    I like this. I'm a 39 yo Marine veteran with a trashed back. 15 minutes into wearing a plate carrier throws me into pain with vomiting. This belt appears to be a viable option.

    Once you realize how easy a cobra buckle belt is for when you need to drop a deuce, you may never bother with a conventional belt again. . .

    Does it bounce around?

  • @mcal9320
    @mcal9320 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Drill some holes in the belt through the plastic liner. Place 4-6 wide zip ties ( essentially making belt loops), super glue the ties so they dont tighten (make them loose enough to fit a belt through.
    Then thread a standard belt through trpuser loops, while threading the battle belt on as well.
    Then the battle belt will be attached to the trouser belt and it wont move on you.

    • @KitBadger
      @KitBadger  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sure that would probably work pretty good as long as the zipties held. But it was never that big of an issue for me. And now, most companies run a belt system with a inner and outer belt with respective velcro fields. Whatever works though. Thanks for watching!

    • @mcal9320
      @mcal9320 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kit Badger works well for me, I use the wider 100# ties.
      It keeps the belt fixed around the waist. It dosent ride up or move.
      Ive never had the ties fail, they are more secure than velcro.
      Its a cheap and easy fix, ymmv.

    • @KitBadger

      @KitBadger  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly I have never given them a go. I don't find the weight for me to be an issue. More often than not the belt rides up slightly, like moving from the the prone to standing...

  • @hisheroisjon
    @hisheroisjon 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    which do you prefer? the brokos or the attackpak? or something new?

    • @KitBadger
      @KitBadger  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a good question and a tough call... As to something new, there is a lot on the market, but I don't have any experience with any of them. Between the Brokos and Attackpak, I have used the Brokos a lot more. In part because it is "just" a battle belt. Where as the Attackpak belt is often being used with my back pack.
      Ultimately probably the Brokos between the two. I love how the Attackpak belt stays securely in place with the inner belt, but I like how the Brokos sleeve is sized larger for me so I have more room to put things, to include up front.
      Hope this helps!

    • @hisheroisjon
      @hisheroisjon 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kit Badger , I snagged a Gadsden Dynamics enhanced ear belt a while back and I think it is top notch, and fairly low profile. Also cheap if you consider that for less than 100 bucks it came with a cobra buckle and 3 built in magazine pouches similar to the BFG( although the are permanently affixed.)
      Good to know about the brokos, I am looking at another belt to try out and that may be just the ticket.
      Thanks!

    • @KitBadger
      @KitBadger  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! I haven't had a chance to use one of theirs yet, but I've heard good things about the company.
