Again my v3 .... Apparently ? Doesnt gave the 2 all important 12 clock dots. .... Surely all v3 are one of the same. No v3.5 etc anyone know why some v3 lack the dots ? 😮 Strange
The Swatch is harder to get than a Rolex so I bought the Pagani gold green 1701 model. Forget Swatch, Pagani is better and is 1/3 of the Swatch price. Their customer service is excellent.
There's no comparison to the original here but they've done a really solid job, definitely their best attempt yet. Also way better value than most of their other stuff.
This seems like a vast improvement, I already have a moon watch homage (albeit the Corgeut), so next homage purchase likely to be to the aqua terra, any suggestions? I like the omega swatch collaboration but they have handled it like chimps and it now looks like an exercise in greasing grey market minkeys pockets, not a good look and undoes much of the PR glitz it came with.
I got one, And better than a Moonswatch ...its metal! And a lefty sprite thanks to your great reviews. I also work as a dental technician and polished off the sharp corners and edges - in short they are brilliant! keep up the reviews!
Great video. Do you happen to know if we could get this exact V3 especially with large white hands very readable BUT with the OMEGA logo ? Does PAGANI DESIGN as well furnish the replica market with its watches ? I heard several people saying it but lost the link and name.
I just picked up the V3. It'll be here tomorrow. Did the fact that it's model 1701 and I'm a big trekkie influence me? Maybe. Honestly I kinda hope they do their own versions of the other "moonswatch" colors. Mercury and Neptune in particular.
The Moonswatch may be total phenomenon, especially for the Swatch fans. Power to them if they feel that it is worth what they payed for it. But at the end of the day the only thought that goes through my head is what other quality watches I can buy for the same price or less. I also got the Pagani Designs Moonwatch V3 from the Trendy Men's Watch and my opinion I must say that the value it offers is SUPERIOR over Swatch's Omega endorsed "toy".
@@daleluarca7037, I couldn't tell since I don't own an actual Speedmaster to compare. I wouldn't mind at all owning the real deal. I love it's history and design, but not in my budget. But yes, I will say again that Pagani Design's version is great. I also own Pagani Design's version of the Rolex Daytona PD-1644 and it is a great value as well. I recommend them both.
The moonswatch isn't an unlicensed homage tho. I appreciate homage watches (I used them to "try out" watches before buying my first Rolex) and I understand that many people simply are not in a position to buy a luxury watch. it's a bit different when the price is nearly the same.
Not bad then! Tbf... I think this is the way V1 should've been (and why I haven't bothered before to get one). Mine's arrived in the country, looking forward to see it in person. Air-King next I take it.
In my opinion the Phylida model SP-31 is the nicest Speedmaster homage out there. Between the more accurate dial layout and the Seagull ST-19 movement it's hard to beat. Yes, it cost more but that beautiful movement alone makes it worth it. It can be a little hard to aquire but they are available, you just have to be patient. I own both the regular and the TinTin version.
It is funny to think that buying an extra link for your Omega probably costs more than this whole Pagani watch lol. I don't usually do homage watches but I bought the PD version 3 and liked it so much I bought the V5 as well.
Great review. Just subscribed. The Omega is also my grail watch but I can't afford that price tag. As such, this Pagani does come close enough to scratch the itch. 😬
The swatch situation is nuts, I'm not impressed at all by what they've done.....however the star of the show here of course is the PD and they've done a great job....I'm conflicted by the date window, personally I'd rather they didn't put it on there and as always the branding, it would look much better with just the stylised logo....are these deal breakers, not at all....this is a fantastic looking piece at a bonkers price....although we all love mech and auto these VK movements are extremely impressive and I'm more than happy to have a good balance of quartz/autos in my collection....I believe it's time we see some colour variants, yes black is sleek but bright orange or yellow would be insane.....what would look absolutely amazing would be a similar purple to the VB you recently reviewed....🏴⌚🏴⌚
It really is! It's a shame because I was fully on board until the madness. I think you're spot on, the date window shouldn't really be needed. I have a gold piece coming soon 😂
It looks much better with the white hands, I used to own an original omega moon watch the only memory I have of. This since I sold it due to paranoia of damage /theft is I wore it at my daughters wedding. I now have the pagnani not worried at all now but wished I’d had known they were releasing it with white hands.😧
Gary at I Like Watches said the AliExpress summer sale starts Jun 27. I assume we’ll be seeing more recommendation vids over the coming weeks. I have mentally set aside time to watch them 😁
Thinking of picking this one up. Where I live I can get it for about $74 or £62. Just a bit wary that Pagani watches sometimes have QC issues, mainly misaligned chrono hands and their bracelets leave something to be desired. But overall, still terrific value if you get a good sample.
For the value I don't think there are many better. You're right with the QC concerns however I've found that the models that are more established seem to have better QC
@@JasonTheWatchGuy yep, they can only do so much QC with the kind of money they're charging for their watches. I hope I can get a good sample. I'll let this sit in my head for a few hours before I hit the buy button. Even if you don't know what a Speedmaaster is, this PD1701 v3 is a stunner.
Great review, interesting to see how close they are considering the prices are miles apart, but you can still see how different it looks side-by-side even though it's only small changes like with the curvature of the bezel and others. Also will you review the Benyar Royal Oak? I'm a broke college kid from Indonesia so I don't think I'll be seeing myself buying any homage watches(or originals really) above 40 USD this year, or any recommendations for homage watches around that price maybe? Because I know I'll be buying a Casio sooner or later.
Hi, Jason. I bought the v2 gilt 50th anniversary Speedmaster homage about a month ago for $80. Absolutely enjoy the watch! Wore it for a week straight after it came in. I highly recommend it. @@JasonTheWatchGuy Got it, Jason. Piecing together your comment below, the green and gold Speedy homage?! Awesome. I obviously read and comment too much in these vids 😉😁
Very true, it's strange how much difference the slight change in curvature and sizing on the case makes as well as the level that dial is produced to. However, for £73 its hard to expect anything more from PD
I won’t ever want to buy or spend thousands of dollars on a watch with out a Tfit on it. But a Pagani I would buy it and not feel sad about changing the strap
As ever a great review. I think I would love it on the black strap? But that’s just me I like the moonwatch but the price is far too much for me. As Mr Spock said the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few live long and prosper.

Much rather have a Pagani Design Moonwatch V3.(I'm glad they did not put a cyclops window over the date). For the most part, Pagani Design bracelets are not that great. The MoonSwatch is a sealed case watch front and back.....a $60.00 watch at best. That's what happens when one company owns the other.
Why would Pagani put a cyclops magnifier on a Speedmaster Homage ????? First there is no cyclops on any Omega Speedie an no date. 2nd the date on the Pagani is at 4 O'clock and angled on a domed crystal so how would you align a cyclops in that location .
Hello from Frankurt Jason! Just found your channel. Excellent reviews. Subscribed.. Ok, I got the moonswatch. I'm embarrassed to say I lined up to get one. And you know, it's a piece of plastic rubbish, it feels like a toy watch, if your shirt cuff is too rough, it scratches the crystal which is not hesalite but some cheap polymer. Also, you can check "moonswatch colour leaking onto users wrists". If you get a bit of sweat, you will have the back case colour on your arm. Excuse my English but these moonswatches are an absolute piece of recycled sh*t that should have stayed in the recycling bin. Even the movement is the very cheapest one euro Ronda movement that is sealed and unrepairable. And it is not even hitting that minute marks. The watch probably is made for 5 euro. If this was for sale on Ali Express without Omega on the dial, people would expect to pay maybe 10 euro and give it to a child to play with. I advise, even if you can get one don't bother. People paying big money are just crazy. Even the 250 euro price is 240 euro too much. Excuse my English is not perfect, so I hope I am understandable..
Hello Frankfurt! That's a pretty damming report, I don't think I've seen anyone who owns one come back with a good report, definitely a collection piece rather than a horological piece
It’s not for me, but I think PD are on to a real winner here. For the price you can’t argue that it packs a hell of a lot in. I think it looks cool on the nato…better than on the bracelet. I never come into close contact, let alone handled, an Omega so can’t compare the two, but I’d be more than happy to wear the Pagani. I never took you for a MoonSwatch kind of guy 😂

I've seen some reviews saying this has a long bracelet with only a few adjustments. I have a teeny-tiny 6 1/4 inch (160cm) wrist. Did you have any problems adjusting the bracelet to fit?
Again my v3 .... Apparently ? Doesnt gave the 2 all important 12 clock dots. .... Surely all v3 are one of the same. No v3.5 etc anyone know why some v3 lack the dots ? 😮 Strange
Whats your opinion on the white face with black sub dials? I'm not sure which one i should buy.
The Swatch is harder to get than a Rolex so I bought the Pagani gold green 1701 model. Forget Swatch, Pagani is better and is 1/3 of the Swatch price. Their customer service is excellent.
So Chris, you've got a Phylida Speedee. Which do you like better, the Phylida or the Pagani?
There's no comparison to the original here but they've done a really solid job, definitely their best attempt yet. Also way better value than most of their other stuff.
They seem to have really gone for it with this line, couple of other releases in other colours
What's the lenght of a square side on your table cover? I want to get an idea of how long is the bracelet at the minimum size.
I think they're CM
If you swap out the end links of each bracelet with both watches , do they line up and fit??
Are you sure the Uncle Seiko bracelet doesn’t fit? Watch channel WR4K says it does?
I only checked the pagani on the Omega not the other way around. I do believe the US has a bigger tolerance for fitting though
Already created a gold version so who knows what's next 😁
This model should be called the 1701B (the 3rd iteration)
The Moonswatch may be total phenomenon, especially for the Swatch fans. Power to them if they feel that it is worth what they payed for it. But at the end of the day the only thought that goes through my head is what other quality watches I can buy for the same price or less. I also got the Pagani Designs Moonwatch V3 from the Trendy Men's Watch and my opinion I must say that the value it offers is SUPERIOR over Swatch's Omega endorsed "toy".
I would even go as far as to say the pagani pd1701 v3 is a better value watch than an actual omega speedmaster!
The question is...am I going to cut my fingers when I handle the pagani?
Their finishing isn't great.
No you're not
Really great to see a proper look at the V3
PD 1701. USS Enterprise of Star Trek was 1701. Nice touch Pagani. And an awesome watch. Much better than the plastic toy watch.
Nice link haha
Nice Speedmaster. Such an awesome watch. The pagani is nice but nothing beats the original 😅😊
Definitely, the original is still my favourite piece
How is the weight of the pagani compared to the original omega?
The moonswatch isn't an unlicensed homage tho. I appreciate homage watches (I used them to "try out" watches before buying my first Rolex) and I understand that many people simply are not in a position to buy a luxury watch. it's a bit different when the price is nearly the same.
Not bad then! Tbf... I think this is the way V1 should've been (and why I haven't bothered before to get one).
Mine's arrived in the country, looking forward to see it in person.
Air-King next I take it.
The Air King should be along this month 😅
Do the uncle Seiko end links fit the pagani ? . Great review as always .
They don't unfortunately. Thank you pal 👍
Is there an easy way to know I'm getting a V3 vs. V2/V1? Thanks
The white handset is the dead giveaway. If you follow my link, that's a V3
@@JasonTheWatchGuy thank you
I honestly love how you pronounce casing and Jason so that they rhyme.
😂😂😂 Thats the scouse accent for you
In my opinion the Phylida model SP-31 is the nicest Speedmaster homage out there. Between the more accurate dial layout and the Seagull ST-19 movement it's hard to beat. Yes, it cost more but that beautiful movement alone makes it worth it. It can be a little hard to aquire but they are available, you just have to be patient. I own both the regular and the TinTin version.
I still have my TinTin variant, I remember suggesting the mechanical movement to them. Strange how long ago that was now
Seems like it's gone already. Wanted to check out the price - yet I can't find this Modell anywhere on Ali. Mind updating the link? 🖖🏻
AliExpress are still selling them.
I'd love to see a head-to-head with the Phylida (and Omega original, of course).
It is funny to think that buying an extra link for your Omega probably costs more than this whole Pagani watch lol. I don't usually do homage watches but I bought the PD version 3 and liked it so much I bought the V5 as well.
I think the omega swatch has had its moment.
Shame it was not better.
Can anyone confirm, does the bracelet have screw links?
Pins if I remember correctly
Great review. Just subscribed. The Omega is also my grail watch but I can't afford that price tag. As such, this Pagani does come close enough to scratch the itch. 😬
I have the moonwatch and honestly the day you pick one up will be the best day! You'll get there 👍
The swatch situation is nuts, I'm not impressed at all by what they've done.....however the star of the show here of course is the PD and they've done a great job....I'm conflicted by the date window, personally I'd rather they didn't put it on there and as always the branding, it would look much better with just the stylised logo....are these deal breakers, not at all....this is a fantastic looking piece at a bonkers price....although we all love mech and auto these VK movements are extremely impressive and I'm more than happy to have a good balance of quartz/autos in my collection....I believe it's time we see some colour variants, yes black is sleek but bright orange or yellow would be insane.....what would look absolutely amazing would be a similar purple to the VB you recently reviewed....🏴⌚🏴⌚
It really is! It's a shame because I was fully on board until the madness.
I think you're spot on, the date window shouldn't really be needed.
I have a gold piece coming soon 😂
@@JasonTheWatchGuy a bit of bling, a mug me watch me....sound advice from uncle Albert to Rooney....🤣😂🤣😂
It looks much better with the white hands, I used to own an original omega moon watch the only memory I have of. This since I sold it due to paranoia of damage /theft is I wore it at my daughters wedding. I now have the pagnani not worried at all now but wished I’d had known they were releasing it with white hands.😧
Get it, it's better than the other versions.
Upcoming Sale? When is that and is it an AliExpress site wide or just Pagani?
Aliexpress summer sale!!!
Jason did you see the new Timex Pan Am watches ??? Just got the Chrono version ! 😮😮😮 Wow !
Jesus, where has that even come from!? Some of their latest releases are real killers
I wonder if it‘s really 10bar water resist but damn. Under 100€ chrono with (synthetic) sapphire?! That‘s hella value there!
Perfect one to go for, Guanqins longines homage, I think they're around £20, absolute bargains
@@JasonTheWatchGuy none to be found right now unfortunately, or maybe I didn't find hard enough.
I never thought I’d say this but it looks better on the NATO. Maybe a sailcloth band?
Ooo, a sail cloth band would be fantastic 😍
Hi, Jason. I bought the v2 gilt 50th anniversary Speedmaster homage about a month ago for $80. Absolutely enjoy the watch! Wore it for a week straight after it came in. I highly recommend it. As for the mystery Pagani, I’m guessing it’s either the Air King homage or the Milgauss homage. Amirite? 😉😁👍
You're slightly off, very similar to this one but a little more flashy 😁
@@JasonTheWatchGuy Got it, Jason. Piecing together your comment below, the green and gold Speedy homage?! Awesome. I obviously read and comment too much in these vids 😉😁
When compared side by side the Omega is on a different planet (or moon) but PD have made a very good effort.
I think u have a V4 - the tachymetre / tachymeter
Can we see in the back of each.
Jason-love your videos. I have an idea regarding moonswatch review. How can I contact you?
Hi Glenn, thank you!
I have my email at the bottom of the description, you can find me there 😁
As ever a great review. I think I would love it on the black strap? But that’s just me I like the moonwatch but the price is far too much for me. As Mr Spock said the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few live long and prosper.
Hello .. Sorry my question, but English is not my mother language .. Do you mean Pagani Design is better than Moonswatch? Is that right?
He’s saying that the Pagani is better made, cheaper AND readily available. If those things are important to you then objectively it’s better than the plastic Spoonwatch.
@@simonbailey2151 thanks my friend ... I really love Pagani Design watches. I have one piece (very good quality) and I want to buy one of that of the vídeo.
I'm already have a Moonie (and I won't tell you what I paid, but it was a super bargain), but as much as I think this is a sweetie, I just can't get past the VK movement and that useless 24 hour subdial that I can't even use as a GMT. Plus, the mecha-quartz is a bit tubby.
That said, this is an excellent review. Keep it up!
This will never compare once you've experienced the genuine deal! However, nice place holder for those who aren't at that level yet
I have the watch and love it. The bracelet unfortunatly is so sharp that it is hard to use
Really? Bracelet hasn't bothered me in the slightest. Bad batch maybe?
@@JasonTheWatchGuy i believe so. Its sharp both on the inside and outside of the bracelet. On the wrist its not sooo bad, bad anytime you touch it, you can feel it
Been trying to get a Phlydia Moonwatch near impossible
I still have my TinTin, don't think I'll ever part with it
@@JasonTheWatchGuy was looking at those would you recommend?
I love mine, doesnt get much wrist time now but it's a fantastic piece
Just ordered one after watching a few reviews, I think it beats the moonswatch hands down, if you pardon the pun. I will get a genuine piece one day, as the moonswatch has certainly heightened interest.
Couldn't be more right, definitely a better choice! Look forward to you reporting when you've achieved your grail mate
Anyone seen any hands on/reviews with the gold version yet? Torn between it and the pagani rose gold Daytona.
Are you asking about the gold Speedmaster homage with green dial and bezel? That looks great, but I haven’t seen any reviews of it. I too would be interested in seeing a review of that variant.
I'll have one before the latest sale
@@JasonTheWatchGuy nice one! I'll keep an eye out then
@@JasonTheWatchGuy Sweet! I believe this is an inspired colourway choice, green and gold. I’m bizarrely tempted by it, even though I already have the v2 gilt Speedy homage. Watch collecting is an illness 😁😉👍
Your Omega is a stunner
Thank you buddy, very lucky man to have one
@@JasonTheWatchGuy Sorry to say that, but it's a fake! For sure!Look at that lousy bracelet!.......
...you mean the 3rd party Uncle Seiko bracelet? The one that quite clearly doesn't have any Omega markings?
Hi Jason I also have the alpha moon watch that's a very good watch have had mine for over 5 years no probs cheers.
Ha ha ha .... I've just gotta have laugh at those watch snobs out there that always poo poo the Homage watches . They would rather go out and buy a cheaply made plastic Homage Moonwatch , I say Homage because it's not made by Omega 😂 and that the colour comes off on your wrist as well .... than buy a solid Stainless Steel Homage with Safire Crystal & solid 5 link band & rock solid Seiko movement ! I know what I'll be buying 😂😂😂
The bracelet is shit, just keep that in mind. Besides from that, it's an amazing watch for the price to be honest. Ninja edit: a word.
It's strange having them both in hand and seeing how the very slight changes make such a difference!
Hahaha, little bit of flash colours on wrist and the Omega Logo, all me 😂 wish it was a little cheaper though
@@JasonTheWatchGuy lol…..I forgot your fetish with Watch colours 🤣🤣
Awesome review, thanks for that! The whole video I was thinking, why on earth is he talking about an Amiga all the time? Then I realised you we're saying: Omega haha. I was laughing out loud for what an idiot I am. Thanks again!
Thanks for watching pal 👍
The Omega MoonSwatch is an Omega in name only! The movement is a disposable Swatch movement that can't be serviced.
Are you gonna review the green version
I have another coming up soon
@@JasonTheWatchGuy how soon? For the green 1?
Around the sale date
the watch is great. the band is shit and I have to replace it with a leather strap.
I hope what I ordered is quality. My last one. My 6th shouldn't be worst .lume is garbage ok but make the watch head good 🙏 please
I bought 4 of them for resell They are Awesome watches Seiko Meccaquartz is a reliable workhorse.Moonswatch is far over-priced due the Omega that means nothing Its only Swatch.
Just grabbed a V3
Awesome review, thank you
Thank you for watching
you should really get a decent macro lens mate
Would love to
Thanks for the review. I say forget the MoonSwatch AND Pagani and go for a Bulova Lunar pilot. More trusted brand, better specs, legit moon-related provenance, and greater originality.
I really want a Lunar Pilot, the seeming downside of it is the size and obviously the higher price.
@@JasonTheWatchGuy Yes I looked at them as well, but I have a small wrist so not good for me. I thought the price is good for the quality.
Lovely on Nato tbf
Suits the watch well too
