I recently bought The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + 1% from Lazada and I found lots of counterfeit versions of it!
I decided to also buy the fake one to see the difference for myself. The fake one looks a little bit okay except when you do a side-by-side comparison of it already!

So I had my 10% plus zinc 1% before and the text was in Korean(the front of the bottle) Well I’ve seen the original the ordinary products that is in English like the texts are written in English so my first product was in Korean, so I was like what If it’s was fake, but then when I bought the second bottle of the ordinary serum and it was in Korean too I really wonder if it was fake, but like I don’t think that is fake because of the price and I think that it’s packaging in Korea, I don’t know so I really need to know that if something is wrong with my serum LOL
The batch code (TCC1) that you showed as original is not available in any record.. But the 9C51 code is available.

On the left side it is made from korean that is why there is a korean translation fonts while on the other side maybe it is made from other country like canada and not all are fakes. The best thing to do to find out if it is fake is the fonts and the texture of serum

Both of them are original, and you’re right. Im not sure whether the video one is both real/fake. But i do know they hv different packaging. I have both versions and both of them have the same smell, texture and effectiveness.
I bought it from my pharmacy...here in egypt...it is more close to the original but for example it says
With 30% alpha hydroxy acids instead of with 10% niacinimide
There is no korean on the package at all

I think so too! I am the new one to the ordinary products and I've watched another video about old and new bottles versions all about color changed, bottles changed, word size changed, ... I think you might try it on small part of your neck before have conclusion
I think both are original, right one is the older one while left one is updated .

I have already watched another video that they have upgraded the serum ordinary which is the packaging and the formula. The old packaging is more likely the fake one you show and the new one is the original bottle you show. And the latter underneath the bottle can comes in different color. It sad to say if the original only came in the blue color .. and sometimes the color may change because of the lighting. Pardon me I'm just sharing what i think everyone should know.😁

I bought this two weeks ago and I got mixed appearance of your fake and original. I can’t say it is fake because the shop has good reviews in Thailand and sold thousands of the same item with the same packaging that you showed.
same here.. i also got mixed appearances like the dropper is white but dropper has no gap with the cap ..and half of the labelling is similar to the original one and half of the labelling is similar to fake one
Same here. Also in Thailand. From Lazada Konvy store. Outer package exactly as in the video. But bottle have some things like the fake one.
I bought some profucts from Lazada, and it smelled weird and the color was a little bit different from what I bought in Korea (Olive Young), from that time, I never buy cosmetics in Thailand assuming that everything can be fake…. And products from Sephora and Watsons are ridiculously expensive
(The shop on Lazada had good revies though)
But TH-camrs tell us it's okay if it foams. Mine has all original features except it doesn't foam.

hi, does both of them if you rub faster and longer it shows foam? and what is the smell of both of them
The cheaper one is more foamy, it’s almost like soap and just within 2 seconds of rubbing it to the skin it changes its texture. The other one only changes after rubbing it for a longer period and if you add 3+ drops.
With the smell, I really cannot explain how the cheap one smells like but it almost smells like a faint glue, but still strong. The other one kind of smells like a tiny bit of glue bec of zinc, but only if you sniff too hard lol

The original one has a sour ish smell and the fake one smells a bit like dollar bought glue with a bit of a sour ish smell
And for texture,the original one is runny but a bit thick and not clear,while the fake one is just runny and clear

What makes you think the ones written in Korean is original? Are you aware that Canada is the original country where The Ordinary products are made? And they speak both English and French!
