@@The336 even though you live in America there will be plenty of places where you will be able to get lessons, and if you are isolated all you need to do is get yourself a chanter, read up on correct usage and maintenance a bit and find some online lessons.
They are a set of 25-year-old Gibson drones with Bb EZ drone reeds and a McCallum Bb chanter with a McPhearson chanter reed in it. That setup seems to work pretty well here in the Utah desert climate where I live.
