Very nice Alan, as a boy I had a Daisy BB rifle a '94 Spittin' Image' a very close copy (in looks as the stock and foregrip were plastic) of a Winchester '94 lever action. When I shoot a '94 in .30-30 now or an '86 in .45-70 I often think of that old BB rifle.....my sons ended up finally wearing it out - Cheers Jim

Thanks Jim. I'm lucky enough to have a '94 Spittin Image Daisy' in my little collection of Daisys. I think they did a brilliant job of making a low cost replica. Little touches like using the hammer as safety, you have to cock the hammer in order to fire it. A lovely BB gun. Cheers, Alan.

I bought a 917 this year also without the tray, i was so lucky to find a seller on E-gun last month with an Original unopened package with 5 trays, which he sold by the piece, i hesitatee no sec. to by them all.😀

    You lucky thing😊.
They're all plastic now, 65 quid.
I still may get one for a Christmas present for a lucky kid.

Interesting rifle Alan. Might be worth refreshing the seals after all those years. Is there a recommended number of pumps or a maximum ? Cheers Rob

Hi Rob. Since shooting the video I have had the rifle completely stripped, several times! All the seals I can replace have been replaced but the leak appears to be from the poppet valve. This is the valve that the trigger operates to release the air. This is a screw in unit which has to be replaced in it's entirety, so far I haven't been able to find any. The maximum number of pumps is 10. I find that 6 or 7 is more than enough for my 8.5 metre range. Cheers, Alan.

Very nice looking rifle Alan. I guess once the sight is adjusted for drop, you'll be dead on target. Daisy certainly had a lot of different designs of rifles. Cheers Nobby

Thanks Nobby. Yes, Daisy produced a very interesting range of air guns. I recently acquired a very old target pistol which I will post a video on in the future. It's an example of how occasionally a cheap product isn't necessarily a bad product. Cheers, Alan.

Hi Alan. Thanks for the video on the powerline rifle. I have one of these. It is quite old but in very good condition. My one is slightly different in that, it has a different bolt. The bolt on my powerline is a stubby round ball just like the bolt on the military rifle. I can't seem to find one on the Internet anywhere. I was wondering, if you have a link you can share to the place you purchased the loading trays as I would like to get some of those to use myself. If that's possible, I would appreciate that. Thanks for all the videos. Great site. I have just stumbled across you and I shall follow closely in future. Cheers, Robert

Hi Robert. Maybe someone made a custom bolt for your 922. There are a few websites selling the loading trays. Do a search for 'Daisy Powerline 922 Pellet Clips' and you should find what you need. I got mine from a website called 'Shootfish'. Cheers, Alan.

Hi Alan. Thank you for the link. I have just placed an order with Shootfish. When they arrive I will post a comment regarding my opinion of their quality. I already have one original that I got with the rifle. It will be really good to have more. Thanks again for your help.

@@RobLeatherartisan Hi Robert. As I explained in the video, they are made from some 3D printed flexible resin. Whilst not perfect they do the job and make using the rifle much easier than trying to use it without a tray. Cheers, Alan.
