BTW, they are not using a greenscreen for this. I asked a friend who is in the field to take a look at this video, and she informed me that they are LED tiles. Instead of the visuals being edited in afterwards, it's more akin to them standing on a bunch of linked computer monitors. In a few moments throughout the video you can catch the seams between the tiles, particularly near Omar's feet. Biscuits with sausage gravy.

Yes, it's a kind of LED Stage & Background in the "OptiView 360", where they filmed the video this time. It's more like in the "Valhalla Calling" video, but there they were at the "Vü Studios" on a 270° LED Volume.
And the "background graphics" are made of actual photographs of telescopes, as far as I'm aware.

Tenno here (What the players are called). Warframe has some of best music I've heard in games in awhile. Warframe is this weird mix of space piracy, espionage, super soldier gameplay. The lore can be a bit complicated, but to simplify it as best I can, we're a bunch of kids who got corrupted by the Void while traveling to other solar systems. To help us cope with the insanity brought on by these new powers the Void corrupted us with, our minds were connected to a battle suit called a Warframe. After the empire we once served fell, we're now left to our own devices. We might make allies with an enemy faction, we might raid their ships for supplies or intelligence, or we might just settle down for some fishing, but no matter what we do, it's all about survival in a solar system that has been ravaged by conflicts of multiple factions vying for control.
In game, Sleeping in the Cold Below tells the tale of a Corpus inventor and merchant named Parvos Granum. The Corpus are a people filled of greed, worshiping money, and Parvos Granum is no exception. Unlike the basic Corpus, he is cold, calculating, and ruthless should you fail him. Parvos Granum was betrayed by his people, stripped of his position among the Corpus, and assassins sent after him. After a millennia hidden within a sanctuary of his own making, he's back and he wants revenge. He now has not only the money to do so, but with powers to match.
If you ever want to continue your journey into the music of Warframe, We all lift together, and For Narmer are really great as well. These songs are like mirrors of each other, one of hope, the other of despair.
Elder Scrolls Online (as well as Skyrim) has some of the best music I have heard. If you have ESO, go to Northern Elsweyr and listen to the female Khajiit singing in the crafting area. Many players, myself and my husband included, have just sat our characters at a table and listened to her sing. One or two of her songs are humorous! 😺

Definitely a space shanty! They are shipping out on a spaceship, and my sci-fi books always have some sort of Cryosleep for the extended travel. Someone said that the studio they rented was using a huge 4K LED screen. If I win the lottery I'll send one to Pattycake. A Dutch baby with Lingonberry jam. The basic melody is a shanty called Fire Marengo. It’s a shanty sung while compressing cotton into the holds of ships with a giant jack screw. It’s also used in a sugar stowing shanty.

13:13 that's my favourite part of the song. Them harmonizing like that with Geoff saying "we all bow down" part I think is so cool. I'm not 100% sure on why I like it so much. I think it's partly to do with the reversing of rolls with the harmonizing as the lead part and the singing as the backup. Plus Layne staying with Geoff. Its like playing two songs at once with Layne and Geoff as one song and the other 3 as a different song. I can only describe it as two different directions going the same same way.
I think the line is "we're all bound down," but I totally agree with you. I love that part!
Imagine, you're flying a spaceship, and you're finding a ghost ship that wants you to pilot it into a final battle. In this battle, this song plays while you fight!
The behind the scenes on this one is almost as entertaining as this cover itself 😂❤
That slide to highest note at the end the Omar, Eli and Cesar did reminded me of their Dream On one.

@@embran8486Eli was supposed to do that highest note but Cesar asked to try. He hit it, they all liked it, so they kept it. Eli and Omar were really close to being as high. It's notable mainly because Eli is a tenor and Cesar is the baritone. But really, all the guys in VoicePlay can sing tenor, baritone, bass, and beatbox... just to varying degrees.
Pancakes with bacon. I love this one, its a major earworm and they filmed it using a huge LED screen. I love Eli face on the outro trying to suss out the mask and the contacts really add to the space feel.
Sea Shanty is likely, One of the writers of the original Song is Alan Doyle who is a folk-rock artist from Newfoundland. I became familiar with him through the Group Great Big Sea. They had a fair number of sea shanty like songs and other Traditional folk music from Newfoundland and the Maritime provinces.
French toast! Also I love the contrary motion throughout this arrangement! It’s a repetitive song so the motion keeps you engaged for the whole thing 😊

That thing you feel is your brain leaking from your ears. VP has officially melted it. Between Eli's highs, Geoff's lows and Layne's beats, they managed to sneak in some little snarky bits of epicness from both Cesar and Omar.

Don't know the game or the song but as usual VoicePlay's signing was incredible and Omar is just the greatest I love it when he joins in for a song.

@@martindinner3621 Actually different place. This was OptiView 360. "Valhalla" was at Vü. Vü has much larger video walls. And this one includes a video floor.

From what I could see this was not done in-front of a green screen. I think that it was done with and LED wall/floor. You can see the "Stage" that they were filming on during the outro. As for my favorite breakfast that would have to be Biscuits & Gravy.

(Does it make me weird that I fantasize about making any or all of these things for members of Voiceplay? I just want to feed people.)

Funny that they realized after a couple hours of filming that Layne was not consistently wearing his gloves so they refilmed... yet Geoff used at least seven clips with Layne's bare hands when he edited the video. Geoff also put together the background space shots, which is why they time to the music so well.
My favorite breakfast is something my family calls Gench. I don't know where it originated from of if we just made it up but it is buttered toast topped with a fried egg and then thick spaghetti sauce. It is so good! Great reaction. I love it when voiceplay manages to break your brain. This is on of my favorite songs of theirs too and I also had never heard it but it is at the top of my voiceplay list and on all my playlists!
