Me too,Frazier is my comfort blanket program, so funny and intelligent . I think his voice is wonderful, he is never rushed or strident so sensual and calm, he could read a telephone book and I would listen. Xxx
Oh I want more! I have long-adored Mr. Grammer. His brilliance as an actor, both comedic & dramatic. His profoundly beautiful, speaking voice; so alluring, soothing, comforting. His wise, warm, witty character. A polite gentleman of taste. Such class. Truly the perfect word to describe him. "Class." Pure... Class.💕
"We're royalty. But I didn't want you to grow up spoiled, so I abdicated and took a job in Seattle on the police force. It was kinda hard giving up that royal way of life, but I think maybe it's the swans that I miss most."
Because of this show, I have taken up the search for lost family and have been able to put my tree together all the way back to the third wave of Colonists and back further to the 1400's in Amsterdam! Thank you for the inspiration!
Same. It was a bullet you can’t put back in the weapon. I sat stunned at the information then went and got the dna test to see and Dna verified the facts. Unreal how I’m even alive
My mom started doing genealogy in 1984. Luckily my maternal great grandparents were still alive. They were a great help with family names and where they live/died. My mom has gotten both sides of our family back to before they came to the colonies. Her family and my dad's family were here in the colonies at least 100 years before the American Revolution. My dad has an ancestor who served under George Washington. We aren't sure if it was directly or not but pretty sure they knew each other.
Wow!! I have the utmost respect for you I will never look at cheers or Frasier the same. You are brilliant. Cheers to you my brother!! Thank you my heart goes out to you and Kelsey. I TOO WILL MISS HER. THANK YOU THANK YOU. God be with you always. Donny
He has the most beautiful male voice...and it doesn't help I adore FRASIER, refusing to see him in any other dimension! Guess that's how you live forever...
My husband's family followed a similar path as Kelsey's grandmother's family. My mother in law was raised by a single mother during the 30s because her husband was a raging alcoholic. Sadly, Kelsey's sister was murdered.
I've always thought it was spooky how much Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce look as though they could be brothers in real life. There are photos here of Kelsey as a young man and he looks rather like David Hyde Pierce.
If Kelsey Grammer should read this, there is a "Dimmick Inn" located in Pennsylvania, and as your kin came from the East Coast (Connecticut I believe is what was stated) this could lead you to another branch on your tree. I really enjoyed the process you went through, though you are much further into your exploration than I have been able to achieve. My Father was an alcoholic, and I think most of us, his children, wished he would have abandoned us and Mom, but who knows, sometimes better the devil you know.
I always liked Kelsey. He's a great actor and seems like a genuinely good guy. This is really interesting. I would love to do this with my family tree.
He labelled Ellis a Louse. Seems to me Ellis married Genevieve so her child wasn't born out of wedlock, especially if the math works out that he married her while pregnant. The 8 years until the divorce may well have been to maintain the legal/social protection for the child. Just saying. He gave the child a name, which mattered in that day.
The accusations against Ellis are suspect. The idea that Genoveve wasn't Ellis's daughter never even occurred to either party. The offspring might have been that o another man and that might be the reason for Ellis leaving. I am not saying it is the reason,I am saying it maybe the reason. No one knows. So don't dumon the dead guy unless you know. Speculation isn't knowing. The is a reason why judaism follows. Maternal line. You always know who the mother is, not so with the father.
Yup. Also, do we know if Genevieve was a good woman to live with. A nag is an awful mate. Since Grandmother be ever mentioned her, it does not cast a good light on her
I was searching my family tree and discovered Kelsey Grammer is my 11 th cousin on my mother's side. His father and my mother are direct descendants of Lt Samuel Fellmonger III and Elizabeth Van Vechten. Evangeline Dimmick is my 10th cousin on my mother's side the Huckabay's. They are direct descendents of Rev Henry Robinson and Elizabeth Orvice.
I believe that this is one of the scariest things to do in your life, letting an actor drive you around. You never know what they might do. Hehe hehe hehe hehe hehe! I ♥︎’d that laugh..lol
I don't know nothing about both sides of my family except for the Lee's..... I know that I'm related to General Lee and Jefferson Davis but he is related to George Washington,he married his step granddaughter
I know who I am but I have no clue who most of my family are. I have no clue who my mother is, I have no clue who any of my grandparents are, have never met any aunts uncles cousins or anything like that. As for my father I never had a good relationship with him either and he never cared to fill in any of the blanks. The whole family thing has always been this alien world to me, it was something everybody else did. I'm in my 60's now and I find the older I get the less I care about digging into any of that. Most of it is dead and buried now and it's probably best to leave it buried.
I’m an author and an editor. My sister and I would be correct if it’s in the subjective part of the sentence. In the predicate part, it’s my sister and me. If you can take away the other person and leave me and it makes sense, then it’s “and me”. In this case , it is in the predicate, so it’s “raising my sister and me”. You would never say “raising I”.
@Paul Judkins And upstanding guy...who supports a pornstar-screwing, six-time bankrupt criminal who mocks disabled people and thinks you can nuke hurricanes? There's no such thing. The inconvenient truth is that if you support Trump you lose the right to refer to yourself as an 'upstanding guy'. You know it.
He has the most beautiful speaking voice, and such kind eyes.
I absolutely agree with you. I adore kelsey.❤❤❤

@@Bibblesupremacy1992 And yet... YOU were attracted here to Mr. Grammer. Hmmm...???🤔
Kelsey seems like such a lovely man. I love watching him on film or television - he’s got such a dignified and easy presence about him.
Following along this video, and looking up his grandmother on Family Search, Kelsey and I are distant cousins through his grandmother, Genevieve. ♥️
As am I, through his grandfather Gordon.
Cool 😎

This story did not disappoint. This was a beautiful and sad one. I have always loved Kelsey Grammer. Thankyou sir for sharing your story.

Not because of this show, but I did a search for my father. Found him passed away but also found 3 half sisters

My husband's family followed a similar path as Kelsey's grandmother's family. My mother in law was raised by a single mother during the 30s because her husband was a raging alcoholic. Sadly, Kelsey's sister was murdered.
Yep, that featured on Lt Joe Kenda's Homicide Hunter series.
I've always thought it was spooky how much Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce look as though they could be brothers in real life. There are photos here of Kelsey as a young man and he looks rather like David Hyde Pierce.
Thought that as well
That was deliberate, the brief was for someone who was like Frasier but “more” i.e. with exaggerated eccentricities.
Kelsey Grammer is an amazing actor
He is related to Russian Tsar. A family heirloom, a clock, is the proof.
Quel elegance!
“There’s a back aching for the lash!”
“I’m. Moving. As fast as I can!”

Thank you 😁👍😁

I can’t wait to see the new series of the reboot
This is cool. My Dad’s middle name was Ellis and I never saw anyone else by that name. 😊
Very cool!
It seems a lot of us have very similar lives.
My fav comedian... now is it just me or Kelsey's grandad look a lot like the late John Mahoney? 1:38
Its uncanny..
I thought the same thing.
Odd that the researcher didn't suggest he get granny's birth & marriage certificates for parents names.
Maybe she did. Remember, the conversation was edited.
They say be careful climbing up your family tree, you may step on a rotten branch....
Kelsey Grammer Is My Buddy ☺❤I Love Him. Kelsey And I Are Friends Now. He's The Greatest Man
I love Kelsey so much. He is a good man. I feel his pain.
I wonder why they didn't go back more to see who his grandmother was married to, such as the Census in 1905.
Would be fun to see more. Does anyone know how to do that?
I always liked Kelsey. He's a great actor and seems like a genuinely good guy. This is really interesting. I would love to do this with my family tree.
good guys dont cheat on their wife
I'm am related to william Turner the painter on my maternal line
William. Why the problem with capital letters?
The past can be a giant vault of secrets.
Slightly off topic, but the family researcher, Ms. Utley, resembles actress Melissa McCarthy, doesn't she?

8:12 Ellis Dimmick? So his name could have been called out as "Ellis D."?
Also his starring roles in Star Trek the Next Generation.
Question: Does Kelsey have the same roots as Sideshow Bob (Terwilliger)?
My brother in law looks so much like him 😂.
I hope they know we look for them.
His sister Karen was murdered by POC in Colorado springs Colorado and was featured on Homicide Hunter with Joe Kenda.
So where us the rest of it?
I’m surprised they didn’t go back to their European roots. They don’t mention which country they came from.
2 May 2013😮

Not at all
I had an English Teacher in 8th grade that did, but K.G doesn't.

Kelsey’s accent though 💔
Khalid Shimmari His voice...the timbre, the velvet quality, the slight rasp....💕

Already can Tell English and welsh.
Duuuuhhh...
Welsh. First letter should be capitalised.🏴
His Mother looks like Gwyneth Paltrow so much.
Just when I was into it, it ends‼️
Stigma was overwhelming, Church, family and community would shun you.
His father looked like Orson Wells
It’s interesting to see where arrogance comes from
Didn't do so well, and became disenchanted.
The TV show success also has a way with euphemism.

Didn't Kelsey Grammer also desert his wife and child for his current wife ? Yet, he judges his great-grandfather who deserted his wife.
Hello Anne
How are you doing today?
Hypocrisy is fun!!!!
Who knows the truth? He did nod to the news making stories.
Let the one without sin
Throw the first stone
Kind of like you’re judging him?
Raising my sister & I not me and my sister.
You forgot the comma...it is "raising me", not "raising I".
"...raising my sister and ME..."

Maybe she deserved it. You don't know the context.
Maybe not. Camille was hell on wheels. lol

Well, good for him he can afford it.

Yes. That put me off him. A lifelong Republican - I'd have had no problem with that. But then to get on the Trump bandwagon too? Nope. No thanks.
