In this video I receive a superheavy box of retro computers I bought on ebay and we take a closer look at every single one of them.
If you are wondering how I end up with 37,50 for the Amiga: I just divided the price for the lot by 10 (items). ... technically there are 11 items ...

Thanks for watching!
Very lucky you got good postal handling.
You forgot to put the video cable in after replacing the fuse in the C16 😂
Yep. I tested both machines again today and they both seem to have blown TEDs. Image looks exactly the same on both now ... with a cable attached ...
LOL. "I have bananas lying around which are less yellow..." From the filled in "CONTROL" key marking along with the square box arrow key markings, that's a Mitsumi keyboard. One with the filled in "CONTROL" key marking along with the rectangular box arrow key markings is an Alps keyboard.
Statistically, you have to be lucky sometimes... Also, nice haul for the money!
What a score!
on that harddisk that did not boot at first. i had harddisks on my 1200 that were slow wakening and always needed a soft reset cuz the amiga turned to fast into rom screen. mostly drives and cdrom drives that i had connected on their own power block, because i could not run al this things on the original power brick. later i had my 1200 running on an ATbrick with an amiga square plug attached. still use that powersupply as my main goto.
i was running a quantum bigfoot harddrive for some time.they eventually die.
30:51 no video, might help to put back in the video cable, 😄
edit: poor TED.
When the 1571 is being stored for a long time without a disk in it and without being closed, the metal strap that holds the upper heaf tends to break. I have several drives of that type with exactly that problem. It should be able to read C64 formatted disks though, because only the lower head is needed for that.
Interesting! I have to check that. But it does not read the C64 disks ...
@@RetroWKYears ago, I made a short (German) video that shows the issue: th-cam.com/video/Pk8jR4B4e3U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fMxF1E0J10JSHyIA
You should give a tip to your mailman! 😂
Only 380 EUR for the whole package? Wow, that is really lucky find. A1200 alone can reach that price point.
Yep. Great deal.
maybe the yellowed a500 is kind of a dune edition , who knows
Could be. Even has some sand and worms inside.
a c16 needs at least one videocable attached to show something
I was just saying as I saw it wasn't connected "That will still be a black screen"
Yep. I tested both machines again today and they both seem to have blown TEDs. Image looks exactly the same on both now ... with a cable attached ...
Like and subscribed, as per request... even though the permanent request banner is mildly annoying.
Whatever works ;-)
"Scratched, rough condition, dirty" - what do you expect from 35+ year old hardware that was in daily use? :/
This is not the worst, but in the Top 3 worst bundles I got … and I got a lot. Usually people don’t store machines in the dirt or outside. At least here in Germany they don‘t. So this is kind of unusually dirty and scratched.
Such an awful packaging! You really lucky!
As I always say: you never see the many times my luck runs out ;-)
