Can this $69 lens be any good for a full frame camera for the price? It also works on APS-C cameras like Fuji X Mount. Let’s find out!

Yeah, I'm super broke. But wanted to get back into actual photography. Its been since 6mp DSLRs in high school for me, so while my body isnt z7 expensive, it was still $550 for a boxed A7ii with less than 100 shots.
I plan to adapt vintage lenses unless I somehow have a windfall, but I needed something that will definitely attach and i can test the camera with. So, i bought this lens.
No real expectations, but it looks like ill be able to get pretty quality shots of my kids this summer at a minimum.

Yeah it’s a pretty good lens overall, especially for the price! Maybe just slightly small image circle for full frame as seen in the blurry frame edges but good for closer up subjects where background is blurred anyway or for APSC

Great review, thanks! DJ Optical is one of the pioneers of modern Drum and Bass, haha

Haha didn’t know that! Pretty sure the name is just a coincidence but would be hilarious if he had anything to do with this lens

I got the silver version for the Zf and this is definitely a crop sensor unlike what they advertise. Its sharp at F5.6 and F8 and if you're set on a infinity focus, cropped to DX mode, its oretty easy to maintain focus and just shoot away. You just have to mentally adjust youre eyes that this is a 75mm focal length.
I alresdy knew this coming in so its not a big deal. Its actually great to crop in that much and yet have it be a small lens. I have the 85mm, 1.8 and that's not as fun to walk around with.

      Isn't the zf a apc?

@@unbroken1010 Zf is a full frame camera. You meant the ZFc. That's an APSC sensor camera. I've used this lens a lot more and the vignetting is less prominent at F11. So I take back my original comment.

@@alex-chicago-80 Yes, your right. Zfc. Nikon are nutty with their names but not as bad as Canon 😂

@@unbroken1010 C stands for crop so that makes sense. Z I don't know what that means. F is format. I agree, they could've done better with the naming convention with all their cameras. I know that D meant Digital and F meant film, maybe they should've just named these new mirroless lineups MF, Mirroless Format.

@@alex-chicago-80 maybe some of them have skipped numbers for no reason that I can figure out.
