I watched your video in detail. I figured out that I never needed to remove the windshield wiper assembly from the Arm it sits on. I simply found the correct end to release it from and remove the old one and inserted the new one. On the Volvo, I worked on, when I released the holding clip all I had to do is pull it straight up. It took me less than two minutes to complete it.

Yeah, super easy job and less expensive than replacing the whole assembly. I removed them hoping to show better detail of the unit.

Thanks, other videos showed how to take the blade off the car but not how to change the blade refill.

You said "swiss car" for me as a swede it is very important the you distinguish Sweden from Switzerland :) Volvo is a Swedish car. It is Chinese owned but very much developed in Sweden and the headquarters are still in Gothenburg Sweden

Thank you for correcting me. I know there is a difference between Switzerland and Sweden, but I got caught with a slip of the tongue.

I hate the Volvo wipers. Only 4 week old car and had them replaced, cleaned the windshield with everything after I put RAIN X and I regretted it. So I removed it never stopped skipped

You may find this hard to believe...BUT .. my 06 XT is still on the original factory wiper blades. Once a year I wipe them over with AT205 , the stuff Scotty Kilmer is always flogging. I use it on all of the rubber parts of the XT.. Not a single wind noise from any of the window seals. The Australian Sun can really damage Rubber components constantly exposed to the Sun.

in EU. 200€ for whole blade, 60€ for only volvo rubber frpm volvo dealer, but i found one german company which sell only rubber for 10€. it is insane that is this hard to find replacement for stupid wipers, because even rubber have different height, only 10mm.

@@DIYEVERYTHING like he said, all you have to do is replace the rubber inserts. I just replaced mine a couple months ago. Very easy to do too. I got the set from IPD for $29 (US). I'll try to post the link separately in case YT deletes it.
Update...they did delete it 😂 Just search "2019 volvo s60 wiper blade replacement"

And don't buy any parts from the dealer unless you got money to burn. You can find most parts at Viva Performance, IPD, FCP Euro, or Tasca Parts.
