This is such good advice! I moved to the city last year and nearly picked a midtown high rise because I thought it was the thing to do. Ended up living on the UES instead which I loved. Now moving to west village for a change of scenery. Such a cool unique city with really distinct neighborhoods. The UES has been so quiet and suburban. Great for a family - I might have been a little young to take full advantage!

Fab video! I love NYC! I went with my hubby in 2008… Boston, then NY for a holiday and it was amazing!! I literally dragged him to all the Gossip Girl locations inc. the school gates and steps where Jenny was singing… ha ha i remember us searching for Billy Joel’s house! 🙈 never did find it…I think you should do a video of gossip girl locations etc… would be so cool!! Xxx

And I am watching this video b/c (a) I love Taylor! (b) it never ceases to amaze me how much neighborhoods change! Bed Stuy, in the 80s and 90s, was so dammed dangerous, Billy Joel even had it in a song! Some of the older shows, like the Law & Orders, will definitely talk about dangerous places like Washington Square Park - which obviously! has made a major change, also! And let's not even get started with what Bowery St once was ;- P.S. Bless you! for pronouncing Houston the right way!!! (Did you ever read the fascinating history of how it gots it name? Even the Wiki article is great!)

Loved this video! I’m not your typical age demographic but I love watching your videos with my 16 year old daughter. I’m married and I was wondering if families live in SoHo. I’m really interested in moving there and your neighborhood looks amazing! Currently in Los Angeles.
there are fewer families in SoHo vs. other neighborhoods, but I'm sure you can find something lovely!

The name of the street in NYC is not pronounced the same as the city in Texas
@@TaylorMorello I know I know how y`all pronounce it. I was lost looking for Houston street for a few hours. LOL Been to NYC many times and would love to life there for a year, I don't thing this Texas girl can take more than a year. Live long dream but I have gotten old (60) and not all dreams come true.
