOT bad. Nothing mind-blowing obviously but definitely enjoyable.
There were a lot of things I liked about it like the plot/story and acting and other things I *really* hated like the CGI and the baby scene. That scene blew all seriousness I had away from this. I knew I wouldn’t be able to take it seriously anymore and it’s sad because I wanted to love it after I saw the ending to ZSJL.
I really liked this movie despite the bts drama
I’m really excited to see muschetti come back to direct brave and the bold

Classic Suit: the lighter color scheme was probably crafted for a less scary appeal during rescue operations
89’ Batsuit: from original movie
92 Batman Returns Batsuit: from Batman returns
Scuba Batsuit: based off some toys from the original movies toy lines
Desert Batsuit: original concept from what I can find
And then the middle, I would call it the updated Batsuit or armored Batsuit

Ezra may be a really crappy guy, but that doesn’t mean this wasn’t a really cool movie with some awesome moments. Just like this one.

It’s hilarious that the barrys just kinda wander in to the batcave with no problem. Even the bat closet has more security
I only see seven Batman costumes in the scene. None of them are no Batman Beyond suit.
Why would he have one, his universe already has a Gotham free from criminals so there is no need for an another vigilante plus it's a different timeline, maybe Terry also doesn't exist
Bruce in this timeline didn't create the Beyond suit. He didn't need a vigilante to keep Gotham safe as he already succeeded doing that on his own. It should also be remembered that this isn't the same Batman from the 89 movies. Its a version of him that mixed with the DCEU universe. I believe in terms of the life action batman movies, this version of Bruce last suit is definitely the most advanced from everyone we have seen. His suit has C4, laser wielder, bulletproof cape, Bulletproof suit and Cowl, build in control system on batsuit and grapple gun that can extend from his arms. So I think his last suit is probably his version of the Beyond suit. Other than that like said Terry doesn't exist in this timeline and Bruce succeeded in his goal making Gotham crime free.

When he puts his hand on the picture and it is shaking a little I thought of Barbara Gordon’s question to Batman in Arkham Origins and she said “Why do you do what you do?” And then he moves the picture to one side and the retinal scanner processes his I.D. and as the door opens and the lights come on the Batsuit’s and then finally on the modern Batsuit I can hear his voice say. “Because I made a promise!”

As much crap as this movie got, I don't care. I still like it. Could the special effects/CGI have been better? Definitely. There was an abundance of fan service, cameos, a sense of humor and it was a lot of fun. And especially for me, it had heart. Oh, one more thing, emo-Super Girl was way cool.
Aside from the cgi being the most terrible part, the only bad thing about this story to me is just the build up to dark flash and also alternate Barry being the cause of it. I’m just glad it was mostly resolved even though the end didn’t work at all

@@Ahallowproduction well since they told us that they were reworking this movie into a new universe, I was confused on what this story was gonna be about, but it turned out it wasn’t changed at all and they brought in the other Batman to say they altered the universe but overall nothing has changed at all

The movie itself actually had a decent premise and even decent acting, Keaton really carries it. It's sad really. If only they gave it more production value it could have been absolutely awesome.
This is why the batman is so refreshing to see something stand on its own compared to these mcu /dceu shitty films

If he hadn't been around or idiot Zaslav hadnt taken over things would have been much different we would have gotten a true Flashpoint paradox like the comics , but James Gunn in his goofy ass way has to put his stamp of crap on everything now. WB will not gety money ever until Gunn and Safran are gone. DCU is dead on arrival folks . But good luck
