Alabama born and raised here, any poultry you put in that sauce is only gonna get better. Made some wings with it the other day and im gonna go and grill some more chicken today. Thanks for the video on this Bradley, I feel like not nearly enough people in the BBQ world know about Alabama White Sauce
I have a request or suggestion. Texas has a ton of great dried sausages for sale all across the state. However there is remarkably little information online regarding making these sausages. I would love to see a video with a recipe to make some of that dried sausage. (Granzins in New Braunfels had some of the best) Also I dig this. Going to try this one.
I love Alabama White Sauce on wings! I’ve never done it with homemade mayo, so I definitely have to try it! The one thing that I do differently, is that I’ve begun adding a little wasabi powder to complement the horseradish. (Also great in a Bloody Mary.) It’s just another “layers of flavor” tweak.
Great scene from one of the exorcist movies where they explain the sound of the cicadas. They’re all so close together due to the hive mind, and it’s the sounds of their wings rubbing against eachother, rather than grasshoppers/crickets that Chris their own wings/legs.
A family favorite. Leg quarters (cheap and good). Cooked just like the video but finish in a cooler in sauce for a minimum 20 minutes. Seems like the cause gets pulled in all the way to the bone. It is Fan-Taste-ic!
Looks amazing! I’m just confused by the cook time. Normally at 350, chicken is done in an hour or so. How did you go over 3 hours without overcooking it?
I think it’s time for some scratch made Italian sausage, peppers, and onions in tomato sauce… end of summer is tomato time, and bonus points for working some smoke in there.
Now this is at least the second video I’ve watched with the zbioticz ad where you’ve flexed a very highly allocated bottle bruh! Lol.. chicken looked great btw.. def trying!
White BBQ sauce is awesome with chicken. Worked at a restaraunt that made it and used it on a chicken/bacon/swiss sandwhich. They also had a pizza with white BBQ sauce, chicken, and bacon. Shit is addicting.
So Alabama white sauce is like Cornell sauce but thicker with a little extra flavor/horseradish? Definitely need to try this since I still make the Cornell chicken as a go-to after watching that video years ago! Well done!!!
Alabama white sauce is where it's at! I'm not from Alabama, but I have spent more than 1/3 of my life here. I love the BBQ in general. White sauce makes for an amazing chicken/turkey and egg salad. It's also pretty good on gyro meat, surprisingly.
Great channel! I would like to request a video on BBQ baked beans! And I know this is a meat channel, but I know you have a great potato salad recipe! :)
Bradley, I have some finicky eaters so I remove the back and breast bones before the cook. Works great for the simple breast slicing. That white sauce looks great! Gonna have to add this one to the "to do" list.
Looks amazing but typically you let the sauce set up on the grill - you end up with a glaze that you can’t really see but has all flavor. I think what you did letting it rest with the glaze on for that long does approximate it though.

Chuds BBQ, sponsored by binge drinking 😉
It’s the cicadas in the background that makes this video authentic.
Don't get any ideas Bradley, pls🥺 I know cicadas are edible. You will get a big skinny thumbs down!
I love how you refuse to compromise and always make your own...well, everything. It inspires me to be a little less lazy when I'm cooking.
Alabama White Sauce is a true gem. I love it. Well done.

Layer that flavor brother!!!
I am loving Alabama white sauce. Thanks for sharing!!
A little dash of cayenne. Chef John would approve.
love alabama white sauce. goes good as a dip too.
As an Alabamaian, you get two thumbs up!

Great video from start to finish! Being from Alabama, I'm kinda partial lol
That color is incredible!!! I can almost taste that sauce, Look'in Good!
Looks great brotha keep up the great work!
A family favorite. Leg quarters (cheap and good). Cooked just like the video but finish in a cooler in sauce for a minimum 20 minutes. Seems like the cause gets pulled in all the way to the bone. It is Fan-Taste-ic!
Just a casual Stagg pour. Gotta love it😅
Looks amazing! I’m just confused by the cook time. Normally at 350, chicken is done in an hour or so. How did you go over 3 hours without overcooking it?
I’m wondering the same thing?
My experience every cooker cooks different. 350 on mine for 3 hours may not work the same as it does on yours.
Agreed, I though the same. I'm cooking this right now 😋
Wtf, just saw a YT Short by another content creator about this sauce. Now I’m pumped that Chud did a WHOLE FREAKIN VIDEO on this stuff!
Still hoping to see a Pastrami sausage one of these days. Great video as always!
In Alabama here, grew up on Big Bob Gibsons!
I think it’s time for some scratch made Italian sausage, peppers, and onions in tomato sauce… end of summer is tomato time, and bonus points for working some smoke in there.
Uh oh!! My backyard chickens better watch out!! 😆
some alabama white lightning plus pork shoulder plus mac-n-cheez on a pretzel bun...oh hell yeah
My favorite bbq combo
Now this is at least the second video I’ve watched with the zbioticz ad where you’ve flexed a very highly allocated bottle bruh! Lol.. chicken looked great btw.. def trying!
It looks like that chicken never missed leg day!!!
Casually whipping out the Stagg! 💪
I was wondering if anyone else caught this subtle flex lmao
I also use Porter Road and Cook's Venture for meat
Pretty good timing with this one!😂😂😂
I've made this sauce several times - it's great!
This is the 3rd food TY channel that has focused on Alabama white sauce within a few days. Crazy Is this national Alabama white sauce month?
Chickens looking stronk, brother.
Would you recommend trying the direct heat method on a Weber Kettle or would it end up burning the skin?
Nice job man. Next time I'm in town I'd love to pop in and cook with you! Cheers brother!
Dude, nice choice on the Stagg! Cheers!
Looked delicious. Going to try the white sauce, which I’ve never had.
Another great recipe! Cheers Bradley!
I tried Zbiotics and couldn't really tell a difference the next morning. Oh well, I gave it a shot. 😉
Add grilled onions, jalapeños and use cream cheese instead of mayo. I guarantee you’ll enjoy it! We eat them all the time and they’re fire!!!!
Saw a video of a bone in brisket, can’t think of a better person than Chud to tell us if there is a difference!
Alabama White Sauce Spatchcock Turkey for Thanksgiving? Yes please.
Man that looks delicious!! Definitely gonna try that this weekend..
I remember being a kid and catching them on mesquite trees
How high is the grill from the coals on the chud box?
Just did this tonight. All I got to say is DELICIOUS.
We love AL chicken. And there's nothing like chicken over the coals. Planning on doing some very soon.
It’s coleslaw chicken So good!!
White BBQ sauce is awesome with chicken. Worked at a restaraunt that made it and used it on a chicken/bacon/swiss sandwhich. They also had a pizza with white BBQ sauce, chicken, and bacon. Shit is addicting.
I'm craving a Newk's Q right now
Made me feel like I was at Big Bob Gibson's watching Chris Lilly dunk a whole chicken in that big pot of white sauce. Good stuff.
Don’t forget the meat curtains 😂. Gobble gobble
This cook reminds me of Turkey ribs w/ white bbq sauce I had out in Louisville Ky.. mmmmm Turkey ribs

Make direct heat Dino Beef Ribs in the Mini Chudbox!!!!!!!!!
Ready to try making the white sauce looks tasty
My man! Didn’t know you were into the good brown water, Stagg! Let’s do some bourbon and bbq next time you visit KY.
So Alabama white sauce is like Cornell sauce but thicker with a little extra flavor/horseradish? Definitely need to try this since I still make the Cornell chicken as a go-to after watching that video years ago! Well done!!!
Anyone know what the grill torch/gun is?
So, dumb question. Whats the difference between the direct heat method on your chud box, and doing this on a Weber over charcoal?
Do it. It will come out exactly the same. Just keep an eye on your vent positions
"sprayable wagyu beef tallow" my mouth dropped lmao.
That thumbnail brought me in instantly
wellll I know what i'm smokin this weekend!
Just got myself some more sausage stater mix again and chub rub and that sweet looking apron can't wait to break it in
Lol dig that stagg jr, or rather not so junior anymore 😂
Damn YOU! Now i gotta go buy a chicken and the items to make that sauce... Thanks for the Vid! 👍👍💪💪
I feel like Chud grew up in Illinois. He has an Illinoisan accent. It will be confirmed with an Ope 😊
Do you have the white sauce recipe anywhere?
Two thumbs up 👍👍
Alabama white sauce is where it's at! I'm not from Alabama, but I have spent more than 1/3 of my life here. I love the BBQ in general. White sauce makes for an amazing chicken/turkey and egg salad. It's also pretty good on gyro meat, surprisingly.
You love your Dog sooooo much ! I so understand that animal love 😊 even got a soft spot for Dat Damn Boot Snake 😂
Alabama white chicken 😂 funny fact.. the process of getting an Alabama chicken ready is to beat the devil outta’em with a folding chair 😂😂
Chud with the Stagg Jr flex. Love it. Great videos, keep 'em coming!
Great channel! I would like to request a video on BBQ baked beans! And I know this is a meat channel, but I know you have a great potato salad recipe! :)
Looks good...will try it
Awesome man
Great video!
Love your content bro! Could you add quantities for the sauce ingredients in the description?
Heck yeah
For the algorithms
🎉
Well, I know what to have for dinner.
Bradley, I have some finicky eaters so I remove the back and breast bones before the cook. Works great for the simple breast slicing. That white sauce looks great! Gonna have to add this one to the "to do" list.
Dry brine for a few days? Won't the meat go bad in that time?
Damn that looks good.
AWS is a favorite sauce of mine .
Beautiful yardbird
what's not to love folks?
Looks amazing but typically you let the sauce set up on the grill - you end up with a glaze that you can’t really see but has all flavor. I think what you did letting it rest with the glaze on for that long does approximate it though.
Love white sauce chicken. Nothing like it.
“In Alabama we just call it chicken”
You ate that whole bird 😲
Full chickens take way less time. How is that not dry?
No Miller Light?😮
Bradley you need to put out a shirt like that come a rookie move if you don't already have it so don't bash me thank you😅😅😅😅
Hey I remember that charachter from Preacher!
How you stay in character doing family guy Cool Hwip with your `Q` words is an understatement, you are a funny mofo, Brad! Luck and love dude!
You don’t have Alabama white sauce chicken if you don’t use Big Bob Gibson’s white sauce
