Jackie, thank you for the gift of this lovely pattern❤. You have incredible style and it is so helpful to see the ways you wear it even though we find our own style 😊
Jackie, everything you make is magic! You are such an inspiration to me. Your combination of handknits and fashion is unmatched! I want to make everything you create! ❤❤❤
I love watching your videos. You have a wonderful sensibility and a warm kindness which shines through in all that you do. I love the Soho Square. It’s a wonderful way of expressing oneself by choosing the colors which inspire you. I believe that I can easily translate it to loom knitting. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas.
The perspective you bring to what it means to knit and create is so empowering and affirming. It brings forward a whole new world of possibilities for the making process. The connections you make between your life experiences and what knitting means to you is beautiful. Thank you!
Jackie- loving this even more than the half and half❤. What an awesome creation and I out it on my needles immediately. Losing my dad to a brain tumor in July was more than devastating, heartbreaking and life altering. This knit brings me comfort, solace, a place to cry, and a time to remember and reminisce about my dad as his only child, his princess. Thank you for your passion, love, compassion, realness, honesty and sharing of yourself. Cannot wait to see you again in NY in a few weeks on the hill. ❤️❤️
So enjoyed this video, Jackie. All the different ways you show to style your gorgeous Soho Square design, along with the colours you've chosen to knit your samples - all just so very inspiring. I have picked out my colours after a bit of a stash dive and now can't wait to cast on the scarf version. Although I also have plans for many winks, as I have lots of small amounts of beautiful hand dyed mohair that I just can't bring myself to get rid of. And now I don't have to as they will live on as winks! But you know, I think the thing I loved most about this video was, as always, your heartfelt and deeply honest storytelling. The way you narrate your knits, and the ways in which they live in you as you knit them, and then through you as you wear them and share them, so resonates with me. Love your generous heart. Please keep sharing your creativity and your light with the world. It is a brighter and more beautiful place because you do.
Your thoughts and expressions of these wraps was positively seductive, Jackie, and made me truly think about how they can become such an intimate expression of ourselves, in wool. I'm thinking about this Soho Square and the Wink so differently now... thank you for that! Off to look at your lovely pattern now. Cheers, Judith 💜💚
Jackie, love your knits, they are inspired. Please know that even in our darkest times we are never alone. You met your yoga instructor when you got out of the lift after seeing your mum in order for you to see how you can navigate your realisation that you may lose her at any time. By using your carftwork, you have helped many people and touched many more hearts. Sending love and strength to you ❤🙏💖
I love ❤how you combine colors and designs items but more than anything I love 💕 the passion you have for life and life’s beautiful moments. Are you truly beautiful inside and out! 🤗
I am falling down this Half & Half/ SoHo rabbit hole! You are such an inspiration. Being able to turn you pain into beauty is an amazing skill to have. Thank you!
Hi from London… having just watched this I’m absolutely going to start one of these pieces of magic and will see who it ends up belonging to. I loved your story x
Jackie your talent and ability to bring colors together is so good! During your video when you said you didn’t care for your shirt and needed something with strips, I thought strips??? Then you put it together and just wow!!! Beautiful! Thank you for sharing🥰
What a beautiful way to start my day. Listening to your stories, crying then laughing. So cathartic really. I can’t wait to join in the community again of another CadyJax KAL. My first Wink or Wrap will definitely be a gift for a dear friend who is having surgery this week. Thank you for the fashion show and for creating something I can’t wait to make! It also feels so special to watch this today as I am meeting a friend for lunch who I met at the very first Lamb and Kid /CadyJax party. My very first knitting buddy. I’ve waited a long time for one!
Jackie, so exciting to see you’re releasing this pattern/s, congratulations!! There are so many color options, so much fun and chance to create our palettes….and I look forward to purchasing your pattern!
Jackie, you are magical! Your color combinations are just stunning and your attention to all the details is unmatched . I love seeing how you pair your lovely knits with your fashions. I learn something every time. So inspiring! I hope this pattern release is just the beginning. Congratulations!
Thank so much for sharing your vulnerability. I love how you take your experiences and turn them into stitches allowing the project to really be there in that moment in time. I can’t wait to knit the wink with you. Congratulations on such a beautiful pattern 💖
OK, ladies! Now you’ve done it. I have been Binge watching your Podcasts for the past week. I am so glad to have discovered you. I absolutely love the half-and-half triangle Shawl. I will add the Soho Square to my list. Thank you ever so much from your new patron.
I love this shawl and the colors. I can’t wait to buy your pattern and the yarn. Thank you also for including videos, I really wish more designers did this. So helpful.
Swoon! Jackie, the Soho Square is sublime. I can't wait to cast mine on. I, too, find "flow" from the loving repetition of garter stitch and blocks of luscious colour. I am so excited to purchase your new pattern xx
Thank you for a glorious pattern! I cannot wait to get it and I truly loved this video so much. I could feel your emotion as you talked about your mom's diagnosis, and I immediately went to my stash because I'm going thru a tough period right now - mourning a loved one so I'm choosing my palette carefully; not to show sadness but to show how beautiful and colorful she was in life. This is the perfect way to keep her spirit alive forever, so I really Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Timing is everything and your beautiful design and story were just what I needed. I think I'll finally be able to sleep tonight!! Hugs from Texas!!
I was so touched by your videos, the story behind your Soho Square, your mother, your yoga teacher. I had a thought about that tail... perhaps you don't want to weave that tail in because that Soho Square is kind of like a beautiful kite - I could just see it afloat, soaring in the sky, dipping and darting with the wind, its tail dancing behind it. Anyway, I might just get your pattern, knit it up and wrap myself in its beautiful, colorful love.
Can’t wait for the pattern. I wondered if you have other yarn suggestions as both linen quill and birdie are not available in the UK and shipping and import can be quite costly. Beautifully inspiring video 😊❤️
Definitely join Lamb & Kid’s Ravelry Group page, Wink Along will be up Friday, knitters share their substitutions and colors in the chat-always a load of inspiration and fun!
Jackie, absolutely wonderful video and I can't wait to buy the pattern and try it! I did the Half/Half Triangle Wrap and enjoyed doing it with Linen Quill. BTW, these videos are soooo much better with just you in them and I enjoy them so much more than when it's the 2 of you.
Jackie, lost and found story. Last year about this time I ordered the beautiful beaded cupcake earrings that you have worn, as a birthday gift to myself. Three weeks ago I had worn them grocery shopping. One fell off in the store and several employees helped me look for it. No luck. I was so distraught because I LOVED those earrings. The store took my information but I really had no hope of finding the earring. Still, I called them every week, hoping for good news. Yesterday I was in the store and one of the managers came up to me as I was buying a lottery ticket and put something in my hand. It was my lost earring. I got so emotional that one of the other customers thought I had a winning lottery ticket. Amazing outcome after 3 weeks.
This looks amazing and I'm excited to join in and make one too. I prefer a large sized shawl, but I don't knit with linen. Could this be made in the largest size with Birdie?
It could be made with any fiber in any size really. I didn’t want to muddy things with too many options. For now, I would simply sub out Birdie for Linen Quill - use the wrap numbers, maybe on a US 4/5?
This is the first pattern I have published for sale. I didn’t even know that was a possibility. I’m so excited about its release and appreciate the support. Please let me know if you need help buying the pattern.
I’d love to join the KAL for your shawl, but Lamb & Kid seems to be out of most of their Big Birdie, and size 4 and 6 seem a little large to gauge Linen Quill. Any ideas? I knit my half and half on a 3 which gave the perfect fabric. Thanks.
Jackie, I went on Ravelry to purchase your SoHo Square pattern, but couldn’t figure out how to purchase it. Maybe it’s not available yet? Please let me know. Thank you!
Wowsy wow, Soho square wrap is fantastico. But me being from Sweden, how much is 50 square in meters or cm ? When I used Google translated and typed 50 square to m,Google translation said over 7 m 😂😂😂 Anyway thanks for sharing your latest design - masterpiece.🖤💋🤍
Jackie, thank you for the gift of this lovely pattern❤. You have incredible style and it is so helpful to see the ways you wear it even though we find our own style 😊
You are so lovely and I so appreciate how you share yourself so vulnerably in the world. Looking forward to making this lovely piece!

I love everything about this. I so enjoy your creativity, your color inspiration and well… just your lovely self! Thank you for sharing this with us.❤

You should make a tassel on the corner that you don’t want to weave in! It makes that iteration dynamic 😊

Beautiful! Thank you.
My only tiny wish is that you “looked at me”. 🤭♥️
Thank you Jackie for the pattern, heading to purchase now. I have a large-ish stash of linen quill and I am so looking forward to knit this up 🤗
Enjoy!
Oops, tomorrow 😋
I’m buying the pattern and making this! I’ve been hesitant to make the half and half, but THIS! Yay!

LOVE your color choices in the linen quill. Gorgeous! Jackie, where did you get your dress form? I’m looking to buy one. Thanks.
It’s 25 years old from my undergrad pattern making days. Google professional dress forms. ❤️
Disappointed that Revelry does not allow the purchase of this pattern thru my local yarn shop!
This is the first pattern I have published for sale. I didn’t even know that was a possibility. I’m so excited about its release and appreciate the support. Please let me know if you need help buying the pattern.
Thanks Jackie, II can purchase thru Ravelry, but always have tried to support my LYS. Thanks

I’d love to knit this but when I click on revelry I can’t see a button to purchase.
It doesn’t go live until Friday. 🙏 Thank you!

@@Cadyjaxknitsoh, I thought you used Birdie. What yarn did you use? And, what about the needle sizes of 4 and 6? Thanks 😀
@@CharleneCervenka you wrote Big Birdie in your message (I do that all the time too) All the info is on Ravelry.
