Always remember that spell in the first innings of the 99 Hobart test which then became famous for the 2nd innings Gilchrist/Langer chase. Turned that test on it's head. Love the "other one".
Sad that such a great bowler's international career was over by the age of 25. He was poorly managed by PCB and after few poor games he was dropped forever. Had he played till the age of 35 her could have broken many Test and ODI records.
@kabooterjajaja If such talent was in India, he would have challenged Murli and Warne for most wickets and the best spinner in the Game.. But PCB's mismanagement of talented players meant he didnt even play 50 tests!!! He had the most fantastic top-spinner(doosra) and good off break too. Played well in pressure situations and knew how to appeal for lbw/bat pads :-) :-) .. He did hav bad games but every player goes through that. one of my fav off spin bowler.
What a humble guy and one of the best spinners of recent times. Pity the PCB didn't give him a chance after 04. Sohail caused the downfall of the team from then on by sacking inform players like Anwar, Saqlain, Inzamam, Nazir, Afridi and Elahi.

He was lucky MOIN khan was his keeper as Moin helped saqlain claim lots of wickets through stumping and sharp catches. They are the best bowler/keeper pair during their era. Imagine how frustrated saqlain would have been if kamran Akmal was keeper during his career 😁

Great bowler and a tough competitor. Unfortunately due to severe knee injury, his career finished when he was only 27 years young.
Watching Saeed Ajmal destroy England in reminded me of the original master of" doosra". and a great personality to boot!

You are right.
Dude, do you just repeat phrases without thinking?
His career got cut short due to a knee injury at the age of 27. That is not "genius wasted"
