After moving from Galaxy A52s to Xperia 10 IV due to horrendous battery life, I would go for a Sony. There is too much of "inventing bicycle again" in Samsung software. Phone ends up having 2 apps of the same function in many cases and dual store system causes confusions. Takes a lot of time to remove duplicate apps etc before can actually use the device.
I actually switched from a A52s to a Xperia 10 V too, after OneUI 6.1 made the user experience horrendous + with my A52s slowly dying. And I can't complain honestly. It has great battery life, it uses stock Android, it runs smooth most of the time and the Camera makes decent photos. Plus, it still has a SD Card option and a headphone jack! While it is debatable if you need it or not, it's still a nice feature, if your headphones are charging but u still want to listen to some music rn
21:9 is such a practical aspect ratio. One-handed typing and the best to hold your phone when you're on the move. Prices of Sony phones are not good though. Especially considering their market share.
Hey, another Sony Xperia 10 V user here, I only use TH-cam ReVanced - no lags there, overall performance is smooth for 2 months now, before it was rather bad.
I bought it because of the headphone jack and microSD card slot. But the main reason is because of Hi-Res Certified audio, paired with a DAC/Amp 4.4 mm, I can run my focal Celestee and Fiio FX15 IEMs with really good sound, "offline files" FLAC/Wav or m4a. It basically becomes a DAP "Digital Audio Player" Sony Xperia 10 VI 499$ Cayin RU7 DAC Amp 479$ Fiio FX15 IEMs 945$ Focal Celestee 1295$ European price. I go for the 10 model because of the price and it's only for music, I use another phone for everything else. The slower chip and screen, makes the player "phone" run longer. This way my phone or dap is better and cheaper than most High End DAPs in the 2000$ region.
Modern phones are over the top with specs. They only target reviewers for good publicity. most of the features of flagship smartphones are useless for 99.9% of people. Super powerful processor for no reason, 5 cameras for no reason, bloater AI features for no reason. Everyone should be using this kind of smartphone. Save yourself some money and buy this phone.
Side sense splitscreen is also the best in the market. and with using the pop up screen you can literally use 3 screens. best for multitasking i think.

Why? No ugly stupid axx hole and cut out rounded corner display. Simple as that. What ever ur alternative are all having inferior display by design(pixel, samsung or whatever)
And they also have speakers pointing to your hands when you hold the phone horizontally to watch a video, instead of forward, which is stupid. But hey they are bezel-less so who cares, right? 🙃
I'm a Xperia 10 V User and regarding to the YT Bug, I can say that it doesn't happen for me most of the time, but it still happens. But it's more rather a issue on Googles Side, since I have the same issue on my previous Galaxy A52s
Sony phones feel like they are made from 5-10 years ago because of their designs and i love it that way it has a headphone jack and no weird black circle thing on the screen or the weird iPhone notch looking thingy
As the owner of an Xperia 10 IV (which I got a couple months ago "refurbished" from Telia, a phone service provider here in the Nordics, for a measly 169 euros), I hope Sony continues with the Xperia 10 series, so I can buy a newer version when something happens to my 10 IV. I was initially kind of skeptical about how narrow the display was, but after a couple of days I got used to it, and the feel in the hand is fantastic. Plus, y'know, a headphone jack, a microSD slot (and the microSD/SIM slot can be opened with just your fingernail), great battery life and a great OEM Android that is almost stock (and really just adds some great features, like Side Sense). Literally the only real complaint I have is that since it's not a high-end line, it can lag and hang sometimes a little, though this is mostly when using multi-window features. Oh, yeah, and though this is kind of a pointless "feature", the Xperia 10 IV (and the V and VI too mostly) look absolutely fantastic with the sleek back. One of the most gorgeous backsides of a phone I've ever seen. Oh, yeah, and 120 Hz is a meme. Could not care less about that.
Had this phone for a few weeks and love it. Fantastic audio, amazing battery life, great feel in the hand, FPS side mounted, 3.5mm headphone socket and SD card slot. I sold my ultra and am using the Sony with Niagra launcher. A fraction of the cost of my ultra which was poor in comparison for audio, ergonomics and battery life compared to the Sony 10vi.
