    Chris, after watching you using the grader, dozer etc, you are a master of your profession. I love watching a master doing his job, and being a protectionist you really know how to finish any job. It’s no wonder you and the company are in high demand.

    I always enjoy watching the motor grader. I'm just starting to get what you are doing with it.
    Maybe do a Motor Grader For Dummies video? You have touched on what you're doing before, and it helps.
    I really enjoy all of your videos. I guess I'm vicariously playing in the dirt with your really big Tonka toys. Ahhh, childhood memories...
    Thanks.

    Thanks for all the great videos. Here in B.C., Can. we have to have a cage on our mach. before we can go in t he bush, how are you able to get around that down there? Why is it I never seem to see any merh. timber being saved? Last Q is here we find it quicker to send a faller in for the 10" or bigger wood to f&b it first. Not that he can fall it quicker but what he does save on machine time and wear and tear? Cheers, Billy in Canada.

    I work for the county road dept, we use our grader primarily for pulling shoulders and putting down gravel shoulders. Our grader is the only piece of equipment I haven't ran but I have to hand it to those guys, going around mailboxes and power poles and avoiding driveways all while maintaining the grade takes real skill. Grader work isn't easy.

    Hey mate I’m really loving your vids I never get board of watching your projects! There’s just one thing that I always want to know, how can you feel the difference in materials when you’re digging, like them boulders in the wood or when you’re digging down to a pipe? How do you do that without damaging it? Would love to see you explain it in a video sometime?

    Realistically, how big of an advantage is it to use a grader instead of a dozer? Is it just that the blade is so much wider and that will allow you to achieve more consistent grades with less passes? Never ran one before, but it seems like there’s many more moving parts.

    • @johnleake708
      @johnleake708 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The long wheelbase of the grader is key in getting consistent road surfaces and a good operator like the one we get to watch.

    • @lcl_eworks16
      @lcl_eworks16 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dozer is better over a short distance moving bulk, but can trim as well over that distance. The grader has better control over the long pitch because of its wheel base. Designed to trim more than bulk pusher. Also tracks vs rubber tyres and how the material reacts to the ground pressure. Food for thought

    Not being critical... BUT you need to stop rotating the blade under load while traveling its a certain way to cause damage. Its not like ajusting the dozer blade. It may look fancy going along doing it but its not how you use that feature. 🙄🙄🙄🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺😀😀😀😀 keep up the good work just remember slow an steady wins the race.
