      @stevelanghorn1407 yes. I was born and raised in such a world, in Ireland. We grew oats, never even heard of pesticides. The oats was thrashed by a threshing machine that separated the grain from the stalks. If you want to see that machine in operation check out the movie Ladies in Lavender starring dear Maggie Smith RIP, and Judy Dench. Set in Cornwall England during WWII.
      The threshing machine is in middle of film.

      I´m buying one Oats which are produced in Finland and they have a label "BIO" quality. The market which solds them in my country is saying "BIO quality, which guarantees that they are not contaminated with pesticides, nitrates or other harmful substances." So I´m wondering.....:)

    • @marianlundenius7272
      @marianlundenius7272 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure, they also claim it is gluten free - avenin is not included in traditionally gluten free. Oats is advertised for underweight children and fed as porridge in hospitals. We top the statistics of gut related diseases, ibs and obesity. Good luck: Oats also hinders the absorption of nutrients.
      A recipe for inflammation, aches and diabetes. Trust your body’s signals and doubt labels (they are marketing tricks). 50 years of suffering and a master’s degree in marketing later. Where can I emigrate never to be force fed grains again?

      @themovingintosleepmethod thought I'd add some info others on here might find useful. I purchased Dr. Gundrys shake and Primal Plant. The later has some ingredients potential buyers should know:
      1. Spinach, I'm allergic to this food
      2. Tumeric: anyone on blood thinner as I am should avoid Tumeric.
      3. Rhodiola: a serotonin producing product found in antidepressant Zoloft. The Merck Manual advises against its inclusion in any food because of negative drug interactions.
      There is a directive to check with your doctor before using product or to stop if it causes illness. So Gundry is covered for any problems but including the antidepressant herb has left me questioning how safe other Gundry recommendations are.

    Just a question to Dr Gundry, you said that wheat germ glutin binds to insulin receptors on fat cells & later you said it would opens the door to store in your fat cells.( 4.40 - 4.51 time line). If it binds to insulin receptors on fat cells, then how do they store fat on fat cell as well. Wouldn't that also raise sugar level in blood vessels?

    Great info! It's good to know I'll never afford to eat healthy! Good thing I got a big garden going. Question: is time restricted eating still beneficial with less than prime food, or is it only beneficial when paired with the foods like you suggested? I eat grocery store food, but I do limit sugar, and eat relatively healthy compared to people around me. I incidentally seem to eat a late breakfast, and then usually only dinner, so I'm basically following intermittent fasting not on purpose.
    Basically, I am trying to tighten my food quality but is there at least some benefits from intermittent fasting despite eating less than ideal food?
