The first waterfall is great. The second is absolutely horrible to fight. Spammy AOE that hits the entire arena like 15 times in a row, inflicts one of the worst elements, and interrupts pillar stance so you can't even properly dodge with that. What even. At least the other ones are pretty great.
The certain bosses you beat will leave a glowing ball after. Its a certain part where you get your gourd upgraded and all that you beat you can retrieve at resting areas.
After you ring all the bells and beat the Act 1 secret boss, if you go back to the 3rd bell (the one next to the lake), there's a body hanging from a tree that you can interact with for some items and currency.
The running attack buff stays on if you go into the pillar stance heavy strike. If you have focus points and hold it for a second after running, he'll clear a decent amount of distance and chunk a good amout of damage from bosses that run at you
At chapter 2 the game blows my mind with usual walkthrough then I came back for secret item and bosses. Nuts. The dimensions of the skill play, spell, spirits, extra abilities makes it so fun so many ways to play the game.
This game has been a real surprise, really enjoying it and navigating to understand how to play. I’m okay with shadows being delayed now that I’m playing this
One more tip: You can complete a side quest in chapter 3 , which will grant you access to a hub area, a powerful transformation, and the ability to upgrade your armor!

Then go back to the cellar area in chapter 2 and “talk” to the NPC that gives stat upgrades. He will give you a key item that you should give to the dragon NPC back in chapter 3. After giving it to him, the secret area will be unlocked and can be accessed from your inventory anytime.

Theres another secret boss area in the first area at the waterfall to the left side of where you fight the fire wolf guy is red loong dragon fight gets you a new weapon
The Azure rock form saved me in so many battles and the strong attack can stun and knock back enemies and bosses, the only downside to this form is if the boss move quickly then you won't be able to get close on time
I found all of these and the medicine guy myself. I just started looking things up though cause there do be a lot of secrets! Great video nonetheless. To be honest I found the medicine guy by sheer luck and exploration.
Don´t stress yourself about the silk for the bronze monkey set. Just proceed into chapter 2 after you got the set crafting recipe, you will literally get all needed silk within minutes
You should do a boss guide around yellow wind sage but including the drunken boar questions to get the wind tamer. Before I discovered that drunken boar quest I watched a few yellow wind sage now guides and they're all horrible advice around respecing your character rather than being real guides.

I went to that secret area but I wasn’t aware you’d be transported there after the 3rd bell. I immediately fast traveled back because I thought I was missing something and can’t seem to go back. Was that a one time thing or is there a way to go back to that area? Shame there’s very little instruction in this game so far
Did I find out the hard way that if you craft a weapon to try out you lose the one you were using unless you craft it again? I went from the 70dmg/6%crit staff and wanted to try the rat staff with respec’d talents and now I can’t use the first staff again?!?
@jorraptor I have the first build but for some reason when i charge while running he stops for a moment before smashing the staff.. do you know why that is? I unlocked the charging while running ability too. Kinda lost here...
Need an easy mode ! Sick of games being so difficult you can’t enjoy the full game, this feels like sekiro to me . I pay full price and enjoy £10 worth of content 😂😢. At least elden ring gave you options like multiplayer or summons npcs
I hope black myth wukong gets a big dlc with bigger more open areas man if they do this right they could build upon this game for years to come. I hope they don't just get their money and then no dlc or content. That would be a disappointment. But i love this game so far its a blast to play. I actually turned off all health bars and damage numbers i like clean UI best way to play the game.
i dont know how many builds i can builds bosses are still hard as f 2 hits or 3 and im dead any ideas what im doing wrong tnx and i also hate when you get stuned characther will stand still for few long seconds following your guied xd every time i defead boss it took me 3 times or 4 atempts rage time going out to cool myself down xd
I'm having trouble, too. The bosses take so much damage while I chip at them like a toothpick lol I'm hoping it gets more exciting as I improve. Wouldn't mind a little extra exploring
It really is annoying to keep hopping around and not block. Its not a bad game, but the hype definitely made me expect way more than bosses and mapless hopping

took me about 7-8 tries just play it safe and slow, stay calm and dont spam your dodge

...If you used the shrine to travel back, you can go to it again. It's the area marked Secret on the fast travel menu.

so i ran past the big green baby at first and came back he was gone so i missed the ability, does he appear somewhere else later ?
