Man, this is so true. My divorce left me homeless and alone in another country, but I took charge and also became a "Responsibilocrat". No bitterness, I just kept moving forward. I won't lie, in the beginning, it was tough, almost fell into depression, but kept busy. I was blessed enough to get a second chance; a restart. I admit a lot of it had to do with the way I was raised. For the ones who didn't have the father I had, have you! More men should take charge and not play the self-pity card. You are doing amazing work, George, helping out many people. Love having the Daybreak show back. Have a wonderful day!
Great feedback brother. It definitely stings bad at 1st and there is a stage of bitterness you go through. You doubt yourself. You struggle with what you could have done to "save the marriage".
The best overall outcome for divorced men come from those guys who quickly move on, learn from past mistakes, and focus on becoming the very best version of themselves. Post-divorce they: travel solo, get in the best shape of their lives (even post 60 years of age), take great care of themselves, pursue diverse passions (cars, motorcycles, fishing, ice hockey, painting, etc.). Many post- divorce guys have an “a-ha” moment and say “I should have done this years ago”. The older guys (50+) who are in great shape and have their lives together are in the “Super Bowl” of their dating lives. They attract very beautiful, playful women. Just my two cents through a divorce lawyer’s lens. Great video!
Ha this spoke to me. When I got divorced the first thing I did was went to the gym and lost 60 lbs. It was so good for my mental health. I too waffled over buying Christmas gifts for her. Habits good or bad die hard, ultimately I stuck with just the weights. Good advice!
Good morning Mr. Bruno, Todays my 21st birthday and i wanted to thank you for helping mold me into the man today. Been a supporter for going on 3 or 4 years and never want the content to stop!
Been divorced for just about a year now. The best thing I've done this past year is build a vision for my future and I now I'm starting to go after it. Definitely the new version of me. The old version was not worth saving. I am open to marriage again but at this moment I'm excited and busy for the next steps towards that vision. Each step forward is a step closer to that foundation which will make a healthy marriage/fatherhood/new business/single-life/monk-mode possible. Thank you for the encouragement. I credit you with showing us an example of what is possible. Cheers!
I feel for anyone who has gone through divorce. It’s tough on so many levels and sucks the life right out of you . However , there are many things to be said about fresh starts .
Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you want, & I can’t thank you enough for sharing yours that has given you your wisdom; life experiences that you’ve greatly learned from. I’m 27 & the past 2 years of my own, including a near-death coma, has greatly taught me confirming all of what you speak about.
Been going to the gym regularly for 2 weeks now! So happy that gyms have reopened in my area. Working to get strong and keep this a routine for the long run!
Thanks George for talking about how being emotional around people can change them. My daughters witnessed some of my emotions during my wife’s affair. I can’t get that time back. Thanks for addressing.
I have went through this at 24 and have take the betterment path. Its been 2 years and im happier then I have ever been. But I still needed to hear this. Thank you.
No divorce for me but my Wife died 5.5 years ago. Guys listen to this video! I tried to date under the old blue pill then when that didn’t work I had to go to work on myself. Work work work and don’t stop. Fight and claw, read listen and write. God has never left me. Forgive your wife if you got hurt but remember you were responsible for the marriage you were in. It’s been a ride but this video is a reminder of how far I’ve come.

Good morning, George! I'm a college student from Wisconsin, and I frequently enjoy listening to the words of wisdom you share in the mornings. Thank you for always giving me something for my brain to chew on every day!
You're absolutely correct. It's very important for men to recognize their own nature. Coming face to face with the reality of my own nature has saved me from potentially disastrous decision making. Great video, George.
No valentines no birthday soon to be no mother’s day , fuck all that, I’m expecting nothing in return. I ran the hampster wheel for 20 years, she left, kids think I’m an ass (I was at times maybe) but i threw it down for the family . I never wanted a damn Nobel prize , being seen would have been enough but was always just not good enough and a let down. Kids are grown she left it sucks but not so much I’m getting there, thanks so much for the videos. God bless!
Good morning. Late morning today, but regardless the sun is up and I see another day of opportunity to be better than who I was yesterday. I would try making cowboy coffee, but I have no coffee grounds due to the overwhelming convenience of the keurig. The pre-heated heavy cream is indeed a game changer and has improved the flavor immensely.
Thank you Mr. Bruno for this episode. Very informative. It felt I was asking my father for advice. Getting divorced soon. You are helping me being on course. Thank you again sir.
The amount of clarity i get from this channel is ridiculous. You're very No bullshit, just the truth. Thank you. Im 22 years old but am separated (got married at 20) and it's been extremely difficult severing that bond, and that was only after 2 years. Can't imagine what it would be like if it were much longer than that. Still fcking sucks. Anyways, it's enlightening to know despite how lackluster and crippling it all seems now, there is still hope that I can still improve things for myself and consequently everyone else.
2 years ago I found you. You started a series Friday night I think called 'What you go through after divorce'. I have dated since but im also happy alone and not bitter. Thank you for guiding me through the hell tunnel sir. You are saving lives.
I have had a divorce in my past. I made the choice to simply accept that I was a man that had a divorce, but I am not a Divorced Man. The first is a simple statement of a fact, and the latter is a badge that some choose to wear. A divorce does mot define me as a person. I define me as a person by my actions.
I agree so much. I'm 50 and have been separated for 9 years. My life finally began this year. Everything you said holds true Mr. Bruno. I may now even join another gym, why not? Lol
Responsibilicrat. I find that in inventorying my responsibilities, the one area I had to work on was enforcing boundaries and not expecting the group, the law or any community elders to do it. Good point on delaying emotions until later. I'm dealing with the "later". Beats disassociating as the consequences of that play out and then you have more consequences. Learning what the signs of trouble are and the weaknesses in my upbringing are my responsibilty. Only sure reward is that I live an honest life surrounded by those that respect my needs and boundaries. Damn....typing that was cathartic in it's own right.
Watching this from 36,000 feet on my way back from much more liberating Puerto Morelos 🇲🇽 to fear & loathing masked Philly. Great message George! I'm 46 with a 6 year-old daughter. 2nd wife decided to divorce. I could easily become bitter what with the way 2020 has been plus I am fighting cancer for 3 years but NOT GOING TO BE LIKE THAT! Is The Sultan also a fan of a certain TH-cam real life Cowboy?
I’d send the estranged wife a xerox Christmas letter. No gift, no card but maybe the most distant thing you can, a xerox Christmas letter, the thing you send to distant acquaintances. That is if you feel the need to. Insult her. The absolute best thing to send her is nothing but give yourself a finalized divorce a start the next phase of life with her holding you back.
Life now is weird because I'm aware that red pills capitalize on warning against marriage. But I'm also aware after marrying young and getting divorced that marriage are some of the best year of life.
Attempted cowboy coffee. For my first try it was pretty good. A bit weak, but I just think I added too much water. No worries. I'll keep at it and eventually get it down.

Talking about Cowboy coffee....Kent Rollins taught me about it. He has a great channel dedicated to cowboy cooking. Check him out, he is a 21st century cowboy cookie who goes out on the range and cooks for cattle drivers. Pretty nifty.
I guess it all depends on who you are divorcing, it could be a day of freedom from a selfish person a prisoned contract, no sex, no nothing physical, mental or emotional ect or if you spent quality time and resources and have a family it will be a big transition depending how long youve lived a married life, this also gives opportunities to work on your self and not become devastated by the courts, subjection to child support, alimony, property, financial accounts, assets ect that you may have to give from not being in a marriage.
I grew up in the 1990s, seemed like divorce was common. Even as a kid, I could tell something was off about marriage (and the reasons for people to get married). I have never been married and I think I dodged a bullet. I do not have the emotional intelligence or the desire for a long term relationship. I am too much of an asocial hobbit to comprimise or desire to live with someone else. As far as I can tell, marriage made a lot of sense in the past (before birth control, before feminism, when all roles were traditional). In a traditional society, getting married and staying married was thought of as a normal thing to do, as normal as drinking coffee in the morning. However, Everything is transactional in the modern world. When women are in the peak of their beauty, they hook up with very good looking me or atleast the best looking men they can attract, because that is what they are in the market for. In fact, everyone is going for, the best they can get in the dating market. If modern dating is just a game of finding the best sexual partner, for the time being, until I am old and then ready to settle down for companionship ( I sounds like modern women, doesn't it?), then I see relationships as just casual flings
I do need help George. I need to email you. I'm extremely introverted and lately I can't go around any people other than family (girlfriend, grandma, dad.) I don't really know what else to say I'll email you.

Divorce was indeed the worst thing that ever happened to me... as a child, going through my parents'. As an adult, I have the privilege of making my own fuckups. I actually like the pig heads, but I have a story behind that I'll tell ya some day. Edit: Can I put Responsibilocrat on my voter registration?
George Bruno? What was your world view when you were in your 20s? I mean you were 26 when Woodstock happened. Were you into hippies? Did you have a idea of your future? Did you think you'd be where you are today?
Responsiblicrat means taking full responsibility for oneself regardless of circumstances. I get it Sultan, but the problem w this when having dealt with the lying cheating narcissist who secretly cucked you by bopping your x-best friend over the years is, that every decision you ever made until you found out “the truth” was made on false pretenses. If you had only known the hard truth, every decision would’ve been different i.e., to your favor, rather than theirs. But since life is a one way street and you can’t go back and you must live w yourself, the person you became is the product of your bad decisions made on false pretenses. It’s a lot like losing 20 years of lieF for having been wrongly convicted. Imagine what you could’ve accomplished but never will. How does one reconcile this??
I'm going to sound simplistic to some. You DECIDE to have a new life and new way of thinking. Recreate yourself using the lessons of the past and don't let fear, anger. or bitterness rule your thought making process
George , you and everyone reading this needs to go to Three Hearts Church on you tube and watch the Coronavirus series they are on part 25, so it starts at part 1 and is now at 25 any that you can't see on you tube means they have been deleting by the powers at hand, but you can watch them on there website which you can find on the you tube ones. It is a Christian view of what is happening and it is compelling, I hope I can hear back from people who check it out ,you will get a whole lot if information from it
