Well I just want to say that for me the best suppressor made is The Hunter Supply, ...Texan Short Shroud 457. It makes my Texan so quiet , that its indoor friendly, so what else can I say. But in addition you've got to add The Sharp Shooter X Ring, if you want tighter groups when you shoot and better accuracy, and for all the barral vibration to be eliminated. This Barrel Deresonator, is a must, especially for long range shooting......happy shooting;;;
Can you tell me how the fine tune dial works. Does it increase when rolled to the right or does it increase when rolled to the left. I am using 311 grain and curious approximately where this dial should be set. I do not have a chronograph so anywhere close is helpful. Thanks for your input!
I would recommend getting a chronograph this is the best way to find optimal speed of your projectile. The power wheel is more like a fine tuning adjustment. with the breech open turn the wheel counter clockwise. you should see the threads disappear. this will tighten the spring. please understand that this is not always the most efficient way to go. thanks for the question.
Thanks for clearing the fine tuning dial up. The gun shoots great and is primarily used for hunting. I set the fine tune about 3/4 ight and it seems about right. Great accuracy and repeatable performance!

just purchased a 45 Texan, at what yardage do you sight it in at , 25, 50, or 100?
