Just FYI, the fans from the 07-13s cool better, bolt right in, and they have 28" and 34" radiators. So if your 99-04 has a 28" radiator, you don't HAVE to replace it with a 34" if you don't want to. You can just use fans for an 07-13 with the 28" radiator.
How do you have the enable and disable speed at? My tuner set them at 30 enable and 35 disable. I think it is wrong because when I’m at cruising speed in the freeway my temps go to 225 and at idle back to normal at 205-208. Something not right
turn on and off temps should be much higher, thermostat opens at 186, so about 200-210 for low speed and 225 for high speed, and also speed turn off needs to be set probably 30+mph.
I ended up just wiring in a switch. The harness I bought wasn’t acting rite kept making my clutch cycle on and off and the fan would go high then low constantly.
If you turn just Fan1 one on manually in the HP Scanner vehicle controls does it run the fan at all? I can hear the relay click but nothing runs. If i turn on just Fan 2 (one fan runs). Fan 2 + 1 runs both fans. seems like something might be wrong with my setup.
One day I saw a Chevy with the fans but the tune was something else those fans were jet spending fast as heck is that possible to tune them those settings or it just was different kind of fans ??
does any one knows if this harness has a ignition cable because my has the blue, green, and positive and other two wires i know one is ground but the other i dont know what it is.
Do you have the 105 amp alternator with the efans?, Or do you have a higher amp alternator, if so how big of an alternator do you have with the efans? Thankyou for the video, Greatly appreciated
I just swapped out my radiator for a 34" with a BP Automotive harness. Minimum recommended alternator is a 145 amp. That's what my truck has but I am going to upgrade it soon.
Hi., do both fans come on low speed for low temp, then both fans on high for high temp? Or doe one fan come on high for low temp, then the other come on high speed for high temp? Really need to know!!, thanks for share this video.
@@jimmyramirez8844if yours is a 00-02 then pin 33 is for ac recirculate, you can pull that wire out and install the other fan wire so you can tune fans for low and high speed! Look up lsx Matt on u tube and he explains how that can be wired!
@@FullTiltProformance I just ordered the same cam. Did you tune the truck yourself? Also was it difficult? I've been watching a lot of tuning tutorials and its a bit overwhelming. 😬
I hooked it up as you did, exactly the same. But when I start the truck the passenger fan is on high running (with the ac off) I turn the ac fan to 1 and it cuts the fan off and the fan doesn’t come back on, it only runs when the ac is off in the truck and it runs on high

Truck sounds good.
is this a kit from somewhere or is this factory harness for fans? i'm looking to move to electric to gain some more clearance and have better cooling.
Thank you for the information
Thanks for the info, could you tell me the number of the upper radiator hose you have on this vehicle? n I need one like this for my S10, thanks

What version hp tuners you’re using?
No enseñaste como conectar los pines de la computadora y como localisarlos y es nesesario programar y donde encontramos el programa???
What engine did you put in ?
I ended up just wiring in a switch. The harness I bought wasn’t acting rite kept making my clutch cycle on and off and the fan would go high then low constantly.
The harness I bought came with 2 ecu plus a green wire and a black one that go into the ecu
I did the swap but only the passenger side turns on at 195 and when the AC is on. Is that normal?
Who did your tuning? Do i have to buy that HP tuner dongle for $400?

Had the same thing, my fan I had to smack it and it started spinning, the fan might be going out

There’s 3 diff setting low both fans, medium and what you saw was both high.

you missed one step that im missing as well how do you turn them on with the ac ?
Set the fans on analog

also wondering this, im about to buy a 140 amp alternator. i’ll rather be safe than sorry if not maybe 160 if it’s an option
Should consider the 140A alternator or larger if you intend to add any additional lighting, audio, etc

Yes they both come on for low temp at a lower speed and high temp as well.
Hello can u run 2007-2013 fans on this trucks with the same harness?
In series! Amigo! Just like 07+ Trucks do
Love it, can you run two switched fans with your ecm? Two pin outs?
@@ls_johnny I'm running a E38 but that ecm also has two Fan pinouts. Thank you

Did your ac work without any issues?
Wondering the same. I did this for my son’s truck now his A/C isn’t working…gots get it fixed, late July and it’s HOT!
Size of radiator?
34 inches towing option I think the base is 28
So you only need to do pin 42 on blue?
And 33green
My pin 33 has a green already in it?

Fun fact... the tuner cost as much as a custom tune.... and they will tune other things too if you want 👍

Same issue I had crappy wiring harness they say test before installing. I messed up and installed everything and just wired in a switch
Was it a crappy wiring harness I have the same issue?
If only 1 fan its working hi or low! There’s something weong! Fans should tun on at low both!!! Then at hi temp, both on hi speed
