@@Dani-in4kj i know the tt suit of McNulty is the exception, but the road NC jerseys of UAE is plain and boring. On the other hand Rapha is known for amazing jerseys.
I have marshalled for the USA Pro Nationals the last few years when it was in Knoxville, TN. I must say we had about 100 times the number of spectators than I am seeing in this video. USA Cycling, please bring the Nationals back to Knoxville!
Yeah the courses all were absolutely fine but that's a wild lack of spectators for both the men's and women's elite road races and time trials. I'll give the crits a pass for bad weather but this is a beautiful Sunday afternoon in May.
I agree the crowds are pretty disappointing but what do you expect when you have a race in a town of 50k and the metro area is 300k? USA Cycling needs to get enough money to have the US Champs back in Philly or SF or a big city with a huge race day. The crowds in Philly were awesome and SF GP was amazing also. Just get the money to make it a big deal and the fans will come. We can do better with city selection. Certainly the cities in Southern Wisconsin/Milwaukee (ToAD), Chicago (Intelligensia) and St. Louis (Gateway) bring out very big crowds, as does Tulsa Tough. In addition to those cities mentioned above, people would for sure come in big numbers in LA, Seattle or Portland, and Denver/Boulder. Make it a big deal event with compelling courses, and people will be there!
@@tomfitz3324 I'm from WV and was there for that race. It was amazing to be so close to the action of such a big event. McNulty almost ran over me during the warm ups. I agree Charleston is not the best place, but I had a great time.
Great effort by Brandon to be there at the finish after getting worked over hard. McNulty is a beast. Edit: McNulty is already on the US Olympic road team with Matteo Jorgensen.
They had been attacking since like 50km left. Those last few attacks were basically Neilson's 15-18th bullets. Sean stopped attack right before this video starts
For the ones thinking crits rides are pro level . Just poor amateurs. clear example here only world tour riders on the podium by the way only three world tour rides attended to the event .
It worked out for EF, but it seems like Quinn should have attacked as soon as BM brought them back to NP. Must be something going on I don't understand.
@@craigg9742they was attacking him 50 km out maybe 20-30 between the two if it was neutruel they still would of most likely helped each other however limiting it
Wish it would have been McNulty so we could see the Stars and Stripes supporting Pog in France
He isn’t on the TDF squad yet. His focus is on the Olympic gold this year
UAE hates NC jerseys with a passion. Look at Pogi, you barely notice the slovenian flag. EF/Rapha will do it so much better.

I was up on Bridge Road for this race.
Where did you hang out?
What a great race from Mc Nulty !!!

I worked it when it was in Greenville SC. We had amazing crowds. We have many retired pros here. Greenville is definitely a cycling town.
insanely good finish !!!
Great finish !
Not going to find a harder working rider than Brandon NcNulty... KUDOS, USA Cycling, GREAT week of RACING.!!!!! THANK YOU.!!!
Good job on announcing the race Lauren Hall
Where is the shot across the finish line?
I want try this but was worried where to go and we get lost
after all that you cannot even show the finish line overhead or anything to show how close?
Not sure why EF didn't keep stressing McNulty long before the finish.

Believe it or not...THEY DID>!!!! Brandon kept his cool!!!!
Sweet!
Way to go buddy!

Rather see the amateurs than a European team win nationals.
Well done EF, happy for Quinn back from injury
Dang WVa- where y’all at ??
Thanks again for the content
Any time
It's very hard 2 vs 1. we will never know if a long distance attack would have worked. I think it could.
Damn, Neilson get out of the way!
why on earth would you box your teammate in????? Im mad watching from my couch lol
McNulty swung left to force that.
Who are the announcers? Give them some shine!

Big sprinter guy, he was saving it for the finish
Chess on wheels.
Greenville. Wv not a cycling crazy state.

I’m surprised. No legion at this race?
As far as professional culling goes, you're pretty ignorant as well. 🤷🏽♂️🍻
It's tactics but if you sit on a guy for the last few kilometers, at least have the class to not make a big deal of celebrating at the finish.
It's for the national jersey, man. They're all friends. Of course you celebrate!!
Two team mates against one. What total crap. Sad ending. No honor.
Have you seen bike racing before?

Honor? Bike racing is cutthroat, babe!
Teams were allowed but McNulty is the only American on Team UAE
@@vietle8157 yeah and that’s not exactly fair for that reason, it shouldn’t be a team event
