This is my take on The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum comparison (Fake vs Original product). Orders were placed via ShopeePH (thegreen.ph) and BeautyMNL .
Also, a word of notice lang! Counterfeits have increased through-out the hype of The Ordinary, this is just a personal view on the products I bought from these specified shops. With the plethora of factors to be considered, Deciem (The Company of The Ordinary) currently does not have a full-proof method of determining the fake ones, so always go by USER REVIEWS, and TRUSTED Shops! Keep safe, everyone!

Nabili ko sa Beautymnl yung the ordinary niacinamode pero kasi may amoy syang glue though hindi naman malakas and nawawala yung amoy pero pag inapply ko sya may napapansin akong white foam na sinasabi mo. 3 weeks ko na ginagamit and effective sya kasi lumiit yung pores ko tapos mabilis syang makatanggal ng pimples and hyperpigmentation.
So original yung nabili ko. Thank you! Worried kasi ako akala ko fake kasi medyo amoy glue.

When it doesn't have a black line at the back upper part Just like in a toothpaste, tsaka malalamanan mo rin po kasi sa kulay palang niya theres a big difference kasi sa original it's more like a mettalic color, kesa sa fake na may pagka brownish siya, yun lng po ang alam ko, pero sa Karton packaging palang malalaman mo na tlga sya agad, kasi it's velvety to touch ung original ung fake parang normal lng na karton na may pagka gloss ng konti yun yung feeling pag hinawakan mo..

I bought one sa Shopee Mall. The packaging is okay, pero pag bukas ko kasi nung product tas nung inamoy ko amuy panis na laway or parang glue. Kaya mejo kinabahan ako. I got it Php 400+ lang kasi it went on sale. 30ml. Mejo confusing talaga if orig yung nabili ko. Huhu

I think those codes are batch codes din kasi kaso wala naman talagang makakapagsabi talaga kasi never pang nagrelease ang DECIEM (company ng the ordinary) ng official statement HAHAHA Anyway, clearly sa experience may significant differences talaga sa dalawa, it all boils down sa formulation and effect sa skin. Opo since ang barcode naman ay Universal Identity ng product. Kaya 'di rin masiyadong reliable ang pagtingin sa barcodes kasi for ipapakita niya lang 'yung uri/description ng product.

Actually, mahirap din talagang i-identify kung yung nabili natin is authentic or not kasi sabi nila The Ordinary usually change their packaging and formulation from time to time :(( so hindi consistent na laging same-same lang yung nabibili natin
So ang basis na lang to ensure if it's authentic or not, is yung batch code na naka-indicate sa box and bottle nila. Kaso miski yun parang ang dali lang din gayahin :((

No po. The serial code is the BATCH CODE. Meaning it’s a unique serial code for EVERY MANUFACTURING DATE. 4 to 5 letter code lang siya, napaka impossible na unique for VERY bottle

Hi! The early The Ordinary products don't have that blue mark on the bottle, but it's possible that the one you have is a counterfeit as well. Try going over the Smell, feel, and package again! Stay safe! ✨

Helloseoulph meron akong solid proof na nagccounterfeit po sila ng The Ordinary Niacinamide at naconfirm ko mismo sa DECIEM official FB page na hindi sila authorized reseller. Nireturn ko po yung product at narefund ako dahil napatunayan ko na counterfeit talaga. Kahit mukhang legit at mataas ang rating kailangan padin maging alisto especially pag hot item ang binibili online.

So no major bad effects pero wala ring good kaya I stopped. Better purchase talaga 'yung original para grabe ang benefits!
Atleast you didn’t used it too long. Some shops kasi nagcclaim talaga na authentic TO nila pero counterfeit talaga. And wag agad maniniwala sa reviews haha pero there are shops sa shopee and lazada na nagbebenta talaga ng legit TO :).

Yung sa beautyMnl faint ‘yung glue scent, medyo maasim din pag nilagay mo na sa face. Also, the foamy effect means authentic ‘yung product. Slightly thicker and cloudy din dapat ‘yung serum. They also update their product formulation and packaging from time to time, Hindi stick to one ‘tong si Abnormal company papalit palit nakakalito para sa consumer 😂 😂 Be extra careful na lang talaga sa pag bili. Nice review btw. 😊
