@@zaheerkader7426 seems like you never drove a RWD-car like these before. if you hit the brakes while counter-steering, the car will snap immediately into the direction the wheels are turned too. ESP was not activated in this situation, as you can see in the video...
mTwMarco you obviously haven't driven a c63s sideways with esp off. Hitting the brakes on modern amgs reactivates the esp and saves you.. His brake lights are off so he kept his foot in it hoping for the best with no steering input

Not a real expert racecar driver but I have played a lot of Gran Turismo Sport where this happens all too often when you try and floor the car out of a corner with no traction control (TCS). What I learned was that when the back of the car spins out like that, try and steer the car so that the front two wheel are always pointed straight with the road (where you idealy want to go) which the guy did well actually and is why the car was fine in the first half of the accident. But if you watch the slow-mo again, you will notice that when the back of the car started to swing in the other direction, the front two wheels were not corrected and was still turned to the left which just accelerated his second spin and caused the accident. It depends on the situiation but I think releasing the throttle a tad bit would help stabalise the car because the back wheels may have spun so fast it lost friction with the ground so it will just cause the back to spin out. Be aware tho that after the first spin, the car will spin back, sometimes if the back comes round too fast you will need to correct the car again and again until the back stops spinning out which u can do by releasing or reducing the throttle.
Don't take my comment as real racing advice, just explaining what i see and using my racing simulator knowledge.

It’s the opposite. He got scared and released the throttle, this made the tires go from zero grip to full grip, effectively catapulting him towards the tree.
I’m no expert either, but I have quite some experience skidding my W204 C63
@@jgripen969 you are correct. he let the throttle go instantly which caused the weels to get grip and all the kinetic energy forced the car in the direction he was steering. THe right way to do it is, to correct the steering like @tmcchamp8200 said, controling the throttle and so the traction and the most important thing.... dont shift up which I suspect the automatic did in that incident because he wasnt in manual mode

@RuiDX It looks like the rear wheel on the side that hit the tree is bent toward the outside. I also think it will need alignment on the rear and front
drive shafts, maybe even some gearbox parts, wheel bearings etc... hitting a road curb like that will results in some expensive damage, just a little bump sliding on the ice roads at very low speeds can bent the wheel out in a different direction, this was on full throttle I believe the drive shaft should have felt that :))

it hurts. i was able to drive a c63 amg a few weeks ago, it was amazing but you should always remember what youre driving with. its one hell of a mashine. you need to be really carefull when pushing a car like that to its limits.

I’m asking myself that same question I think cause lack of experience you tense up when you spin out and ur more focused on the wheel trying to correct but forgetting ur foot is on the gas

This spinning out happened to me once. I just jumped on break instead of trying to beautifully recover goin straight.
A bit ridiculous of mine since i m localy famous to be some good driver, but I saved my car at the end.

Peter not just tork, he left it either in auto or higher gear so car kept accelerating but only momentary loss of traction. Not a pro but sure as hell he could use lower gwae and not up shift to keep the momentum
