Hi Jimmy, I really like both, although, what makes the whole difference for me in Google messages is the ability to send any files on my device directly. That's a huge + specially for work. Samsung haven't had that anymore for a few years now, don't know why they took it off.
Just a comment 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Thank you for your videos.

I can't thank you enough for your feature focus format. It's so much easier to digest the byte sized chunks of information you share. Thank you.
I utilize many features you outlined in your Samsung Messages video like pinning and scheduling messages but I'm also stoked to use RCS in Google Messages. The one thing preventing me from going all in with Google Messages is that when using it with my Galaxy Buds I get annoying repeated messages even those marked as read. If you know a fix for that issue I think many of us would benefit from it. Stay Awesome!

For older phones such as Samsung S7, you have to use Google Messages instead of the Samsung Messages app in order to enable RCS. This is stupid because Samsung decided to not to push an update for the native Samsung Messages app to support RCS, while they want to beat Apple iPhone iMessages in the market. Samsung Messages for S9 and up supports RCS. If you want RCS to be competitive against iMessages, the least you could do is to update all your phone's native Messages app! My service provider has support for RCS on all mobile devices on their network. The limitation is software such as Samsung S7. I had to install Google Messages on my family's S7s.
