  • FIRST LOOK: The Elantra N gets some big changes for 2024 from Hyundai. This is the first public sighting of Performance Blue on the refreshed N sedan. On the outside you will find an all new front fascia, lighting wheels and rear bumper. On the inside you will be greeted by the N performance seats, and (2) 10.25in screens. Powering the Elantra N is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 bolted to an 8-speed DCT. Is the 2024 Hyundai Elantra N a BETTER performance sedan than a Subaru WRX GT?

    These cars look so great, I currently have a 2022 Kona N that has been an absolute *joy* of a car to own for the last 2 years. I'll be trading it in on something else towards the end of this year when the miles start getting higher. Every time I see these 24 Elantra Ns, it makes me want to get one. However, I'd really like to get back into AWD and a faster vehicle, something like an M240i or RS3... Or, save money and still be mostly happy with another N car. Decisions. At least we have some truly fantastic options to decide on these days!

    Great review ! Over a WRX absolutely outside of living in Colorado & need that awd the EN destroys the wrx and even outgoing 21 STI from a roll & and DIG! Which is insane. As for a type R , the R just has more give & pull but the mark up these days on them are INSANE. I would have LOVED if they put the 2.5 turbo in the new EN & just called it a 2d Gen as the CEO did mention that the same 2.5 in the Cruz would fit…..still holding on to my 22VN DCT till 5N preorder comes witch god knows when 😅

    The sharp cuts into the body panels (front, sides, and rear) does a great job creating the overall aero dynamics. The performance blue with red outline incorporated into the calipers is a very good look. The interior looks very nice for the price point. I Hope Raiti gets to provide feedback on the driving experience. Other than that this seems to be a solid ride!!

    Thank always Joe for the nice stuff. Listen to this man, I live in Dubai. cars here are 20-30% more expensive than the US. The EN is for 44k the WRX gt WITHOUT the Recaros is for 51k. Anyway...
    Im waiting for the EN 24 to try to even get it or get the WRX 23 (zero milage) for 46k 😅
    One of my problems with the Elantras is that ALL the cabs here in Dubai are even Elantra or Camry or Sonata. When i look into the EN or ride it i see myself in a taxi.
    Here there are no hills nor snow nor rain so i dont really need the AWD. But i guess im gonna get the WRX anyway. Dont know what you'd do if you were in my place

    It’s the best way to go for the money! But if you drive a FL5 you will notice a huge difference in quality! Also you have a huge Community for the the FL5 platform with tons of aftermarket mods easily accessible and found. Elantra Doesn’t really have much..
    But Stock for Stock Elantra N wins with the Raw performance.

    • @NGSMODE
      @NGSMODE 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To add to what you said: Type R aftermarket is extensive (as expected,) but it isn't as easy and cheap as people think. My friend has a Type R, and it's a money pit for performance mods. And don't think for a second that it won't have potential reliability issues at over 400 whp just because It's a Honda.
      Type R got good quality, badge prestige/ nostalgia, bigger aftermarket at the extremes, but mod for mod a lot more costly.
      DCT EN with just Downpipe, N75 flash tune and meth kit on stock cooling and stock turbo can hang with Fbo big turbo Type R's while being reliable. And the EN costs less to work on!
