A trip of lifetime Everest base camp trek: I am sharing 15 useful tips no one tells you about trek to Everest base camp.
1. Planning and making a perfect itinerary including acclimatization is very important
2. You don't have to be superfit to complete the Everest base camp trek
3. The slower you go, the better chance of trek completion
4. Pacing heart rates and breathing are super important while Everest base camp trekking
5. It's more expensive than you think - the higher you go, the more expensive it gets
6. Keep well hydrated. Drink 4-5 litter water every day and avoid alcohol
7. Avoid buying plastic water bottles, instead drink tap water using purification tablets, save money save the environment.
8. Be careful what you eat and drink, avoid can food and meat along the Everest base camp trek.
9. Carry enough local currency for your trek to Everest base camp
10. Most of the places mobile data works to be connected with your loved ones on the way to Everest base camp
11. You'll have to pay to charge your electronic devices on the EBC trek
12. To avoid the crowd don’t go to Everest base camp in the month of April and October
13. Follow the simple rules to avoid altitude sickness, walk slow, eat and drink more and have enough rest
14. If you are kicking by altitude sickness along the trek don’t wait to turn back until it goes into a serious condition. Because the best medicine is to go down for altitude sickness.

Hi There, as per the new rules solo trekking in nepal is banned. However the everest region can be done solo and guide is not mandatory as per the khumbu pasanglhamu municipality. Can you please confirm on this. I would like to know as per the revised rules can one do solo ebc? Thanks in advance
