❤i Love your Planning the Trip
At one point your video showed masts dancing to the tune of the wind......for a moment I thought there was somebody swinging in a bosun's chair.......Wow, I thought, those Nederlanders are tough cookies......they deal with routine maintenance during a storm!!!!😮
🤣 there are people who do…
Meer dan een stijve bries..This was a very nasty storm...."Loveworkx" did very well...!!!
Zij verzekeren wereldwijd.
That was a very nice video, thanks
Thank you for your lovely comment
Ijmuiden is really exposed! It looked nasty. Thanks for the video.
Yes it was nasty also with all the sand.
I remember taking a Southerly RS42 to Ijmulden for the Boat Show. Very windy passing Dover. Got in to our destination as the wind was picking up. Next morning, all the yachts were covered in sand from the beach.
Ah so you know how the sand affects your boat
Good to see that your "Loveworkx" did well in this nasty storm. I was surprised to see that some boats had their sails still hosted. Stay safe.
Thanks! Yes a lot of the roller furler sails where coming loose
We have in okinawa typhoons ,your just into a good gale …wait till you see over 100 knts ,and i still stay on board my yacht
I stay on my boat during the hurricanes here in Florida as well. I have a hurricane hole where I can spider web lines in the mangroves and ride it out. The marina can be a rough place on boats.
Wow that sounds amazing!
Hi all! I hope you're enjoying this episode. If you are, please subscribe. It really helps me and my channel. I'm looking forward to your responses. Much love, Jacqueline
Newbie subscriber here. I really find your channel so inspirational in the fact that you are following your dream. Love your little boat, what make is she?
So nice that you are following. Looking forward to all your lovely comments. It is a Grinde. On my website I share more information: sailing.loveworkx.com/grinde/
OMG WInd And Sand, what a bad combination.. I wish you a very save journey... You have had the most worse wind i hope.
Thanks. I found sand on my boat even after six months. Also needed to redo the winch maintenance.
Same in SUEZ canal, sand and more sand 😥 when going through
Yes there must be a lot of sand! It is difficult to get it of the boat
Dank!
He leuk! ❤
@@sailingloveworkx C'est tout dingue ça
Wat een storm was het
..
Ja ongelooflijk
Is your boat a grinder 27'?!
Yes it is a Grinde. More info is on my website: sailing.loveworkx.com
What are these bounderies you're checking?
In software you can set boundaries around eg windmill parks. So that the navigation software makes a route around those boundaries. In the channel with sandbanks, windmills and shippinglanes there are a lot of place in which you cannot sail
@@sailingloveworkx I'm aware of these, yet I understood they had something to do with the weather. I've motor-sailed from Dover to IJmuiden (in three legs) during calm weather and crossed the shipping lanes (at as close as 90 degrees as possible).
This is not F11, sorry.
It was in all the newspapers…
If you come over to japan contact me
Thanks! I would love to go there. But unfortunately not now.
