Just bought one should be here next week, I got the 3038e w/loader and I bought the backhoe attachment, cost out the door with tax was $41,359. I'll be working it hard as soon as it hits my property.
Umm i would quit starting the tractor with the throttle halfway up... Start it with throttle all the way down, then increase once it's running. Other than that i agree it's great, i have the exact same tractor and also live on a 5 acre acreage. Super handy machine
Picking my new 3038e up on Saturday. Hot the bucket and mowing deck also. I'm going to mow..roto till and maybe 3 row jd corn planter. Planting deer food plots and my Deere 5075e too high center of gravity For the tough jobs I use my Deere 333g with high flo. Btw nice job on the land.
Now you need the 3rd function and get yourself a backhoe attachment ! And stop kicking the throttle up to cold start it ! Leave it at idle for a few minutes first then bring up the RPM
GENX KnowsBest you need the power beyond kit for the backhoe. It basically plumbs the tractor’s hydraulics to the rear so the backhoe runs off the hydraulic system and not the PTO. It’s an expensive option to add after purchase. Look at an aftermarket company called pto link to make PTO hookups easier. tractorptolink.com

Yes and it has the quick connect attachment on the 3 point.

Yes the bucket can handle very mature palmettos scoop them from the roots they come right up.

$21,000 including implements and tax is exceptional deal. Indiana dealers do not discount JDs that much.
