Because of your vids I started running abyssals and even though I'm still unsure of exactly how to fit properly I'm up to T-1 with a little more confidence.
I think this fit could use some optimization. Given that your effective range is 8.4km with the Dark debuff, you can easily get away with or be better off with either, a single T2 web, and either a TP or a MGC, coupled with a 3% CPU implant, saving you ~300m ISK. Those two RF web cost more than the Muninn itself, while adding no real benefit beyond the T2 webs. A note on the cap, you don't have to perma run the second rep.

The Muninn is the second fastest HAC, edging out the Deimos and trailing well behind the Vagabond. It is one of the fastest cruisers, period.
It's slightly faster than a gila too.
When I played years ago and fiddled around with torpedo frigates I always used web with a target painter. I don't know if alot has changed, but back then the painter would make the target bigger for the missile explosion to apply more damage. Really depends on the explosion speed and the size of the explosion. From what I remember you want the targets signature as close to the explosion radius as possible. If it is half the size of the explosion radius you will do less damage.
But again idk if thats changed at all.

I've been running a very similar build on a sacrilege - i think i have it overtanked. The extra lowslot really lends itself to the Muninn for more DPS. I was considering swapped to a b-type armor rep and drop the other rep for another damage mode. The extra range on the missiles is great for the sac, you can kill stuff from much further out.
I don't run dark filaments though. Might be different if i tried those.

How about fitting a Damage control or even an assault dmg contrl helps with buffer in sites and assault will definately help with ganks? or the dmg output will drop too much?
After losing a few ships in t4 recently due to full neut rooms i wont go into t4 or up without dual cap battery's now
Gonna try this, I've got muninns I don't know what to do with since my alliance ditched them with that patch and the market is flooded.
Not sure what i did wrong, I have pretty much the higher/same stats as in this video in terms of tank/dps. Was cruising the first runs, but then i found a room with 4 ghosting damavik, at least 4 tangling damavik, and a bunch of strikeneedle + some other stuff that im not sure about. I was using the faction amo since they are small frigs, I could take a few strikeneedles first, but then I took so much time to kill the ghosting damavik because of the masive repairs that the damage just ramped up and destroyed me.
Any advice, i don't really see how I could actually pass this room.
I wonder if you'd be better off with a guidance computer and a target painter. I've been messing with one of these ratting and combat sites in LS and fitted like that it's a beast, no application problems. You also might try Javelin missiles instead of Navy. Much longer range, better application but lower damage than the Navy variant.
K-space rats make for a very poor comparison to Abyss entities. Most Abyss NPCs move significantly faster, which alone impacts Missile application quite a bit. Add to that speed bonus NPCs get in Dark sites, and Web becomes mandatory. Two might not be the best option, however, but it would require multiple tests to adequately ascertain whether 2nd Web, Paint or Guidance Comp leads to better application. Not to mention the results would differ depending on target sizes... or the incoming weapon disruption.
As for missile choice - I generally find Navy better than Javelin. More DPS for near identical application, at the cost of some range. There are only a few spawns that actually try to pull range from you to begin with, and raw DPS usually clears rooms faster.
Rather slow in killing rats (compared to the gila). I did some T4 dark with the muninn but i think the sacrilege will be better. Muninn needs some love from ccp.
