      @@LewisgardenservicesLtd Strimmers we are definitely considering switching over to battery solely for the weight reduction / ease of use but even then it means buying multiple batteries just to get through a days work and we just can’t justify the initial outlay for the battery equipment at the moment.

    Battery mowers are great when the grass is short and dry. They're easy to swing around as they're lightweight and handy for the days you have several regular mow, blow, and go jobs but the can't handle long wet stuff like it is at the moment. I've been using the trusty Briggs and Stratton whilst trying to get the Honda up and running.

    Enjoyed your video as always. We have a lot of time for battery kit, have plenty of it but, correct me if I'm wrong, that mower plus battery is over £4,000!! To my mind that is a ludicrous amount of money for a mower.

      Thanks, I'm a fan too as you probably know. Mowers, I'm not convinced on yet. This will come in handy but price point and profit achievable has to be the the biggest consideration sometimes. I'm still earning from the pro 46 mowers I bought early 2020 and that's the return id want from kit. Cheers for watching 👍

  • @brianconnor1810
    @brianconnor1810 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Like i said before Nathan, lawn mowers for garden services businesses that mow a lot of gardens like i do its got to be petrol mowers. A couple of gardens and that mowers batteries dead, how many batteries would you need for 15 lawns a day? Anyway, apart from that, it does look like one of the better battery mowers for someone who maybe has a large garden and its just used for their own garden. Or, in the van for some occasional use throughout the day but with the petrol mowers for the bulk of the work. Looks like its got 2 small blades rather one large one, nice.

    • @LewisgardenservicesLtd
      @LewisgardenservicesLtd  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Has twin blades, it does sit in the van as a backup at the moment, I totally agree and some days we knock out 25 domestic lawn cuts so petrol is the way to go for those. If I worked on 3 gardens a day doing all the weeding etc there too it would do ok. Thanks as always for watching and your comment 👍👍

    What's your thoughts on it? From what I could see and hear it wasn't the quietest of things and it seem to struggle a bit once you dropped the cut height before you dialled the power up. I'm still not convinced battery is there yet for mowers tbh

    • @LewisgardenservicesLtd
      @LewisgardenservicesLtd  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I've decided to leave it in the shed and I'll revisit it in the summer when the grass slows and hopefully drier, good to have as a back up tho or if I get some difficult access job. My days are tough enough without pushing a mower while I have self propelled no hassle petrol ones to be honest. Does fly along short flat areas tho so summer seems to be it's use I think. Cheers 👍

    They cut fine but sound like a cheap grinder, bit annoying after a while. Keep some spare blade shear pins handy if you hit a medium stone or two. The blades are synced like a chinook helicopter.
