This is not surprising. American vehicles don’t even sell in America. They are ridiculously priced and are horrible when it comes to reliability. I live in Georgia (Tbilisi), i have a friend that works in insurance and he told me that more than 50% of the cars that breakdown regularly are American made brands like dodge and Chevy.
EVs are following the route of being laptops on wheels... keeps changing little things just to make the previous model that came out last year obsolete. The main components are essentially the same, a battery, a motor and some plastic / metal around it all managed by some computer. all of them becoming a commodity obsolete in a matter of months.

No matter what you buy, all of those vehicles wouldn't run without the Chinese batteries and components under the hood or in the dashboard, even the top brand tyre companies moved their productions to China because of the cheap labour with factories four times the size and easy access to the raw materials to make larger profits, so the tyres are probably made in China too.
