I think that they don’t want to put money in a remastered, cuz many people won’t like it, and the mechanics that this have in the ps3 was unique, and would be a hard work to change it for ps5 but I have hope, that they would make that shit would be great and the multiplayer shit that’s was awesome
I like how everything goes from bad to worse and how every moment where you might be hopeful immediately gets crushed by cynical reality. Templar manages to bring down the grid when he crashes the ship and everyone thinks he didn't die for nothing. Then the Helghast drop a nuke and make every loss suffered by the ISA meaningless.

I doubt it. It plays like a drunk and sloppy clone of call of duty. It even copies the same annoying tropes with generic soldier guy who moralfags about killing the enemy when they are attacking you unprovoked.
Sev sitting at the end, has some weird detail to it. I think he really took what Visari said to heart. That if they were to capture him, Helgan will go into chaos against the ISA. More blood, more war. I think he realized that Rico literally killing visari, that this was definitely going to get WORSE. So although they stated they were fucked before they stormed in to where Visari was hiding, it's a whole new level of "Shit dude we're FUCKED fucked aren't we?". And he just sits there and doesn't care about the waves of enemies he was concerned about before.
This game was the reason I bought a PS3 back in 2011. I already had a Xbox 360 since 2009, but Halo just did not have the same charm. The Killzone series is a forsaken masterpiece.
Oh man,This is one underrated and overlooked game for its time. I remember how cinematic and next gen the graphics this game had and Its just too good. I really loved how smooth the gameplay is despite it actually running on 30fps and I think this one of few games where the motion blur actually looks appealing.
This is honestly my most favorite Killzone, still Kinda wished to have played as a Helgan defending his Homeland in contrast to a Vektan defending his in the last one. It'll be a much more better plot and really gives insight on the minds of the soldiers fighting on both sides of the war. Nevertheless I loved this, the actions scenes and gameplay are amazing and the graphics are good for it's time, and it still holds up to this day.
Just got to the middle of the game, and it suddenly freezed, fully. Had the feeling of non-accompished mission that I had to complete. Thanks for making this game movie, it gave me a chance to look how this great game had ended. Now I am going to play third part with all the plot sense that I needed. Appreciate it. Thanks a lot

Killzone is one Underated Series,Its Story is cool and the Helgast has to be the Most Coolest looking Villains I've seen. The Shooting,Melee,Cover,Explosions,SFX and Visuals its all Amazing. *AND THE ISA WILL FEEL THE RATH OF HELGAN!*

How did Templar go from a spec-ops captain to commanding an entire fleet? I know he did a lot of important stuff in the last two games but I've never seen someone climb the ranks that quickly.

The german writers at Guerilla clearly have no idea that nuclear radiation exists. Red Dust should have rendered Pyrrhus Uninhabitable even by Helghast standards.
I know that Rico is arguably the most unpopular character in the killzone series but you have to admit that guy Richards that Rico beat from 1:13:50 to 1:14:08 had it coming for talking about Jan Templar that way.
Radec deserved better, one of the best villains in video game history - much more likable than Sev and Rico IMO. Even Visari had so much charism and value to the franchise that killing him off could never replicate or replace with KZ3 and Shadow Fall.
One thing interesting about the whole plot is the ISA is the invader and the aggressor where as the Helghast is trying to defend their home. However, the ISA is made to look like the good guys. Shows the true nature of conflicts where neither side is 100% the good guys or bad guys.
I love this game, but dammit whatever R&D department designed those drop ships the main characters use are morons. Open air platforms with no walls or seatbelts or anything that get dropped from orbit….seriously?
In another movie video where the pitch wasn't altered, parts of his speech were muted by YT for whatever reason. So I imagine they had to get around that issue for their video.

Justice for Rico. 🤦♂️ sev got up there had the tactical position firepower a more accurate rifle than Rico and surprise and stood there about to let at least Garza and Natko get shot and Evelyn get taken. Even if we say it took Rico the same amount of time to get up there as Sev we know Sev had the position firepower and time to take the shot. For whatever nonsensical reason he decided to sit there and was about to let his people get merc'd. Rico ran up there saved 2 out of 3 people with a less accurate gun and less time to get into position. Idk what the hell they wanted from him.
I beat this on the hardest level... Not the hardest shooter I've played (that would be PS1's One), but it's the hardest FPS i've ever played. So well done, 3 and shadowfall doesn't compare in terms of the main game. I did like 3's multiplayer better than 2's but 2 was so visceral that it wasn't dislike but pure intensity that made the mulitplayer both hard to play and stop playing.
He lost his platoon full of friends on kz1, the helghast killed a lot of civilians on vekta and then radec killed his almost brother jam templar, he is human after all and visari was screaming on his face. Rico is missunderstood.

they are repurposed cargo transports; not designed to transport soldiers. the whole point is this invasion is driven by emotion (revenge). ISA are outnumbered and outgunned, but they want payback, and they pay a high price for it.
Killzone 2 one of the best PS3 titles it was overshadowed left 4 dead w that came out the same year but released it late 2009 and modern warfare 2 came out in November 2009 where that game Exploded into popularity probably forgot this game

Killzone 1 had the perfect balance of believable sci fi. Killzone 2 went backwards. Killzone 3 was a Frankenstein. Love Killzone series but yeah kz1 the best. Want to recreate that success look at your first entry.
I really hated this series for the biggest and most damming flaw, ONLY BEING ABLE to play as the 💩 ISA. I didn't even bother to finish none of them, before I got irritated. Now if this is remastered and redone with a fully fleshed out Helghast campaign, I'd gladly check out that.

Wishing this series never fell off. One of the best shooters on PS. Even for todays standards the graphics held up fairly well.
