    Ok, so I'm 7 years late to the party. But hey, I've got great news. Even by today's standards your belt is still perfectly viable. Very nice setup. Thanks for the video.

    Nice belt set up. Clean and simple. Really nice dump bag, I find other ones to bulky to fit nicely on the belt. It would even fit good on a 50mm equipment belt. Great channel by the way!

    I know it's silly and it doesn't mean you shoot better, but it so nice to see a belt with everything that matches. I don't know why it erks me so much to see people with different color gear on their belts. It's so silly of me. Super nice set up.

    I stand 5'3" tall and have a 29" waist and was wandering which size I should order. Given my short stature I was also wandering if the ATS Padded War Belt Harness would work for me. The reason I ask is I've had trouble finding chest rigs that will fit me given my short stature as well as war belts that won't slide down over my hips given my small waist size.

  • @isaacr2615

    What's the inner side texture like? Is it tacky so that it grips your pants? I haven't found a review that shows the part of the war belt that touches the pants. I just wouldn't want my belt to fall off while on duty. Also, is it just friction or velcro?

    Nice video with great info. With the AR as popular as it is I am surprised that you are the second video I've seen mentioning a dedicated AR Multitool. I didn't catch the brand of yours. I have the Leatherman MUT. As a backup I also have the GERBER ID Kit.

    not to sound dumb or anything but this goes over your pants right? you'll have a belt just to hold up your pants and you just put this over that, not through your pants loops?

    • @LouieTactical
      @LouieTactical  7 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      It's not dumb my brother. Yes the belt is made to go over your pants. War/Battle Belts are set up ready to go for any situation.

    • @TheTroublemakersGuild
      @TheTroublemakersGuild 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ichor20 The one I'm setting up uses a velcro inner duty belt that will weave through your pants and will velcro directly onto the war belt

  • @keithhutchison5198
    @keithhutchison5198 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love your set up. One thing though is why is the cobra riggers belt worth $45 more than the standard insert belt unless you are connecting to some harness? Thanks

    • @mattr7118
      @mattr7118 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keith Hutchison the standard belt has plastic buckles. They have a tendency to unclip under high amounts of pressure and also break and get scratched easily from laying down and going prone. The large plastic buckle also has a tendency to dig into you if you bend over to grab something at your feet. The standard belt also isn't a thick and rigid as a riggers belt. The rigidity of the internal belt plays a huge role in making sure the belt remains flush to your body, instead of folding over when you mount a lot of weight to it.

    • @keithhutchison5198
      @keithhutchison5198 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok thanks. so it is better belt, not just from buckle.

    • @LouieTactical
      @LouieTactical  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a 34 waist and I use a large brother. Medium will fit but you will have a more open gap in the front. Its not really a big deal as long as your internal belt is a large. 👍

    Is the belt 1.5 or 1.75 inches?

    • @LouieTactical
      @LouieTactical  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lawrence Moon Hello Lawrence! The Taco pouches are smoke green (I couldn't tell the difference when I put the HSGI bleeder pouch next to the tacos. and its in OD green), the condor Ipouch is in OD green as the Ragnarok holster and HSGI bleeder pouch. The EGL dump pouch is in Ranger green. I have the belt at 1.75 inches :)

    • @basp-ef7jx
      @basp-ef7jx 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LouieTactical yeah, i keep them too. In a plastic bag where my extra mags are kept. What good do they do stuck to the mag. What do you think will happen to them when the spent mag goes flying? Useless thing, only left on mags by people who don't actually use their mags.

    • @LouieTactical
      @LouieTactical  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@basp-ef7jx i keep them on my mags that way i don't have to look for them in a plastic bag somewhere. Plus being mounted on the bottom of the mag protects the bottom when its dropped for mag change. And I know cause i do a lot of shooting and actually use my equipment. Anyways my mags MY choice.

    • @mattr7118
      @mattr7118 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The color is named ranger green. Like it is patented as "ranger green". What would make him not be a wannabe? Black? Then you'd probably comment saying he's a wannabe SWAT team member. Multicam? You'd comment the same thing, wannabe soldier. The color is a preference as well as to help camouflage yourself depending on the area you live in.
      In my case, OD Green (Olive Drab) blends the best, because I'm in Washington. Also the traditional woodland camo, or ATACS FG or kryptek mandrake would work the best. But the most popular and readily available color to me is OD green, so 90% of my gear is OD. If I were to drive to my cabin, it'd be best for me to wear coyote brown because it's more dry and desert-like. ATACS AU and Kryptek Highlander would also work best. But most gear is not sold in those patterns, so I go with coyote brown or desert MARPAT.
      You have to choose what's the best color pattern for you and blends with your environment the best. That's the whole point of different camouflage.
