Husky renovation of Citroen Safari. Die-cast model. Special guest Citroen Corgi.

Today I am restoring Citroen Safari by Husky, which took third place in the plebiscite for the renewable cars of this company. I included two Citroen models in the video because during its production the company decided to enlarge the model. The film has subtitles in many languages. To view subtitles at the bottom of a video, press C on a computer or three dots on a mobile phone while in a video.
There is also a guest appearance by the Citroen Corgi, which was produced as a continuation after the Metoy company suspended production of the Husky model. My Citroens were complete. The only thing they lacked was boats that were placed on the roof. Since I didn't have a single piece to make a copy, I helped myself by using the boat that was included in the Matchbox model. I also made a copy of the box. This time it was quite difficult because this type of packaging was rare at Husky and it was very difficult to find suitable photos on the Internet. Excellent restorations. A very attractive set of 3 variants in bright colours. Smooth, glossy paint finish. I have never seen a box for Husky - only blister packs. The box artwork is superb. Unusual move in that the quality of the later versions improved over the earlier production: metal base and wire sprung suspension, instead of plastic.

Corgi and Husky are the same factory but Husky was a brand for Woolworth.I bought a lot of this Husky car. My favorite was the VW Käfer in blue with suitcase.

These screws are screwed in torx keys, not with an allen key According to my markings on the box with screws, the number of the key is T6
