Baffled by Shaka's bizarre take on Havertz, he should just admit that he got it wrong and Arteta got it right!
“In the biggest games I’m not sure he’s the one you can rely on” right after seeing Havertz score and assist in the biggest NLD in years….
That's his issue. He'll never admit he's wrong.
Arteta definitely got it wrong thinking Kai could play midfield. He’s just better than Jesus up front
He references the Villa game but everyone knows that arteta was culpable in that game by messing up the line up. We have never seen the best of Havertz in mid field but he has done well upfront, and arteta chose to play him in mid field.
@kidouble18 actually this is an interesting criticism. I forget which current Arsenal player said it (Jorginho I think) he revealed that the players decide where they feel they can contribute, and then Arteta helps them define those roles to their strengths. So I wonder if he did let Kai go into midfield (because he felt more confident there), and let the team work it out that way - to build team spirit. Could explain the Xhaka renaissance, the seamless slotting in of Rice etc. Arteta might have wanted Kai for his off the ball work, not because he thought he was a number 9 or 10 or 8. The problem might have been Kai was so low confidence, and he keeps saying he will play anywhere, that's not what Arteta wanted. He seems to want players to say, I'm in this role. I will stamp my authority on it.
The Dubai trip might have been what Kai and arteta needed (same with Ben white) to gain confidence to say, ok, I want to be this position on the pitch, or I want to help this attack move better. And they worked on it to amazing results.
I thought Thomas Partey was class today and you have to say that Kai Havertz is a better option as a striker than Jesus.
Yeah. Jesus is probably the better footballer, but can't score. He needs to not play for a few months in order to become fully fit. He said a few weeks ago that he can't remember the last time he played without pains.
Really I thought we were over run in midfield today
You're absolutely spot on!... I think Jesus is too chaotic he disrupts the team flow.... Arteta should start utilizing him on the right and give Saka a breather
Only problem with Kai is sometimes he’ll have an open look like today he had one or two open looks & chose to make an extra pass whereas if he just strikes it he could have probably scored.
I said this months ago yes. Jesus is a winger or sub max
These pundits are a joke. Shaka claiming that Havertz only scores goals when the game is already won. You'd think these pundits would actually do some research before speaking because Havertz has scored the decisive goal in lots of games.
Shaka is an Arsenal hater. He can hold that.
The most decisive was in the Champions League final against Man City where he not only scored the first goal but the only goal lol
@@Cbart23 Football punditry must be the only job in the world where you can talk absolutely nonsense without any facts to back up what you say & get away with it week in week out.
He's scored the winning goal today as he has done on 3 other occasions this season that's 8 points he's won
Yes very lazy
That stupid moment when your prediction against Arsenal backfired
lol 😂😂😂😂

That’s how they get more views
@user-mc8wi2lg2ma spud 🥔 is spotted😂

Ale's penalty rant 😂😂 shameful
He was a marginal forward who specialized in diving.
Ale was a bang average striker who had to dive to get a kick 😊
@@anthonygriffiths9821bro plz rectify he was not average rather below par
This year Arsenal: 14W, 1D, 1L. Goals: 48-8. Havertz has been a huge part of that incredible success but you think it’s acceptable to only focus on the single loss as telling?
Havertz was in wrong position also in villa match. He is best as striker
It was Jesus who played striker that day.
Jesus, Kai Havertz must have to score the winning goal in every game for the media to get off his back.
Jesus and Havertz dont go along this season
i know bro.. its crazy.. Kai had like 4 winning goals this season that put arsenal 12 points clear but he still gets hate
Havertz scored one and made one, good holdup play when things got hairy, Shaka was a bit harsh
@@ShoaibAhmedNZ A bit harsh is an understatement. Shaka is definitely personally biased against Havertz.
They're totally ignoring his literally game winners home and away against Brentford
All these guys predicted a draw or loss for Arsenal hahahaha
It nearly was a draw.

Shaka Hislop - "I was at the Villa game and" Yeah, shut up. I'm sure Erling Haaland never done a stinker in any game ever. Kai Havertz was a different class today.
Lmao, Benny Blanco was a beast. Hold dat Spuds.
Shakas Havertz’ analysis was so hilariously ignorant that I can’t believe he gets paid to do this
He likable but what excuse does Ale have? Hevis unpleasant and clueless 😮
Ale predicted Arsenal loss and he’s trying too hard to explain why Spurs lost. Sore analyst.
The hate on Havertz is mind boggling. He has been great mostly.
He has been great not only for arsenal but for Germany too.
He is a top few striker in the league now
These old heads, once they have a narrative.. its impossible to change it
He started slow but has been great lately
They hate Arteta, they hate our players, they hate Arsenal ...
"in the biggest occasions, in the moments he's needed the most"
Oh, you mean like winning the Champions League, getting a goal and assist in a crucial NLD away win, and scoring late game winning goals? What a moronic comment, he's already showed up many times at important moments. The inability to not make silly criticisms of Kai is wild on this channel.
This whole segment was just so awful. Shaka and Ale make Michael Owen look like a top pundit. These two are absolute eggheads.
That's true if it was not for his goals arsenal would not be second right now
Also people forget that Kai is still only 24, if he keeps improving with the same rate under Arteta's guidance, he can get even better than he was in Leverkusen.
He means consistently. Scoring in 1 final isn't "showing up when the team needs you most".
I agree with your comment 100%. Very lazy punditry if one can even call it that. If you have an agenda against a player, own it with your full chest and don't go making outlandish assertions bothering on the ridiculous. Besides his goals and assists, Havertz has been very very influential to this Arsenal team and he's also always fit and available for selection which is a very underrated attributes. Scored both winning goals against Brentford this season amongst making other notable contributions but Shaka's agenda for Havertz occupies such a huge blind spot that he just wouldn't see it.
Shaka Hislop really said Havertz can't be counted on in the big moments and big ocassions. Like the Champions League final or the the North London Derby, or against Chelsea? 🤦
Shaka Hislop should retire as a pundit. One of the worst ever Pundit I have ever seen. He has a personal thing with Havertz, and can't see him doing good. Shame on you Shaka, you're a disgrace !!
So ridiculous because when Saka went down after being touched in the box at Bayern they screamed he dived
They did😂😂😂😂😂😂
He divided. The dolphin 🐬was clearly fishing for a pen.
Edit: Missed the word "dived" like how Arsenal gonna miss out on the prem come end of the season.
Don’t expect these guys to be objective
Saka did dive though and i was so dissapointed in him in that moment cause if he had of soldiered through that and went around Neuer that would have been 3-2 to us and we would have the advantage going into the Allianz arena
He did dive tho and blatantly
D Hutchinson the loser who had predicted Arsenal wouldn’t even make the top 4 this season 🤯🤣🤣
He was slapped on both cheeks at Gudison Park when Liverpool got thrashed few days ago...They're all dissapointed with Arsenal progression.. Am enjoined their negativity against Arsenal
Shaka mentioning Arsenal fans moaning Kai missing vs Villa is ridiculous
Every fan would react the same or worse about any player
Sometimes you don’t like a player & nothing he does will change your mind. That’s Shaka’s relationship with Kai
Btw he scores in big games so you can rely on him
Didn’t he score Chelsea’s winner in The UCL final
😂
Kai havertz is a big game player
Rice went for the wrong ball😂😂😂

100 million joke.
The problem with Alie’s take is it would be hundred penalties if that one gets awarded. You need to allow certain physical contact.
Good thing he's a pundit and not a ref😂😂😂

Rubbish take from Xhaka. He needs yo do his research on how many points Kai had won us this season

Is Ali Moreno being a moron on purpose? Kulu was throwing himself on the ground the whole game. Ref saw that and rightly treated him like a mook.
He was smoking something 😂
When is he not a moron? How he gets paid to talk football is beyond me - most of the time I simply assume he’s there for comedic effect.

Why did the linesman raise the flag for what should have been Havertz’s first goal
That’s VAR job
Lineman can get it wrong
VAR shouldn’t
@@mamadousy9632 But linesman got it wrong by raising flag before the goal was scored so VAR cannot intervene in such a situation
Because it was offside kid
Haverts wasn't offside it was the guy that got the ball before him
I think it was offside but they should have checked with the lines. It was as close as VdV’s at the other end.
Tell Hislop Havertz scored 2 vs Chelski and got assist and goal vs Tott
“In the big occasion …”
Didn’t Havertz score the CL winning goal?
He also scored 3 goals to win games this season in the EPL.
Shaka suddenly forgets the two Brentford games where if we didn’t get all 6 points the title would be over
‘In the biggest occasions I’m not sure Havertz is the man you rely on’ - he’s making the difference every game. What more does he have to do. A phenomenal assist and another goal today.
The biggest occasions like the Champions League final or North London Derby? 😂
Wait a minute, with this result Don owes Dan some money.
Shaka absolutely embarrassing for that Havertz take. The whole world will respect you more if you admit that you were wrong about him 🤣🤣🤣. Straight up ridiculous
Never a penalty but sure Ale, advocate cheating. Says a lot about you but we already knew.
Agreed and thank you!
His wife knows for sure she ain't falling for his lies about the lipstick 😂
So Kulu was cheating??😂😂 Arsenal fans man.
He was still trying to get to the ball while falling but okay.
Disgusting from Shaka. Arsenal fans love Havertz. They could probably just see he was half a yard offside - old man. They will not give Havertz credit if he scored 20 this season. Define bias
I’ve never seen Saka with so much space.
COYG!!!
Shaka getting paid to be pundits is a joke! Kai scored 86 minutes winner for Arsenal against Brentford March 9. Arsenal won a lot of games comfortably in 2024, but his goals in many of these games have served as a foundation and great platform for Arsenal to see these games out.
Both Brentford games
Biased view on Kai, Kai has scored a few goals for Arsenal to go 1-0 up, he has also scored when we were drawing to win a match. If he hadn’t scored the third goal today, Arsenal would have drew that game. Give that guy his flowers and stop disrespecting his game please
so shaka is just going to ignore havertz' world-class assist for the 2nd goal
5 seasons and 1 trophy. And ppl say klopp failed as manager 😂
Why was Don's comment about it not being a penalty cut off ?
My question exactly
Shaka forgets Havertz scored the winning goal in the CL final, now that is a big game, what's he been smoking.
Ben White did a hatchet job on Vicario today and he’s like shiet on a blanket, you can’t remove it.
Shaka's view on kai havertz is deluded, assisted Saka's goal and scored himself! Stick to cricket shaka or soca your a arsenal hater and a average goalie..
Bad keeper
Havertz was massive. Easily one of the best signings across the PL in recent years.
Here we go again espn focusing losing team more then admitting Arsenal are unstoppable
Arsenal are unstoppable eh?
You might want to rethink that comment as I swear Arsenal lost against a sub par Bayern Munich in the UCL this season.
5 defeats in the league, most defeats than any of the top 3. Apparently, the league started in 2024 to the Arsenal fans, after their Dubai trip 😂
@@samkhan5661 was Arsenal position 10th before Dubai?
@@samkhan5661 Yeah, and the only team with 0 defeats against big-6 sides, why dont you mention that?
When do they play their UCL semi again?
Kia Harvertz is so disrespected!
He’s plays like Bobby Firmino and I’ll love him to be at Liverpool right now.
I miss Bobby. 😢
Yes, I really like Firmino, too...truly delightful to watch...cheers!
lol so every game arsenal lose is kai havertz fault and proof of your moronic point of view. He has been sensational at Arsenal. Its not just his goals and his assists. His hold up play, his playmaking ability(like the 40 yard pass today) , his height for corners on both ends which also gives arsenal an out ball to play to him long which he more times than not wins against many defenders, his one touch play with the midfielders. He is also rapid pace wise. He is a freak of nature as an athelete and a footballer. Just admit you were all wrong. About both raya and Havertz. Arsenal have the best attack and defence in the league, how are you not embarrased to keep talking nonsense?
But the touch on Bukayo by Neuer in the last mount is the CL at the Emirates wasn’t a penalty?
Not the player to rely on? Kai literally involved in the most late game winners for Arsenal this season. He's Arsenal's most reliable big game player of the season.
Look at pain in his face for Tottenham losing 😂.
The guys are going on so much about a situation where Son was offside in the build up which makes the whole penalty scenario a non-starter to begin with rather than analyzing the whole game as a whole? Almost like Ale was desperately waiting for Arsenal to fail to win so he can harp on about us being bottlers or whatever lol give it a rest! 😂😊
Funny how players know keepers to mess with, go try that with Neur or Emi Martinez and see if they won't clatter you😅.
Come on anyone with sense this season knew Arsenal would win. Arsenal need to worry about OT there record is horrible
Angeball was fun while it lasted mate
It was a breath of fresh air. Now it's just a big joke.
Arsenal literally survived a late scare. A lot of people will say “oh they almost bottled a 3 goal lead to Tottenham” and I agree up 3 goals and almost dropped points, history almost repeated itself for them and had they drew the game, we’d be having a much different conversation about their title chances, but they hanged on and got the 3 points in the end. It was a nervous moment for them because they were comfortable on the score line especially since they scored 3 goals in the first half and conceded 2 goals thanks to a penalty and a mistake, when you’re in a title race moments like that you have to make sure that you don’t choke. They’re in 1st place and while they’re still probably not going to win the title since it’s in Manchester City’s hands as they have a game in hand over Arsenal, they’re still in contention and they’ll fight until the last minute no matter what happens. Whether they win the league or not, Arsenal didn’t bottle anything and based off of the comments, I can tell who watches football or not.
That Villa game, though ...
@mydancinglife730 it's disrespect to Villa to suggest that's a game Arsenal are guaranteed to win, they're 4th right now, with a small chance at 3rd.
@@dre8463 You're right. I dont feel regret we lost to Villa, cause they played really well and deserved to win. The same cannot be said about Fulham and West Ham games. That was an unexplainable crumble
@@leetaipe The West Ham at home game was horrible because Arsenal should've won with the chances they had. However, no point crying over spoiled milk. Fight to the end and we'll evaluate. Arsenal are definitely making more of a case than everyone expected they would, that's for sure. Arsenal aren't going away, for a good while.
@@mydancinglife730without that loss, the title would be in their hands. If they don’t win the premier league that Aston Villa game is a “what if” moment for them and it shows you how little the margins are in a close title race in the Premier League and how there’s no room for error because as good as Arsenal are playing right now, if Manchester City remain perfect from now until the end of the season, they’ll narrowly miss out on the Premier League title because of that loss to Villa.
lol Kai havertz has literally scored last minute winning goals twice this season. What is he on?
Arsenal's detractors, led by Don Hutchinson, predicted that the club would fail to finish in the top four. Upon hearing him, I am left to ponder why he was a member of the mid-table squad.
Ale thinks any contact means it should be a penalty?!?! 😂😂
Love how so many claim that a team needs an identity. But when they have an identity they become predictable like spurs. Everyone and their mother knows there will be space behind them because of their style of play.
Ale Moreno and ESPN promoting simulation rather than applauding a player for trying to stay on his feet, class
He ran into Trossard. No Pen. Shaka is spot on.
Havertz has scored 10 goals since January and got a few assists as well since he’s been playing as a striker.
In the end, we gifted them. We move & continue in hope 🙏 coygs
Ironically Kulesevski spent the better part of the first half hour just falling down at the slightest contact and it's too his credit that he didn't dive on that minimal incidental contact and instead tried to make something from that chance.
I’m sorry 😂 “if Shaka touches me I’ll go down” PAUSE 😂😂😂
Mikel has turned Kai back into the beast he once was at Leverkusen he has been sooo crucial for us in this title race
The best Arsenal season in 20 years. 20 years is a whole PLAYER that can start in the first team.
Arteta is by far the best new generation of managers
Ale he ran across Trossard so tripped himself. If you drive in front of someone and they hit you its your fault 😂
I love ale moreno anything time.. I wonder why he's not in the studio more often
Bollocks Ale, going down as soon as you get touched is exactly whats wrong with the game. It's diving and it's cheating, football is not a zero contact sport. We all complain about referees, with everyone falling all over the place it's almost impossible to make the right call.
When Moreno says yes it’s a penalty he means “Yes in South America this is a penalty”
1. Kai Havertz scored the third Arsenal goal, so technically he did score the winning goal.
2. The Ale character was happy to say it wasn’t a penalty on Saka in the Bayern game but he wants to give Kulusevski a pen.
Kulseki bumped into Trossard and not the other way w. Ale is a secret spurs fan
Don't usually feel disappointed after winning the NLD. Just can't believe Raya gifted them a way back into the game, we were in COMPLETE control before that.
Dan, Arteta isn’t copying Pep, our system is similiar ONLY up to the point of using inverted fullbacks. Our attacks are not, unlike City, down to providing service to the CF(Haaland) by crossing mainly which is City’s biggest strength.
Arsenal’s penetration is via wing play to 3 goal scorers across the front. That is why the goals are shared evenly and not a landslide.
With Havertz central we do have the “Haaland” style option but we only use him in situations like today where we face the highpress. Also Arsenal’s defensive tactics are currently a tier above City’s where City defend by keeping the ball, Arsenal defend old school and let opponents have the ball and rely on their defensive discipline and doggedness.
Kai was playing with the flu, arsenal was very tired and worn out. It was easy to setup to beat Tottenham though and the game was not really in question
Don is correct
Your analysis of Kai is so low.... Like you are trying to create a narrative. Maybe you are paid to do that. All I can say is that it is very normal for fans to feel hurt when our player fucks up including Jesus with too much dribbling at times but then we still love them. Kai has won us games.
Shaka is absolutely right! Someone remind Ale this is a man’s game
Saka scored our second goal from a great pass from Havertz.
This guys don’t like Arsenal for nothing. ESPN tried everyway never to say anything good about Areenal😂
Tottenham was by a mile the better team today. The 3-0 score at half time was totally unjustified by what we saw on the field. Arsenal was VERY LUCKY today!
A mile?) Very lucky?)You crack me up. No shots on goal by Spurs in the first half. Saliba and Magalaes just pocketed Son and Kulusevski. Spurs should practice taking set pieces more)
They were running around with no aim like chicken with their heads cut off.
@@user-bz6pq2zt1iHe's not wrong, Tottenham dominated and were extremely unlucky, I have no idea how it was 3-0 at HT, it was completely unjustified. Go away Spurs hater. Fly away, fly away now.
It's not Arsenal's problem that Spurs couldn't go past Arsenal defenders and score. Having the ball more time than your opponent is not being better. Spurs played against the best defense in the league. They should have been more creative than that.
@@SA-nb8lj You talking nonsense but being a spud its what they do
Arsenal had their first team players in Timber, Partey, Jesus and Tomiyasu missing most of the season. It’s a miracle that Arteta was able to compete this long against City with the squad he had . Imagine a city team without Rodri, Halland, Walker and Gvardiol for most of the year. City wins because of the second 11 they have and not first 11. Arsenal need to match that. I mean how many goals Zinchenko leaked this year or in games Saka looked out of sorts because of exhaustion and no proper backup . You are never going to win against city with situations like that . Last year they couldn’t do it because of playing with Holding instead of Saliba in crucial end games and I think it was their best chance against city.
Agreed. People give me grief when I say Arteta needs two more transfer windows to have a squad that can compete head on with City, but that's just the reality of where we are at now.
Ohh Ale Moreno is that type of player ... 'The diver' and now acts as a pundit. Can't ESPN get a better pundit?
The real penalty was the Declan Rice tackle on Maddison, he literally flew in missed the ball and caught Maddison how on earth is knowone talking about that challenge
Shaka says Kai Havertz put the "icing on the cake" and only scores when the game is already won but conveniently forgets about the winning goals he scored against Brentford (both home and awa) and the Luton equalizer at Kenilworth.
Why can't he just give the man his flowers and leave it at that?
There is a legit point where kulusevski was cutting across trossard. Remember when Saka bumped Neuer and he didn't get a penalty? If we let players get penalty for going across defenders then get ready for hundreds of peenalties next season. Everyone will just go and bump everyone.
spurs over the years have prevented a loss from using dark tactics, the issue now is VAR. Cant see them beating Arsenal in the league now for a long time.
Shaka spot on with penalty analysis
One of the most contradictory statement have heard in my life is when football expert calls the game a contact sport and suddenly turn around to explain reason why a penalty should be given or was given is because there was a contact. Football is a contact sport, players spend hours training hard to be physically fit, then go to the ground for any minimal contact. There should be no penalty unless the contact was to gain an undue advantage. This is coming from a city fan, referees and so called football expert are ruining our beloved sport.
How about the only two goals Tottenham got were Arsenal errors, where is the Tottenham creativity? Tottenham, think themselves lucky Raya’s error stopped another 3 goals going in could have been 6-0 if Rayas error didn’t happen and give arsenal nerves and Tottenham hope.
Spot on 👌😊
To be fair though in the Villa game he was played in midfield. We've all seen that he is more productive up front
Shaka is talking nonsense.
Arsenal will win epl. ManCity will lose 2 points vs Spurs and Arsenal wins on goal difference!
Espn should stop bias against Kai Havertz and admit they were wrong about him
Shaka just making himself look like an absolute prat with his analysis of Havertz. "He doesn't score in big games". He just did 😂
Ale seems extremely disappointed in us winning, he's even turning red face after all the shouting that the Tottenham player didn't go down immediately for a penalty, shame poor Moreno 😂😂😂😂
