You video popped up on my youtube page. Like a kid in a candy store :) I will be like this in the next month or so when I get my new 3039R and attachments. Great video. New subscriber here!
Cool vid! Can you tell me all you know about the root grapple? What brand and model is the grapple? Did you install yourself or have it done at a dealership. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and the question @Elsinator 89R! We purchased the grapple on-line (www.ctattachments.com). Here is our playlist with more videos of our tractor with the grapple: th-cam.com/video/FsJm8HQhnvI/w-d-xo.html
I was wondering if you have had any problems with the turbo charger on that tractor and I have the 2017 3032E and I don't think it has the turbo charger on it and so far the tractor have worked just fine for me and the only problem I have is refueling it since the cap is up on the hood. I saw a video on the 2018 models and the company moved the fuel cap and tank to the rear of the tractor and that is great. I guess that I should have waited a year or more to get a new one to avoid this problem. New Holland, and many other brands corrected that problem on earlier models and also the other areas John Deere owners still suffer from.
Thanks again for watching and the question @ Sidney Mathious! I honestly do not know if our model (3038e) has the turbo charger or not. As for refueling, it is a little awkward trying to fuel the unit from the top of the hood.
Thanks for watching mac1576! We have just over 7 acres of heavily wooded land that we use our John Deere 3038E to maintain. I briefly looked at the 4 series but the 3038E fits our needs perfectly. If our acreage was a little more open (less trees) and we were mowing/tilling larger areas then I might have considered bumping up to the 4 series.
Thanks for watching! When purchasing these tractors from a dealership they will usually come as a package with other implements or attachments and run around $20,000.

@@OurBigHouseintheLittleWoods I agree.
Great videos. Really appreciate the honesty in them! How much land are you using the 3038e on? Did you ever contemplate the a 4 series?

Hey Bryce can you run a 5' sickle bar on his mower to backlash field or Creek banks I guess no more than a 5' brush hog too.
