    10% is high for this but if your skin likes it then it’s not a problem. Some people skin can’t tolerate 10% . Personally I love the inkeylist one because it’s more hydrating but I apply this one as a spot treat!

      I'd consider niacinimide more as a layer of a protection against sun and retinol, for the skin to absorb bit slower. i dont think it's for me to benefit more really, but it might take more time as right now it's stil too soon to speak

      @@sean.louise Niacinamaid should be for all skin types.
      I have oil nose, T point basically with forehead. I wouldnt really say niancinamaid really helps with acne that much, you can buy benzoyl peroxid as a wash (cleanser) or seprate as standalone like retinol or BHA.
      BHA and benzoyl should help the most, retinol is really good if you have pimpls or shit after shaving, it reduces it to dust after few days, using moist and sunscream is also by far the most important thing, to shield your skin from damage, otherwsie you are nullyfing results and doing worse.
      Eucerin's acne prone suncream is good, factor 50, fights sebum (oil production) and casues less pimpls or acne.
      I'd say benzoyl peroxide is the most underrated ingredient, trya using it and see how it works with you, my skin can handle 4% cleanser easily. At the beginning i got irretation from retinol and so on, but now i can get on my skin whatever i basically want. prob cos of niacinimida cos it also acts as a layer of protection against rashness of active ingredients.

    Use 1-2 drops of 5% Niacinamide serum first and distribute it evenly onto the skin, do this only once a day for 2 weeks. If you still breakout badly youre allergic to it, but if not keep going and start increasing your dose slowly to 10%. This helped my dull, oily, irritated, acne marked skin.

Use it for a good 3 nights with moisturizer and if there is any redness, itching, burning, stinging, or breakout I suggest stopping. A lot of people can’t handle niacinamide, all testing, trials, research for its benefits were done with 5% niacinamide so the 10 is pretty high strength.

      Retnoids can help with scaring, texture, redness, and a variety of other skin conditions just make sure you fine one that works best for you and patch test it before use because if used wrong it can damage the skin. For scaring you an also use an acid peel like the ordinary AHA BHA acid peel however that has the highest concentration you can get over the counter so if you’ve never used acid peels before you will want to work up to that with a lower concentration. I think Cassandra banks has a lot of videos on acne scaring and redness and she has more product recommendations so I’d recommend watching some of her videos :)

    Niacinamide in serum form is the worst choice for sensitive skin, using cerava pm lotion is good enough already because it has niacinamide, ceramides and hyaluronic acid in the right concentrations so serums should be replaced with a moisturizing formula, a lot of lotions and moisturizers are available with niacinamide

    • @rosey8166
      @rosey8166 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nicamide will reduce it but apply 2-5% if you are begginer and use it at night it will be productive. And donot apply any type of product just use sunscreen even in night.

    I also used ordinary niacinamide 10% and idk why it gave me more breakouts. (Before using it i had just 3 pimples then it became like 8.) 😢 I continued upto 3 weeks then stopped because i feel scared to use more since there wasn't any results. Was it becz of the high concentration of niacinamide or anything else...
