Thank you so much for the love in these kind words! It’s definitely a struggle, and I’m still not the best, but I’m learning more and more every day! I’m happy to be able to share that with you!
I love how excited you are about this, makes me so happy! ☺️ so happy the acne game is always moving forward! Even though my acne days are gone I know how hard it was to manage, so great to know people now have more options also can’t believe it’s under 15$ that’s great! This video made me so happy to watch cause you are so happy 😁
I hope a lot of skincare youtubers get inspired by how you present so much scientifically backed up information than just blabbering opinions which may mislead consumers. Love you Cassandra!
Cassandra: If you've studied biochemistry or medicine, you may look at this and it might sound familiar. Me, a former culinary student: Ah, zucchini! yes, it sounds familiar.
Can you make a “What Nobody Will Tell You About Truly Beauty” I found some shady details that I think people should know about, and I feel your platform is beneficial. They used to be Truly Organic and got sued because they weren’t FDA approved so they changed to Truly Beauty. Also the website says to look to the box of the products for the ingredient list because they change their ingredients (a lot) but I think it’s king of unethical to only put the key ingredients on the back of the box and not clarify that there are way more ingredients. I personally bought their eye cream to reduce puffiness, and on the ingredients list (box) the first ingredient is Aloe Vera and water isn’t even listed, which was a huge turn on. I was disappointed because the product didn’t work the way I was hoping. I was so upset, I thought I would never fix my puffiness. I was almost relieved when I found out that it wasn’t the true ingredients list because it meant I might still have a chance. The first ingredient is water and second is coconut oil, which explains why my eyes were worse than before. I also left reviews on some products and my rave reviews got published but my bad reviews didn’t. I also went to delete my rave review on the rose water because I saw the full ingredients list and I wanted to take back everything I said. I wasn’t able to delete my review either. I think people should be aware of these things. I do however still like their hair masks and body lotions. But I don’t trust their skincare.
yes!! especially since cass recommended one of their products in the description box of one of her most recent videos. they also lied about being vegan - that was the main part of their lawsuit!
My daily skin care routine morning Paula's choice BHA, hylauronic acid lotion hada lado, niacinamide the ordinary, azelaic acid the ordinary, cerave moisturiser. In the evening I swap out the bha as use adapolene after moisturiser and wash skin with cerave foaming cleanser or do a double clean if wearing makeup. My question is where do I slot this product in and if I can remove any items. I have acne prone combination skin. Thanks. Appreciate all your wonderful advice xx
@@eva_pe Hi tolerate products pretty well as my skin is extremely used to adapolene, and BHA's. Also attended a dermatologist numerous times for in clinic strong facial peels for acne scarring. I've had acne for around 20 years and it is mostly under control. I incorporated Paula's Choice BHA as adapolene was not cutting it and frequent breakouts were occurring around the jaw line. I may have gained benefit from higher strength adapolene but choose this route for now. This of course is only a topical measure, however I have tried a variety of oral herbal options as feel my acne is most likely hormonal. Although, it can be difficult to pinpoint and gain results without these topical surface fixes. I also try to exercise daily and reduce stress which has help emensly working holistically with my body. I should also reduce sugar...this sadly is a weakened and work in progress as well as cutting out majority of cows dairy preferring goats as it's more easily digested and tolerated personally as well as less mass produced and hormone containing. I have tried coconut milk with good results but found it more difficult to source during Covid.
Today, after 2 weeks using it I have truly seen the change this product has made on my pimples. Is not magic but it sure makes a difference, reduces the inflamation which at the same time avoid my hyperpigmentation. I have found that rubbing in makes it more successful. Also, is not irritating at all, which I love.

I developed acnes on new year this year. I have never had acnes before and I’m 30 now and have no idea how to deal with it . It definitely has affected my confidence. I will definitely give this a go
Same thing happened to me. No issues with acne at all growing up. Turned 30 and boom, full cystic acne all around my face. Confidence took a huge hit. Dealing with the hyperpigmentation aftermath now. The entire bottom half of my face is a completely different colour than the rest of my face. :(

Now I'm EXTRA bummed that I just did a Sephora order of some Inky list items yesterday and didn't wait a day so I could add this product to my order! I got the Niacinamide oil control serum and the BHA blemish + blackhead serum and am super excited to incorporate them into my routine and see how they work! I LOVE how informative their brand is and I really feel like the focus is on educating rather than just blindly selling. I also LOVE how the bottles say what time of day to use each product and where in your routine the item would fit in. I may have to do another order just to try out this new product! I can FEEL your genuine excitement and that's motivation enough for me to try it out too!

As soon as I saw the color I was like "looks like salicylic acid" and then I found out I was right. Yes salicylic acid is awesome but given the ingredient list there is nothing innovative about this product...
When someone brings up science, why does it make people automatically want to contradict? I was thinking at least some commenting viewers would have some experience with the product to share to complete the their contempt. I found your video intriguing and it brought back some of my biochemistry knowledge that I haven't used in years. Alcohol is listed as an "Inactive ingredient" in Nyquil. I suspect alcohol actively helps put the sick to sleep. I don't usually watch sponsored videos. However, I admire your enthusiasm and respect the experience & science you share. I am planning on giving this product a try. Thank you! 💙
I paused halfway through to buy this! It’s brand of the month on cultbeauty at the moment, so shipping is currently free. I’m very excited for it to arrive- I currently have plenty of blemishes to test it out on 😂 Thank you for the thorough review x

well, it’s been two years, but how did it work?
You are spoiling us today Cass and I'm not mad 😁❤️
Thank you so much for your content. You introduced me to skincare on TH-cam. Now I watch James Welsh, Hyram and Lab muffin beauty science and you. And I love the overall vibe of the skincare community. You 're all so supportive of each other! Soo inspiring thanks 😊
As soon as I saw the color I was like "looks like salicylic acid" and then I found out I was right. Yes salicylic acid is awesome but given the ingredient list there is nothing innovative about this product...
Just when I was looking for a spot treatment that was salicylic acid based. I'm willing to try it!
Your skin looks so good ! 🤍🤍
AH UPLOADING EVERYDAY! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ❤️🔥
Thank you! 💙
I KID YOU NOT, I was literally just studying for a test on the krebbs cycle😂 Cassandra you mind reader
Your tips are so helpful and I love your speech and eloquence in every video, stan!♥️😍

Looks amazing !! Thanks for this video, very interesting 😊 I wish this product was available in France tho
I paused halfway through to buy this! It’s brand of the month on cultbeauty at the moment, so shipping is currently free. I’m very excited for it to arrive- I currently have plenty of blemishes to test it out on 😂 Thank you for the thorough review x
