@@Roo_Tech Yeah I know, but I think it would make more sense that the intake would be on the back as well. If you can't get an even amount of intake and exhaust fans, then it should be positive pressure (more intake than exhaust).

I’m about to get a nice $3k bonus from my work. My job isn’t that nice, no career opportunities. I’m pretty much relying entirely on learning programming. I want to buy a pc, I have an understand of the components themself, but I don’t know what’s best. Any advice? It would be cool for my pc to double for gaming as well.

Here’s something’s you should know. 1. Any motherboard can be used for gaming. But if you have enough money, buy a gaming motherboard for like 100 bucks.
      2. You need fans. More cooling in your pc = no overheating (duh)
      3. Don’t get a cheap cpu. I’m getting a Intel Core i7-3770S next month. Sense you have 3k, get something that’s better than that.
      5. A hard disk drive can be slower than an ssd, but can be cheaper and have more storage. And ssd is faster, but more expensive. HDD = slower but more space
      SSD= faster but more expensive
      6. When getting fans, you should have more intake fans than exhaust, positive pressure is better then negative pressure. I have one exhaust fan in the back, 3 intake in the front (or bottom, or top)
      6. Depending on all of your pc parts, you might need a powerful PSU. I can’t really explain it, but just use a psu calculator to find out how much wattage you need for you psu.
      7. Get ram with DDR5. It’s better than DDR4 ram.
      8. Know what socket type your mother board has. An 1155 socket cannot be compatible with a cpu that is not a 1155 cpu.
That’s all I can say for now. If you have any questions you can ask me (what I told you is just basic knowledge, I probably won’t know the complicated stuff)

@@misatoroofnewspedoexposer4205 I’m trying to get a system builder for windows 11 right now but i’ve got it all together. My current parts:
      Ryzen 7 7800x3d
      Radeon rx 7800 xt
      Got 4 fans
      32gb of Ddr5-6000 ram (g.skill flare f5)
Gigabyte b650 x ax gaming motherboard.
I forgot my SSD specs but it’s m.2 so easy to install.
I’m struggling to get windows 11 on a hard drive to actually boot the pc. I didn’t realize I needed another computer to install the OS (otherwise spending $140 on the license)
Other than that, I have a red light over my DRAM LED, but when I check in bios, it reads my 2x16gb ram sticks fine. Not sure if this is something I can ignore.

@@misatoroofnewspedoexposer4205a 100 dollar Mobo, for a 3k build? You need to pay atleast 200 USD for the Mobo to be even compatible with ddr5 ram.
