The arch lengths are 9.5 feet, but only 8 feet of LED strip is used (half of 5m/16ft)? Wouldn't the bottom of the arches be unlit?

Anyone tried McMaster-Carr part 5181K14. Same size but 16" bend radius and Durometer of 45D instead of 20" bend radius and Durometer of 65D. Just wondering if anyone knows if it will work. Same price but shipping is $25 instead of $250 for me. Tough to pay that shipping bill. Just wondering if anyone options where the shipping doesn't sink my budget.

The pixel strips are from Ray Wu and there are 3 lights for every "pixel" but in the tube it looks like only one light for each pixel
