I'd love to hear if it's playable on steam deck. I know factorio is, DSP kind of is, and satisfactory basically isn't. It's not a deal breaker if it's m+kb only though. Game looks awesome

If you like shapez, then yes. The stacked building layers add a whole new dimension of planning (pun intended). The whole tunneling + splitter mechanism in the original has always felt like I was fighting the game a bit. Then everything required a rework once you got more compact routing blocks. Removing both of those feels a lot smoother. I’ve been excited since trying the demo and (as the video points out), I was surprised at how complete and bug free it’s been.
@@eldomschi2680 I was sceptical about getting the game as well but I eventually bought it. And after some hours of gameplay (almost 20 at the time of writing) I can tell that this game has a lot more to offer regarding gameplay. I am not a great fan of the design of the atmosphere you play in, but perhaps that is a matter of time and a few mods, or updates.
Dyson Sphere Program is *exactly* why I'm scared of early access factory builders. That game took a 1+ year detour to make it a hoard shooter rather than expanding the systems of what it already had. Side note, why is the video double the length of the actual video track?
Unlike Dyson sphere, the base goal here has been very clear. Make a 3D version of the original with just a bit more complexity. If you like the original, you’ll like this one even more (at least I do and I believe I’m about 30% through based on the original version).
Overall I agree. Satisfactory last released new parts to automate in March 2021. Three years of cosmetics and slight QoL. The engine upgrade took 1 entire year.
DSP is an incredible game, the value you get out of it is immense, and that was true even right at the beginning of EA some people might be unwilling to engage into the battles against the dark, but it is totally optional Everything we got since launch is just cherry on top of a delicious cake

i like shapez/shapez 2 soundtrack, but i often think it's "too much" for what the game is. like imagine having the doom eternal soundtrack playing during super noah's ark. doom eternal's music is great, and it's suitable for the genre, it's just "too much" for what the game is lol.
