There a single talents, that stand out. Like the best striker. But you also have Maguire in the starting lineup and a keeper that wouldn‘t make the squad in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal or Germany. I‘m from a country that in my lifetime won 2x WC an 1xEC .. and the sweetest were the wins, were no expectations were set. This ride-or-die mentality lol… a squad with a good atmosphere & communication will beat a strict drilled & under pressure team. We have the best striker in the world, a Ballon D'or candidate, the second best winger in the Prem, Guardiola's golden boy, a top 5 CDM in the world, one of the best right backs in the world etc. Maguire shouldn't be starting. In terms of player quality England are in the top 5 worldwide not just Europe.

José was a defensive minded coach in a poor United team in a league that stretches 38 games, he had to play that way or risk the hammerings United gets nowadays. Let’s not forget he still had the best season in that league post Fergie. But Jose is a different manager in knockout football, we’ve seen the capability he has in knockout football, suited for each game wether he has to park the bus or not. Winning the ucl with Porto, overcoming the greatest barca side with inter then winning the cup. All his biggest accomplishments are from knockout football.
