I just bought that sound machine and it’s awesome! Also I read that babies love white noise because in the womb it’s actually really loud in there with our heartbeat, organs, outside noise, etc. 🥰
It’s amazing how much u can buy for a new baby! With my first i bought sooo much, with the second I was much wiser n only got the stuff that was absolutely necessary. Enjoy the nesting, that’s the calm before the storm!!
This bassinet is great, with my first baby I didn’t had the space to have it, but with second baby we were in a new house and it was one of the best things ever to have for a newborn 😊

I currently have a 10 week old that has the exact same problems that Jackson had and it has really scared me to have any more children since my first one is such a fussy baby. Seeing you now pregnant with your 3rd gives me hope that it will get better and that it is possible to have another child even though you got traumatized before 🤣 all the best!
How exciting. I prefer a single piece pacifier just for safety. So no parts come off and I think it’s more sanitary. NUK comfy orthotics was a favorite. My daughter enjoyed it. Shape was good and easy to clean. Durable. Just a thought. But you never know, some babies never even take one. Super excited for you!! ❤

God is so good and faithful. I was also iron deficient in my last pregnancy and had to have two rounds of iron infusion. It wasn’t bad at all and helped with my energy levels and I actually bled a little less this time than with my first pregnancy! Not sure if that was from the infusion or not lol but it was definitely worth it for me!

I sure hope your delivery goes really smoothly and very little pain!!!!!! I was in labor for 32 hours straight with my first baby and and I dilated to a 7 and then had to have an emergency C Section bc her heart rate dropped to 10 and I was terrified!!!!!!! I had to go pee and I felt like my insides were falling out bc of the dilation !!!!!!!! The nurses were throwing scrubs at my husband as they were running down the hall to the surgery suite sleep and I missed the birth of my first child but my husband got to hold her immediately that he could see the birth of the baby and it was such an emergency that I had to be put to sleep and her cord was wrapped around her head twice so it was good the did the c section bc the Dr told us that she would of probably have ceribal palsey bc of the cord wrapped around her head and when I had a Contraction it would cut off her oxygen and if I had given birth naturally she would of died or had CP!!!!!!! So I am so so thankful that my Dr caught that and saved my baby!!!!!
We had the Owlet and the false alarms stressed me out. We also read in multiple places the alarm actually didn't go off at all in cases when babies were actually in distress.
I started watching your videos from when your son was a newborn/infant and had reflux as we are currently working through that with my son who will be one month old in a few days. I'm 34 and can't imagine being pregnant again at this time. I wish we had started earlier as I feel pretty rushed if we want to have a second.
Although I totally get wanting your baby to take a pacifier, especially if you have a clingy baby. But in the long run it's almost nicer if your baby won't take one. My first wouldn't take one at all but my second did and now we're going through the weaning process with both girls sharing the same room 🙃

Have you all installed cameras in your house yet? We had the same issue where our packages were not being delivered and once we installed cameras it turned out our neighbor was taking them 😞
The owlet may not work if it has been in the closet for the last few years and hasn’t been charged. Like a car battery, it’ll die out. We experienced that last time… but with this one, we kept it plugged in in-between kids. And it still works! Hope yours still holds a charge! And Google the owlet; they now have FDA approval! 🎉
Word of warning for the sound machine! I had a portable one that was shaped like an owl and I really liked it. So I ordered a second one and for some reason the second one had this terrifying voice that would come on after the 30 minute timer was up. So practice with your sound machine sending it for 30 minutes just to make sure that when the 30 minutes is up it just turns off instead of making some weird noise.
Hay Kayla, Target , Amazon and buy buy baby all have little bags you get for free for doing a registry. It has bottles, paci, bottles, wipes all kind of stuff. You should do a registry to get the free stuff. Also I BF both kids for 2yrs and they both took a paci but I would recommend staying away from Avent paci cause my daughter has a over bite cause of that paci my son used Maam and his teeth are fine
Is there a reason some ppl wash everything even when it is new? As Kayla was unboxing some things, she kept saying she had to wash it (clothes, ect)- I never washed my kids clothes when they were new🤔 They are both super healthy and happy, so nothing bad happened- so I always wondered by ppl do the extra work lol. Anyone know?
My advice is stick to paci until 6 months, they should get used to it once they start teething, parents give up too soon! God bless you thanks for the vlog❤

Warning for the itzy ritzy pacifiers!!!! They only have 0-6 month size. Some of them come bigger and some smaller(or they expand with use). They are the only ones my baby will take so now we are left with only one she will take because I order new ones and they are too small she refuses them

I was the same way with pacifiers with my first! With my second, I gave her one once my milk came in. No problems breastfeeding and baby is happy!

...foods like raisins and prunes have a lot of iron in them!!!!!! Same with lentils- great in a soup or salad!
