  • Amia, the pioneer in trigger-free foods for people living with migraine, proudly announces Jennifer Morrison as its new Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer. With a staggering 40 million Americans affected by migraine, Morrison’s appointment underscores Amia’s commitment to revolutionizing dietary solutions for migraine management.
Celebrated for her successful acting career, Morrison has had a long personal battle with ocular migraine and joins Amia with a passion for raising migraine awareness and creating easy and nutritious solutions for her fellow migraine sufferers. Her firsthand experience aligns perfectly with Amia’s mission to empower individuals through migraine-friendly nutrition and health-conscious lifestyle choices.
"Having experienced the debilitating effects of migraine, I am not only committed to advancing awareness, but also providing solutions,” said Jennifer Morrison. “The connection between migraine and food has been clear to me, but it can be extremely difficult to avoid certain trigger foods altogether. We will ensure Amia becomes the leading advocate and trusted resource in this vital field."
In her new role, Morrison will collaborate closely with Amia’s team of medical advisors and executives to drive strategic initiatives, innovate product development, and solidify the brand’s position as it creates an entirely new category of trigger-free foods.
"Jennifer’s profound empathy and commitment to health and wellness will significantly enhance our efforts to spotlight diets’ impact on migraine and to support migraine sufferers globally. I am excited about what we will accomplish together," said Jon Katz, CEO and Founder of Amia.
Amia’s current offerings include three flavors of soft baked oat and seed snack bars that are free of the most common trigger foods; foods such as gluten, soy, nuts, and chocolate. The bars also only contain whole ingredients and are made free of artificial sweeteners, natural flavors, and seed oils. The brand plans to expand its range of offerings in the coming months and years.
Amia is currently available in three flavors and is sold via Amazon, helloamia.com, and in select regional grocers. For more information visit, helloamia.com.

The concept is based on Threshold Theory, which states that we all have a threshold and we encounter daily triggers. Once your trigger load hits your threshold you get an attack. By eating Amia bars instead of other bars that are packed with triggers, you lower your trigger load, and hopefully decrease your migraine frequency!

I want to try it, bc I get Botox every 3 months for them. Maybe this can prevent triggers @@migraine-friendly-foods
